iPhones have a slew of great GPS options just the same My phone is charged upon arrival too I'd rather have one location that offers a few solid phones that work vs a choice of a bazillion that are all different as are their OS's and have EOL'd more phones than Apple has since 2007... Off to check out the next round of Android phones trying to imitate the iPhone, cross reference if my apps will be supported, Oh wait is that one isn't supported at AT&T...damn....which OS and Root do I need for this one.....what? You mean I just bought this and the next one is already out? Hey, is that a phone or a camera? What do you mean I can't just plug it in and have it look and feel just like my old one was set up? I have to customize it all over again? That's okay....I'm a techie and love that shit. To each their own. Not everyone wants a techno-weeny like device.

I love and hate that about GPS units. You start off on a trip, it says 2:45hrs to destination (cool and good to know, I love it) but then you realize "oh shit" and hope that you can gain some time. (I hate that part) The thing is, you then realize that even putting you driving record on the line and going 85mph, you don't really pick up that much in such a short trip because of traffic and other items out of your control and thus speeding that fast isn't usually worth it.

MotionX Drive. Best out there. Easy to use, fast, integrates with contacts, saves locations and favorites, etc....and while it does use your cell service, there's an option to download your routes and related maps programed in (You can build a route of say 5 stops) all that data ahead of time. I use it like this all the time. Typically as I'm having breakfast at a hotel or restaurant, I plug in my day of say 5-7 stops and pre-fetch it all. It's quite fast and takes maybe 2-3 minutes over a wifi spot. No need to worry if you lose cell service. Turn by turn spoken directions is $20/yr and for the longest time they ran a $10 special...may still be running? You get 30 days of it free to check it out. The app is free too and can be used on all the devices you want. You can share the above turn by turn plan too. Don't cheap out on the few bucks as it's that good. My two cents worth and me and my sales team drive 30-50k per year each and all love it. I don't even use the built in GPS in my car.

Clean car, cool build.

We could bring China to their knees if we would just stop making shit over there and buying said shit. We could just blow up Wal-Mart HQ and not even have to drop one bomb over in the middle east.

He has 3 Audi's so in trailer talk does that qualify as a triple-wide?

Your cave > many CR member homes. Looks good. Now I know who to call and do mine :gabe:

You can't actually undo it but you can correct it. The first step in small images like this are to remove all artifacts aka JPEG "blocks" that ALL JPEGs exhibit to some degree. They just happen to be huge in this image which is common in still capture from video. You have to target it on individual color channels and then on the A&B channel in lab color mode. Once that's done you can apply other typical edits and adjustments. Finally, you finish with resizing it properly. Not just resampling or resizing the existing image but actually converting the pixels to vectors and then resizing it. This will eliminate any further jaggy edges. Again, this image was by no means easy as it lacks detail and is very low resolution, but it will print 4x6 for good memories and better than the original. Here it is with a little motion blur added. Not only helps the image but does help technically hide stuff too. However, I provided him with both a motion blurred version and non. The below is of course downsized to match the original and thus is not the print quality image or size. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140599230/large.jpg

You have PM with link. Cleaned up jpeg compression and artifacts from video/still capture. Balanced exposure White balance adjusted Enlarged for 4x6 print size Won't blow you away, but will print 4x6 now much better and cleaner than the original.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/the-worst-product-flops-of-2011.html 6. Fiat 500 Company: Fiat This year, Fiat released its new 500 — a three door car that is under 12 ft. long. The car was expected to be a big seller, rivaling BMW’s Mini. Even before the car’s launch, however, detractors were predicting failure. Alan Mulally, CEO of Ford (NYSE: F), stated in Panorama magazine, “I do not see a large market in the U.S.A. for a smaller car than the Fiesta. Those that tried failed.” He was right. According to online magazine DailyTech, “Fiat expected to sell 50,000 500s during 2011 in North America. Through the first seven months of 2011, Fiat sold fewer than 12,000.” Sales were so poor that Chrysler Group, which manages the Fiat brand in the United States, ousted U.S. chief Laura Soave this past November. OUCH!

Good to hear. Back in 2006 when I tried to buy my GXP there the place was a hole. I worked there in College when it was Gill. Ronny Delma was my GM. Good guy. My family exited the business back in the 90's but were tight with the Gills and Chesrowns.

Talk to them. I bet they will share with you how they like the place and area. I have a couple in one of our units that's having another baby so I offered them a new washer and dryer set. A nice one too. Appliansmart FTW and they signed. Units stay with me though and that's in the lease.

I'd love to see the green sheets for dealers here locally and compare that to when my family was in the business. Business today is not what it used to be. That I know. You work at Tobin? Don't get me started on that place. Nothing against you as I don't know you. FWIW, there's no comparing a Acadia and MDX. On paper and specs perhaps, but not actually owning one. Besides, GM's 3.6l is no where at all what the 3.5l-3.7l Honda motor is. Again, in numbers but not quality.

Paint is easy and cheap, you, me and they know that. Does the place need any other improvements / upgrades that they would enjoy having and you would benefit from long term? We have rental units and each term I usually upgrade one thing, dishwasher, carpet, improve counters, etc., to use as both a thank you to them and to help me continually improve the property. Listen to what they like and see if you can find something like the above. May cost a little more but again, you both win. I'd likely do the paint for them too. I did carpet and floors in another place and they loved us for it and actually began taking better care of the place too.

FWIW in todays market I don't see $50k vehicles flying out the doors much. Someone should be able to hit you with a better deal than that. Just shop around with the phone and have them do courtesy delivery at Lindsey, then rub it in to them when you pick it up :gabe:
