Trish, you can borrow my Ozone Machine. Just clear out any animals for a couple hours. People too It will do a large room to small apartment easily. Ozium is the product/spray and solids that I've used. I'll add though that CarPro SiO2 Pure is awesome stuff too. Pricey, but works great. https://www.carpro-us.com/interior-fabric-care/so2pure-odor-eliminator-120ml/

The "old Man" Galant VR-4 stretching its legs.

No doubt. Best my girl did back then when this happened was mid 14's and he kicked me backward from the dig and then proceeded to continue walking me. It was a good death. -

Not gonna lie.....I love that car. I remember getting smoked by one back in the day when I had my 97' GTP and wondering how quick it really was. Even back then I'm sure the guy had it modded well. -
Here's a great read for the average guy: https://asm-air.com/airconditioning/air-conditioner-freezing-up/

I agree they aren't the same. My point was simply that should an accident occur in either situation, innocent drivers around them are being put in a situation of extremely high risk of having a death on their conscience due in part to the the first party's poor choice. If it were me and a motorcyclist died without a helmet it would weigh heavy on me but not for long given IMO they were dumb for not protecting their head. However, to your point, in the case of a child, I'd feel bad for the child and angry at their parent(s).

I'll leave just one of many here for all to see. https://www.today.com/health/mom-warns-about-car-seat-safety-after-daughter-nearly-sliced-t104541 Anyone here working in a hospital that has been exposed to a child in such an accident I'm sure can elaborate on how bad they are. I personally would never have put my child in without one. It's critical that the lap and shoulder belts provide restraint in the correct place or when involved in a major accident things are not going to end well. To the OP'ers point, I absolutely agree and see it as hugely frustrating. Worse is when I see kids jumping around in the back of the vehicle while on the road. Not only is it crazy stupid for them to be doing so and shame on the parents, but the Gaul for others to put the rest of us in such a position is amazing too. Very similar IMO to a motorcycle rider without a helmet. Both put themselves at HUGE risk to injury should our vehicles collide and that's not something I want to live with should the child be killed. Even if I'm not at fault in the accident, to know that the collision and death could have been avoided is sad. If people want to risk their child's life, that's not okay with me but it's their child. To put others on the road in a position of such harm being in their potential outcome is just plain selfish and again, not okay. As they say however, "you can't fix stupid"

would be your luck he come back, land on your left forarm, you'd tie it off and he'd fucking rip off your thumb as you went to feed it, then it would ape-shit on your face. My luck, I'd invest time and money and the bastard would fly off and never come back. cool shit for sure!

Thank you sir. I try and use my two vehicles as examples so I guess since both are daily drivers too I have to reproduce the same results Every vehicle I do is mine for a day or two so I indeed treat them that way. Thanks for viewing!

Good info! The mom here is huge. I've seen her a lot over what seems like years. The younger ones were picking off sparrows out of the nests along our neighbors roof. I also watch two young ones either toss a squirrel from a tree or he jumped for his life. They then nailed him and ate him within minutes.

My backyard in Dublin is loaded What keeps her coming back to you vs just goodbye! ?? We have a family of Red tails in our area. There was a period a couple three weeks back where Mom, Dad and 3 young ones were all hunting and perching in our yard. VERY cool to see. I got 4 in one shot but I honestly sat outside and watched them with my son for hours without a care to taking more pics.

To all those that lost lost ones and good friends, we'll never forget and you will all be forever missed. I spent quite a bit of time traveling to and working in NYC. One of my best customers who was lucky, spent Sept 10, 2001 in NYC and had their entire family at the top of WTC for some pics too. Many of my customers and friends were not so lucky. Let's all take a moment and remember those that lost their lives that day. Here is one of my favorite shots from back in the day. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/166183878/original.jpg

So Adam from the CR Community had his wife's Toyota Matrix done last year and at that time I told him his Accord would look fantastic if it was shown a little love. He planned on it but lived with it for a while until this week when he decided to shave 8-10 years off it's 10 year life in the elements. This Dark Royal Blue Metallic 2008 Accord is IMO the best daily driver one could have. His was a family members before he got it but the costs, the reliability set this baby very high on my list of smart cars to own. The before story is that it was garaged and protected but honestly, it doesn't appear to have ever been waxed or "protected" in any way. He has washed it and kept it out of the elements but it was in dire need of some love. Waterspots and heavy swirls dominated the vehicle. It never looked Royal Blue but rather just black and the metallic flake never had a chance to make it to the human eye through all the swirls and scratches. We approached this with a goal of 90% + correction and to seal it up with one of the newer versions of the coatings I have. Looking at the options with Honda having soft paint, I decided to use CarPro Essence as the final polish as it finishes out beautifully, but then it also serves as a great SiO2 primer base for the2 layers of Cquartz Coating I targeted to protect this baby. Here are some before and after shots but a link to the gallery for those that want to see the details. Thanks for viewing and thanks again to Adam for trusting me with both of his cars! Linksys Velop - Have had our network with 3 nodes, one on each level, for the past 4 months and it's by far been the best coverage and speed I've had. Full speed downloads and uploads from our garage to patio or anywhere. Each unit has the capability of being set up to be wired in too. The only downside I've seen is that it's strictly configurable through your phone, which is fine for most, but I like the old-school managing of the details via my desktop. Been VERY Solid for us and stupid easy to set up and use.

I agree, that's why the stats are not altogether accurate. There's always more to the story. Ignoring the obvious profiles of people in context with where the instance is occurring just to be politically correct is stupid and cops know it. You don't have to "like" the facts but they are pretty reliable. Stereotypes aren't politically correct but in many cases can be more accurate than not. Enjoy pulling out the exceptions and arguing them all you want but there's often a reason why cops stop people and it's not based solely on skin color. Of course you object, you don't like stereotypes or the use of broad nets being used to fight the bad guys. You'd much rather have the world of shit in Chicago be everywhere so long as no broad nets or common sense be used. I'll take the opposite and am much more appreciative of a more stern approach when and where needed and likely to be effect so long as the crap is gone. Again, you and many others worry more about the bad guys whereas I worry more and error on the side of the good guys. Perhaps at the expense of a few but the end results are worth it. since when is simply denying a search probable cause? You grew up in NY and I worked there when it wasn't a great place. It was made safe under Rudy's watch and I'm sure you hate the techniques used to drive out the riff-raff but it worked and continues to work. Argue the stats and issues all you want, the city is safer because of the police and their methods and millions going there every day can thank them for it. Me included.

What's the relationship between why each was stopped and searched? Stats like this mean nothing without the probably cause as to why drivers were stopped or searched. The reality is it doesn't make sense to continually search those that are less likely to turn up something just to balance out the stats. It's also worth noting that according to the BJS cops search males 2x that of women too. Again, there's always a reason. Cops aren't out to simply harass men more. Effectiveness is what we're after. In the end one can say no to a search too.

my point isn't the tone it's the depth in which you reply. this is a message forum not a college thesis. that's all. internet status achieved by more than just you. opinions are like assholes right? no one here is going to stay quiet just to quiet you down. part of that is why I say the Antifa fucks trying to stomp out free speech can kiss my ass and that of those that are in abundance against them.

agree that the stats are hard to ignore, but again, they can easily be skewed due to the details. case in point is clear when you hear about traffic stops. how many of these stops are based on stupid shit like broken tail lamps, traffic violations, tinted windows too dark, etc. It's like in nearly every instance people are failing to keep themselves off the radar and are handing cops reasons to give them a hard time. Again, I doubt very highly that two cops in a car are simply scanning to waste time giving brown people a hard time. my point is if you don't want to be seen as a possible target then don't put one on your back. A big part of that is making better decisions. It's not hard to put fix a tail light or not give cops a reason to stop you. but that "need" for these special programs are crutches that wouldn't be needed if the other details I've mentioned before were handled. I stand by the fact that a lot of the school related issues stem back to the break down of the family and choices that the people involved make. single moms, deadbeat dads, baby factory mindsets, drugs, near zero involvement in kids lives, etc. all of those things are personal choices not something that is happening to these people. until those those things apply to fix those issues, you're right, the problem is going to exist and that solution lies more in the hands of the families in question then they do in gov't or society to fix. The problems and challenges in my life have a solution, but they start with me and my family first, not you or others around me. haha. I actually know and like Kerry. He's a good dude just as I'm not a real bad dick in person either. I call it CR banter. We're all people not just persona's on CR. No enemy status here. Very few if any on CR that have proven to be turds both online and in person. IMO with Kerry, the reason responses are what they are is he fails to structure his replies to the medium and audience.

IMO there's always more to things like the above than skin color. Are there bad cops that harass people, yes. Do cops nationwide systemically wake up to harass people of color, I don't find that to be true or likely. Especially today when there are tons of people of color actively involved in the same system. I've worked and spent penty of time in NYC and the burrows. I am the minority most of the time in the areas I'm at too. I've seen people shaked down on the street and honestly, most are indeed sketchy. It's pretty clear cops would be wasting time frisking me. Some might call that "wrong" I call it common freaking sense thus why I've never been harassed. Again, there's more to the above than skin color except when all one looks at is skin color. I understand. As I've noted, I do think instances like the above do happen and happen to people of all colors. Do I think it's systemic and rampantly part of the system, no. Again, there's way way more to the above situations; there always is. However, stats and numbers can be easily posted and written about in different ways when the details are left out. I prefer to look at things like the above on an individual basis so the details can be seen. I believe half of what I see and nearly none of what I read/hear, especially on situations like this. The devil is indeed in the details and especially today, the details on both sides are often left out to make a one sided argument. Just my opinion.
-
Serious question on what a couple of those things, especially system things, are that happen to people just because they are brown.
-
would make no difference so long as my family was strong and parents made good choices like the ones I've had. I also think "racism" as we know it has less to do with simply skin color as it has to cutlure or how one lives their life. I think we're selling people on all sides short if we truly think that it is still that way. maybe back in the 50's or maybe today among turds like Neo's but in everyday America, no. I have a nephew who was born black back in 76 and while not living below the poverty level, both parents were still in the Airforce with no college under their belt....at that time. I have a niece and nephew born yellow in 01 and 06 one of which was born while both parents were so poor they lived in an office building they rented not even a house. Their race has had no impact for the negative on them. FWIW everyone noted above have done extremely well for themselves.
-
IMO we need to remove race from that point and replace it with culture or another term that isn't limited to skin tone. Race is irrelevant really since while it's linked to culture and behavior or lifestyle, it's not the only factor. There are a lot thugs from all races in the hoods of our society that collectively continue self-defeating behaviors. That said, it's not racist, it's just plain stupidity and cultural failure that to me puts a lower value on them as it relates to the value everyone has to offer society as a whole. Not everyone in life is going to get a trophy nor worthy of being the first-round pick for intramural softball in school and likewise, I suppose every area of the country has pools of worthless turds who practice self-defeating behaviors.
