  1. This is the type of thing we can expect from society today. The country simply does not have it's priorty's straight. It's why that soccer mom will cut you off this week, and then flip you off when you honk your horn. Same reason the Georgia supreme court said that the immigaration bill isn't fair because it's going to force all illegal immigrants to leave the state. There is no such thing as personal accountability. So much focus on making everything Fair. It's because of one off cases, enough loop holes are created that reasonable doubt can be formed. Afterall, unless you physically saw someone commit the crime, there is really reasonable doubt. And even then, there are plenty of studies that prove eye witness accounts are not credible.
  2. +1 The shit they say is unbelievable. 1. because I can hardly understand it and 2. because it's like they live on a different planet.
  3. +1 The shit that comes out of their mouths is unbelievable.
  4. People don't care about other people or even themselves, can we really expect them to give a shit about animals? As LJ put it, you can only kill animals so many different ways. Regardless of how it's done someone is going to think it's cruel.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lo9tLrOHXH4 This was all that was needed to handle the situation.
  6. lol... I guess you and I are the only ones that have seen "The Other Guys"
  7. I would have to agree that if I was stupid enough to put myself into that situation, I would probably be fearing for my life as soon as the people 'entered' the car and started beating on me. The little bitch hits they were doing from over the door was one thing. Everybody knows what happens in mob type situations, that could have easily escalated into a situation where the guy was killed. Had they of dragged him out of the car, I have no doubt there would have been several people kicking the guy while he was on the ground. I may have announced I had a weapon and would use it or would have done a desk pop first, firing a round through the floor board. I'm sure that would have been enough to get them to back away, and if they proceeded forward and attacked after that, then in my opinion, the people attacking had full intentions on killing me, and would have been promptly laid to rest. But again, only after the guy entered the car. Prior to that, the violence wasn't life threating imho.

any update on relaxing the law for CCW permit holders? I'd like to be able to take my gun into a resturaunt if I'm not going to drink. What a pain in the ass to have to go out to your car, lock it up and go back out. If your some place like Easton and didn't plan on staying for dinner.
  10. +1 Best one of the series, I liked it a lot.
  11. I'll take it all for the 125. Call me and I can come pick it up. 614-778-8166 Jason
  12. I like the Deleware range a lot. I would recommend taking a few targets for the rifle range, so you don't have to walk out and move it that often. Waiting for everybody to quit shooting so you can move your target sucks.
  13. I've had both, so depends what you want. I liked both cars for different reasons, but they are completely different. I took my stock 2007 Z06 11.7@125 bone stock first day I owned it. I took the 2010 GTR 11.7@117 shortly after I purchased it. Both can be modified to go mid-high 10's for less than 3k. I liked the auto in the GTR, but it's not for everbody. It's very clunky and you have to understand that it is a stick shift that is controlled by the computer. That means the car downshifts every gear as your stoping. It's not too noticeable like the lamborghini's, but it's still there. The GTR is basically a tuner car. Drives like you would assumed a highly modified 370Z would drive. I've had a ton of modified cars in the past, so the car's behaviours weren't a problem for me, but it's certainly not for everybody. The only other bad thing is nobody knows what the car is. I mean nobody. Other big thing here is traction. No worries about ever racing when it's a little chilly outside(like MCIR grudge nights) The Z06 is a corvette. If you've driven a C5 or C6 before, it's the same. No real difference except it's fast. Flat out flies from a 40mph roll. You should only have about 100 people ask you if it's a real Z06. lol If your planning on a bunch of mods, the Z06 is the best platform. No worries on replacing a $20,0000 transmission. Since your considering both of those, may as well consdier a Viper. My 06 was my favorite car of all time. An absolute blast to drive. However gets so much attention it's a little annoying. Can forget about stoping by the grocery store and getting something real quick, as you'll probably come back outside to someone walking around it. Can't tell you how it performed stock, but can say with a Paxton, it ran consistant 11.2's@128. If I was going to recommend a car, I'd say get the GT-R before the Corvette.
  14. About 8 months ago I switched from Nationwide to Geiko and am saving over $400/month. Saved $200/mo on homeowners, $120/mo on the RV, and $30/mo on each car. My other policies were the same. But regardless, that's pretty significant.
  15. wish I would have seen this earlier. I would have picked it up. Need a better Rabbit gun!
  16. I know some people have said in the past that droping diet pop and switching to water will help you lose weight. I've been off all diet pop for over a year and didn't lose a single pound(not why I stopped drinking it though) I will say that overall I feel better having switched away from pop, though I do think that the flavor the pop gives you, sometimes curves your desire to snack. Plain water gets old. And while everything ultimately casues cancer in some way shape or form, if you read up on the artificial sweeteners they put in pop, they are really bad for you. Studies claiming fat build up around organs, to dulling the "Your full" receptors in your stomach, to any number of things. I'm guessing a lot of it is just BS, but at the end of the day, I know water isn't going to kill me, lol. Back on topic. Good for your friend in making another effort to get back into the swing. Eating is, in my opinion, just like any other addicition out there, hard to kick. Which is why a large majority of the people that lose weight gain it all back w/in 5 years. I've tried to diet a few times myself over the years, and it's tough. I'm now going 3 weeks strong and have come across a few hurdles myself. Just not losing the weight as fast as I did a few years back. I personally believe my recent(past 18 months) weight gain and slower than pervious weight loss is due to antacids. I stoped them 2 days ago, and it will be a battle I'm sure for my body to make the adjusment away from them, but I know along with losing weight other benifts come with it. Easier breathing, better digestion, etc.. I'll know in a couple weeks if the change helps. I'm not buying that my matabolism is that much worse at 31 vs 26. If anything I'm 2x more active now vs 5 years ago. We'll see.
  17. I watched that entire video, just wanting to see the Truck back up... and nothing. That camera man failed.
  18. I've always wondered if they actually worked. good to know you've had good results with it.
  19. +1 I'd be curious to see why you like it as well. I've never used one.
  20. This confuses the shit out of me. Is there any reason they are using a crane to pull it out of the water, and not just a wench?
  21. I am a big fan of the Linex spray in liner. I've had it done to my last two trucks and they hold up very well to abuse. They also clean up very well! It's has a rough surface, which is what I wanted, so things wont slide as much, but your also not going to want to put something in the truck that you wouldn't want scratched either. The best folding tonneau cover I've found was the Access brand covers. I had the Larado on my F150 and am using the Vanish on my 2500. Super easy to fold up and put back. The sides hold on by Velcro, and the part by the tail gate just snaps down. Literally takes 30 seconds to fold up or put back down. Here's a link: http://www.agricover.com/index.php/products/category/C103/ If you want to see a couple liner options and the Larado/Vanish Covers, Stop by Mark/my office and you can check out both trucks. He's running the Larado Cover and Bed Rug liner. Jason
  22. I have a Kimber Ultra Carry II, and it jammed on me a few times in the first few hundred rounds. I was told that the springs need to "break in" when I asked about it. They said it's mainly a problem with the shorter barrell guns. I will say that I've had zero jams in the last 500+ rounds after the supposed "break in". I like the gun a lot, though my favorite is my cheaper M&P 9mm. Never had a single problem ever.
  23. Not to start a fire thread, but I'm really just curious about a couple of things. 1. Can someone name some of the government programs that aren't capitalistic that actually work(like Soical Secuirty, Medicare, Welfare, Disability, Unemployment, Workers Comp, schooling etc...) While I'm not a rocket scientist, I just simply can't think of a single government program that works as originally intended. 2. Onto the schooling. I've known for awhile that the US has fallen pretty far in the ranks when it comes to our childrens education. I'm curious if there is a chart showing how much we pay for our kids education vs other countries. I searched and couldn't find anything. My assumption is that we pay the most(with maybe Japan spending more) and are getting far less. Though that is purely my assumption, and I could be WAY off. I just really want to know. Again, not really trying to start a polical war, just curious about the above. Though will be perfectly happy to debate anything political. Opinions are surely not something I'm lacking.
