while I can understand not getting a call and having to drive all that way pissing you off, but I'd like to better understand how the news is impacting MAG before passing judgement. Are they being impacted in terms of not getting reimbursed? What does the news due to them overall $$ How much notice did they get from SAAB? MAG isn't going to warranty cars out of their own pocket and incur huge losses and while it would be nice to think they would, it's not likely a money maker for them. Whatever they give away at Zero Dollars would take quite bit to make up in terms of billable work from those same customers. In the end, blame SAAB not MAG. One would think SAAB would have the plan to insure customer satisfaction and not pass their pain off to owners through the pain dealers are now facing.

I'm anal retentive so, yes. I don't shoot all the images I get. I contract out a lot of the shooting and do primarily the editing. Doing so does have it's draw backs. These aren't the best portrait shots to have been done :dumb: However: I get to stay home more and work less. Most of my work now is in front of a PC as I let others shoot the work I make more per hour $$ I work around my desired hours not the clients It it offers me a lot of benefits and in the end, the clients get what they want. Not bad for a side hobby turned business that is finally paying quite well.

These are the before and after. The far left is no makeup and hair. They then did their make up and had some photoshop work done. In some cases, a lot You'd be surprised how many emails I get for this type of work. No lie, at least 3-4 per day. Quick money. I just can't help but think of the Seinfeld issue where the girl looks different under certain lights..... :lolguy:

I think the same thing. To have to tell the wife you're going for 3 days to catch a poacher in the hills and having to jump on a single prop plane then ATV and dodge bear and locals who clearly don't want you around while mother natures shrinks your balls with cold weather.....I hope they make some decent cash.

I'll keep you posted as the wife and I and other family are in the process of doing both Solar and Wind Generators at our various property locations. I have 50 acres near Zainesville and between Athens and Cambridge our family has over 200 more. We're meeting in February to discuss the tax abatement and funding from Uncle Sam. Costs to build them are way down too. The property we just closed on in Florida has had solar power for the past 5 years and zero issues.

What? Not enough wind? You do realize that there's a HUGE windmill farm not more than an hour from us right? Ohio has a nearly a dozen huge farms from here to Toledo and the Indiana border. Just watch the one at Byers Mazda, it spins all the time. Costs on Solar panels have plummeted in the past 3 years too. I worked on projects for both Walmart and Home Depot, both of whom have several stores running entirely on Solar as part of a development project to save on taxes in the future. Costs are very much in line today for a decent ROI. Walmart has committed to go that route, whereby Home Depot is simply studying the viability as it relates to savings. Walmart is a very Green company.

So I rotate our kids TV time between various shows. My son has a friend at school who's dad is a Trooper so he's been hooked on Alaska State Troopers and I must admit, it's a cool show. If you love the outdoors it fulfills your wish and if you think OSP is a bunch of ticket writing PIA's and others are likely the same, then watch this show and see how very different their troopers make a living vs ours. Most every resident has guns or knives on them and it's not just the people they need to wrroy about. They have huge amounts of ground to cover, shifts aren't just 8-10hrs and it's never just sunny and 72 degrees. I dig it. :thumbup:

2012 will be a year of Florida for us. We just closed on a nice Condo in the Panhandle, but we're renting it out to various family for most of this year as we have other trips planned. We may spend some time there in December, haven't even thought that far out. Otherwise, we're still going to enjoy some time down south. Orlando - 1 Week of fun with the family while the weather here sucks Fort Lauderdale Very nice Westin Resort - Just the wife and I for one week while you all very likely will be snowed in here. NYC. We plan on dovetailing this off some business travels but will take several days on our own to show the kids around the Big Apple during spring. Sanibel Island in - Taking our parents again for 10 days of fun in the sun. Early summer. Late Summer - Taking our kids through our Grand NW Tour from San Francisco through, Oregon, Washington and over to Victoria Island. We normal take 2 weeks but we're shooting for 10 days this time A Las Vegas trip dovetailed off some travels for work. We spent one week there being kids again last fall and had a good time.

Last checked Pepsi is a US based company. If Iraq/afganistan wants to buy it and put a picture of Osama on it I don't give a fuck. their money then comes here so I don't care. Just send them a blank can and have them print the shit up. Better things in Life to worry about.
