  1. Completely NOT photoshopped. I refreshed and that's what came up. Pixels are because it's downsized from my 30" monitor resolution so all those surfing on itty-bitty monitors can see it.
  2. Kiss my AZZ if you are guilty. That is all. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140628204/original.jpg
  3. Damn, we've had a couple newbs reading the rules and doing it right. Must be a full moon or something...... Good intro and nice ride. Glad to see you having fun with it too. Welcome!!
  4. Quality of cars = pics. Hats off to the photographer and a note of Jelly for all those vehicle owners. Great link!
  5. Thanks. It's a good time and nice break for me on the weekends. Unfortunately I tend to either sleep in or at times I'm on the soccer or swimming with the kids in the family mobile
  6. Look at the flip side, where there's one cop, even with someone pulled over, there's a decent chance there's spotter. Especially late at night during the holidays. problem solved by simply moving over 1 or 2 lanes and passing him, unless you're saying he cock-blocked you. Not cool if so.
  7. Is this even needed? I have a 10" kicker with a gain control switch on mine my MS3 GT with Bose and it wasn't needed.
  8. Down boy, Post #3 is just a joke :gabe: Nice truck. I'm sure I'll see it around Alum/270 as it's pretty unique.
  9. Family room theater.....not the lower level. That one is covered. This one is connecting to a Plasma and while I love Oppo, not for this application. I like the way you think though.
  10. True, but the last thing my house needs is another gaming system. I also want something like $130 or less  So far I found a Samsung for $140 http://www.hhgregg.com/samsung-wi-fi-internet-blu-ray-player/item/BDD5700 and an LG for $119 http://www.hhgregg.com/lg-3d-network-blu-ray-player/item/BD670 Leaning towards the Samsung only because I've used their support via phone and web and it's good but HHGregg has a decent return policy as I'll know inside a couple hours if I'm keeping it so I may pull the LG Trigger for the savings. I value CR opinions vs reviews on the HHGregg site and others.
  11. Okay, in 2007 I bought one of the first BD Players made and it's been fine but it won't play BD-R or BD-RE discs which are what I'm going to be using for my new HD Video Camera :dumb: Fuck this whole HD Video shit is getting expensive. Anyway, looking for the groups insight on a quality Blu-Ray player to buy Friday. I see a bunch are internet / wireless but heard some of the Sony's require an adapter, blah, blah.... Right now, my main requirement is to play BD-R or BD-RE but I'd also like to find one that can stream wireless perhaps in better quality than our Wii does. No sense in buying one that doesn't if they exist. School me on any you have bought and love. Thanks!!
  12. Cheap eBay Bastard you are :gabe: I always use a charger when using GPS because I"m usually doing three things....talking on the phone while connected to bluetooht, using MotionX and streaming music.
  13. Perhaps true on TomTom but 100% untrue when using MotionX Drive. It maintains and charges my phone. I use it all the time when traveling.
  14. That's BLK MN's wife's car. :gabe:
  15. Brake rotors? I think most OEM rotors for Passenger cars suck.
  16. Someone toss me some popcorn and a soda...
  17. exactly. growing up and having sold cars, we used to joke around with people who just wanted a price because in reality, if they aren't buying it right now, the number is meaningless anyway; so just show up ready to play. I Bought all three of our current vehicles that way. Works if you are paying for them up front. Not many dealers will even debate someone ready to just do the deal.
  18. Discuss over there as I know you will. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99104
  19. Did I miss the point or did I get it and just not comment? Was Apple found guilty of theft? What was the role of Xerox executives in all this? Have I ever said I support stopping Android? I love how Apple is being seen as the big bad Gorilla in all this :lolguy:
  20. Our boxers never swam well either. Not sure about our current one. She's not as built as our other two, more lean muscle vs a huge chest. If she swims like she jumps, she'll be fine.
  21. " the great irony is that so much of the amazing innovation that Apple pulled off over the past three decades can be traced back to its willingness to swipe ideas from Xerox." The great irony is having worked for Xerox I can say they did and do have great products, but unlike Apple, they couldn't market shit to save their lives thus Canon, who can market, set up shop here in another ironic twist....Lake Success, NY. Xerox wasn't doing shit with the ideas they claim Apple stole. So in essence if you come up with a great idea and don't do shit with it, are you part of moving the world forward or is it more the one who can take that idea to the next level and actually impact humanity with it? I vote the latter. Again, Google can come up with some cool shit, no doubt, but it's Apple that creates the market for the technology and has a solid enough business to actually command money for it and make profits.
  22. you should have just voice dictated it into your google device :gabe:
  23. The look, feel and handling of the phone is what I'm speaking of. iTunes store and apps too. The features you mentioned weren't a part of the original phone OS true, but no one told consumers they didn't need them. Features like these were rolled out over time just as with any manufacturer or developers product. Apple is by far more in tune with what the market spends their money on. Proof in the fact that while Google/Android had all those features while Apple didn't yet iPhones have always sold in huge numbers. If those things were that important, the product wouldn't be flying off the shelves as it is. Apple markets their features better than Google does their android features so when something like Siri his the market, yes, they appear to have led the way. Don't blame consumers if they credit Apple, blame Google for creating a fragmented and unclear market of their own doing. Just like the devices, Apple keeps them clean and simple to understand. People buy value and value what they understand and can apply to their daily lives, not techno improvements they don't understand. Itunes is far more well known and looked upon than you lead it on to be. Again, I'm not arguing that OTA updates and syncing, etc...isn't better, but the public at large was/is more comfortable knowing they have an application on their computer that keeps their devices in sync. Crawl-Walk-Run, now like Google, you'll see Apple move away from it, but they will do so with a following that understands vs trying to dump too much new tech stuff on the masses who have too much going on in their lives to obsess with trying to figure it all out at once. Again, simplicity. What defines being first or second in terms of what device I use or how it functions? What good is coming out with all the cool features first if the market as a whole doesn't give you credit for them? There's no denying the market perception of Apple. The brand speaks for itself and the products are solid. They are even confident enough to have carved out their own niche of customers and don't have to give away phones or shlep tablets at low prices to try and gain market share.
  24. Yes...most understand and move over yet will give you shitty look.... Key is to without any hesitation blow past their ass at top speed and if they play catch up play lock-up right back. I had a lady once brake check me on Sawmill Parkway as she rolled at 40mph in near zero traffic. She forced me to pass on the right then tried to cock-block me. I thought the back of MS3 was going to hit me in the head as I brake checked her right back. Volvo's do stop well though. I just wonder if her seat came clean as I'm sure she shit herself. Bitch.
