So a friend of mine bought his wife a new 2021 Honda Passport Touring. Truly a great looking SUV if you have to pick one. Have never been a HUGE fan of silver but on this vehicle, I think it really looks great. Honda has done a great job blending sporty and practical with a nice blend of gloss and matte black accents. Love the wheels on it too. Here is my New Vehicle Polish & Protect Package with a Dual Layer Ceramic Coating. This one also included a polish and ceramic on the wheels and it had to include a trim coating package to keep this black cladding looking brand new for years to come. Love the vehicle and the way it turned out and must say if you're in the market for an SUV, this is gotta go on your list. Looks great is HUGE inside...deceivingly big for a 2 row vehicle and the silky smooth power of the V6 is something I'm glad they kept for another year.

So my friends at Chapman Ford sold a couple nearly 2hrs away this great little gem of a convertible. They saw a couple cars that I've done for them in person they day they bought this and said they had to make the trip to Columbus to have this one done too. Personally, it's not my first choice in years but this 1997 only has 46k miles on it and the interior is a 10/10 and cleaned up just as well as the outside and I just love how it sounds. It's a hard working couple that saved up for a summertime cruiser that they could enjoy on back country roads and get away from the mundane world of work and daily drivers. This ones checks a lot of their boxes. It had a little paint work and I'm sure there's some history there but overall it's clean and well sorted. Fun thing is I mentioned perhaps upgrading the wheels and filling out the rear end a bit with some real meat and that's exactly what they were off to do today after they picked it up! Gotta love priorities and making such a great car look even better. It was riddled with swirls and the panels that were painted did need a little love in terms of refinement. Now it's nearly impossible to tell which ones were painted. Considering they wanted a full interior done too including restoring the leather we balanced out costs and went with my Premium Enhancement Polish Package and a single layer of CarPro Ceramic that will do just fine for many years to come considering it's not going to see inclement weather nor bake out in the sun. In addition, I cleaned and fully sealed the convertible top and ceramic coated their wheels. As an added touch, I tossed in restoring the black trim to NEW and sealed it up with it's respective coating too. Leather wise, it responded extremely well to the full Leatherique Restoration process and drank up nearly 3 applications of the rejuvenation product but now it's super soft, supple and best of all, no more dirt or gloss from years of crappy Armor-all like cheap interior dressing. Matte Black as it should be is how it is now.

That is awesome to hear and I'm glad you did very well on it! Never underestimate the power of a clean car to invoke the emotion to buy! Worked on me with my own car....the Accord too. Nice pics! I've driven a Type R three times. Super fun car. Not my thing but it is pretty amazing how well it handles. The best way to describe it is that it doesn't feel RWD but it certainly doesn't scream FWD given the power and tossibility.

So a good friend of mine Rick has some of the most awesome German Machines in his garage. Most all are M-Series or above and this is yet another new addition that he added just about one month ago. It's a 2016 BMW M3 in Tanzanite Blue Metallic. It's a gorgeous color and really is amazing to see in person. I'm not sure if it's the flake or the way the body is shaped or both, but the gloss flows like electricity over this car. The color combo of this blue and the Amaro Brown Leather is stunning. Best combo I've seen in this car. It's a originally a California car and one that lived in the Sacramento area for a while. Really a super nice car and one that I gotta say is noticeable that hasn't seen much rain and of course no snow. Top to bottom it cleaned up amazingly well. Not sure if it's a competition package but there are some really nice Carbon Fiber accents all over and the entire roof with Carbon Fiber really sets it off too. The car was in average condition with swirls and scuffs all over it. Nothing horrible but it definitely needed some love. We approached this with my Premium Enhancement Polish Package topped with a dual layer Ceramic to lock in the depth, add a touch of gloss and protect this day-forward. Wheels are done too because like most German cars, OEM Pads are a PIA and dropped dust like crazy. Even in these pics you can see rust from the rotors after the wash has already made it's way like Cinnamon over top of some areas. Onto the pics! AFTERWARDS however, she is like Brand New!

Being so big and taking abuse, it was Scotts goal to get it shined up and a dual layer Ceramic Installed to help the day-forward clean-ability of it. The 3 and Y are technically two models, sedan vs CUV. 450k still isn't screaming in terms of the entire vehicle market. All they are doing is taking a segment of the population that can afford or is willing to spend $50-60k on a vehicle and selling to them.

I'm not sure the free market is screaming to pay such high costs for EV's right now. In today's climate there's a lot of screaming for all kinds of stuff but when it comes to their paying for it and dealing with the other difficulties around them, the screaming goes away. Reality sets in. IMO the world would be better off with plug in hybrids that give 50-100 mile EV only range but have ICE on board to pick up the slack. Again, a nice Model 3 Performance is an awesome car (outside the shitty looking interior/dash) but for $65k? Meh...hard pass for now. I see no real value in that. Give me a mid $30k car with 50 miles of Plug in EV range and a decent 300hp combined with an ICE Engine and I'd be good. Think Rav 4 Plug in tech inside a mainstream sedan or other CUV's which are selling hot now. Doing that will provide more than enough around the town 80-90% EV only use and eliminate any long term charging station requirements.

Rav 4 Plug in. Oddly enough, your point about around town was what we were looking at too. It was/is on the list for our family. 42-ish miles EV only for around town which is cool. Add to it, when fully charged it clips off 0-60 in 5 seconds thus around town it's fun factor is there. Think back to the older V6 Rav 4 units. I think if more cars did that it would hurt full EV only sales more because for 90% of what people would do it would be a full EV but on long ass drives, you would have both and have no need to stop and charge. Harder to get and commanding $40k+ fully loaded though, they cross into lower level EV Pricing ranges.

It is a big drawback for those driving outside just their little area of life. Love the idea of performance, etc but spending 20 minutes and hoping the charger works to do what normally takes a few and has never let me down is a big factor. I don't have time nor patients to wait around at a rapid charger while I'm traveling. Home charging is cool and all once retrofitted but even there for best results you're supposed to only charge to 80% and that limits things. Add in winter and losing another 20% due to cold and that takes a potential 310 mile range to about 185. Then losing range simple sitting outside in the cold. At least with gas if I make it to a destination with 32 miles to go, I know when I come out it still has 32 miles to go.

So new resident to Columbus has had a pet project taking up his time for the past year or so. Welcome to the US His 55k US Mile Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R. It's an amazing car and one of the more well sorted copies I've seen from the R32/R33 era. The interior is like new. It's had at least 3 episodes of paint including some fresh area over the front 1/3rd of the car. He added the body kit, wheels, tires, re-did the brakes and is in the process of re-doing the calipers and engine components to be color matched to whatever he's choosing for that. Down the road a few of the old paint flaws will likely be addressed but for now they live in a story that he doesn't really know the full history of and certainly don't detract from the overall car. Definitely more to do but one awesome car that was a pleasure to work on. We weren't working for a full correction on some of the older paint but darn near got it. Plenty of quality left in the clear to keep protecting from this point forward for sure. The entire car is wrapped in 3 layers of CarPro Ceramic and should shed water and dirt like fresh non-stick pan. Now onto a handful of pics which honestly don't do it justice:

well, there would be a dead body and eyewitnesses, so yes, it's more likely than not that we would. no doubt the video made a difference all around though but in the end, yes, we would know. We can say these are "one in millions" events, but black communities have been saying they aren't since... forever. numbers still show they are but a minority of situations among millions of encounters. can't comment on the encounter with the other CR member, but the last sentence is true among most people. some more than others but in your case I would simply say you're engaged in debates and conversations but that's a good thing. it is a lot of media fanning the flames though. just look at how quickly they tried to pounce on the MaKhia situation and so many others. I think people have been listening. Even over the past 5-10 years we've seen LEO's tried and brought to justice. I don't think the masses are "dismissing" anything. Many are asking for accountability BOTH WAYS and for personal responsibility to be part of everyone's lives. Again, it's HIGHLY unrelated to your skin tone but 99.9% related to how you behaved before and during your encounter. Details do make a difference and matter. Millions of non-white people every year survive their encounters with police just the same. True, and harder yet for me is to see those same failures try and get pawned off on a cop doing his job and a country of people who saw the video still try and blame said cop not the system. Those numbers far outweigh the bad dirty cops and THAT'S what's scary and sad. There are more "bad" misinformed people who are flat-out wrong on that situation and all the others than there are bad cops or instances of wrong doing by police. To me, the latter is more concerning because we as a society don't address it and the media is part of it. In the meantime bad cops are being addressed. It's time to get all those misinformed people to realize they were wrong and to stop acting like the cops did something wrong there and to STOP ignoring what led up to the matter which is what brings the cops to scenes in the first place. Too many focus on the details after police are involved and continue to ignore the back-story. it's good that you and many others are paying attention. I however don't believe we should be providing any excuses here though. Those decades and centuries aren't ingrained in people at birth, it's taught to them. Jacob Blake was a thug and he gets no-pass from me for his behavior that day. I'm sorry but I won't ever buy into that. There are Jacob Blakes everywhere and they need no excuse or hall-pass. We don't need to be teaching crap like critical race theory in schools or businesses. What we need is to teach people how to not be douche bags in society and how to raise a family and productive contributing citizens. Common sense and normal acceptable behaviors are what's needed. Nothing you and I as people, let alone being singled out as "white" has anything to do with this. That's personal responsibility on the part of everyone. It's time to stop pointing fingers and going on about the past. Time to start having individuals be more focused on solutions going forward and that involves behavior change on their part. I'm all for holding the police accountable to do this but just the same and it's time for the public as a whole to realize they too have "work to do" and change how they behave. Perhaps if they did that to begin with there wouldn't even be an encounter with police. It's not just meme material or sarcasm to say that if you simply do those things people won't get shot by the cops. It's true. They might actually lead a more productive and happy life too. Imagine that.

End of day the number of actual number of cases like MN are single digit low per year if that. Out of millions of encounters. To freak out over those odds is stupid and pure media hype.

So many here will know Eric as EC E92 on the forum. He has one of the coolest daily drivers out there and this is certainly one that I really enjoyed working on. NICE car for sure! It's a 2008 V8 M3 with a bad ass sound system under the car. Super deep, clean growl. That's my opinion just on a start up and blip of the throttle. I can only imagine the glorious sounds this thing would make up to the 8,000+ redline it has when warmed up. Anyway, detail wise, Eric will admit he hasn't cleaned it up much lately and she was proudly wearing the effects of winter still. LOVE the wheels, but they were layered in brake dust and gunk for sure. Badly contaminated to the point that it was like sandpaper on the hood and the doors back were loaded with ferrous partials rusting on the surface. I can do a lot with a little and with this being an all-around daily he wanted to simply give it my Basic Polish & Protect package and use the extra money to top that with a 2 layer ceramic the second of which is not only a second hard-coat layer or protect, but it also has a super slick top-coat built in that helps repel water spots even more so than the newer formulation of coatings do already. Together they will help keep it cleaner longer and most certainly make day-forward cleaning a snap! Here's what I had to start with. Bad but not horrible. Seeing the above makes for a true make over look once done. Now one would be hard-pressed to see this as a 13 year old vehicle with over 133k on the clock. Yep. It's real. Not a hugely costly fix if one is proactive though. Super nice cars. Loved my Audi, but I will warn you if they act up, dealers, especially MAG are assholes about costs and issues. Dandini's in Westerville is worth a visit. Ken is legit and straight up and can fill you in. Just call him. I took mine there for the few issues it had since mine was tuned and I had no warranty. Again, great cars but anything so over-engineered, which they are, will have issues and costly ones as they age. Just my two cents.

it's not because you aren't black. it's likely because you aren't attacking them or getting physical in any way. I know plenty of black and brown people who have lots of interactions via traffic stops and none of them bitch or were treated poorly. Actually, I've been treated more aggressively on two separate occasions than any of theirs. My brother in law is as black as they come skin tone wise, can play the part of a brother in the hood and does yet never has issues and he is in fair share of stops in both his car and on his Harley. Why....because he's laid back, and doesn't cause trouble. Like you and me, he knows the lawyers in our family can get the tickets kicked or down to points only or a small fine. Does shit happen, sure. It's a rarity more than common. It's a continued narrative by the media for clicks and money that's all. The movement to hurt policing is only going to hurt the people more than the rare instances of abuse that exist, but hey, who cares....clearly most don't. Can't save stupid. Portland's Mayor and many in the MN area are feeling that stupid. Only they can save themselves. Eventually the cycle will calm and they too will learn. Act like a fool with a LEO encounter and it will not go well. In the end, people need more accountability for their own actions. Fuck, if you're going to run drugs or be thug, at least fix your tail lights and drive like a normal person then perhaps you won't get stopped to begin with. OSP makes nearly all their stops that result in drug busts on stupid shit. SMH at criminals who miss the little details that end up getting them caught. It's laughable actually.
