  1. I am a Droid fan (But tried the IOS thing with a iPhone 4 a while ago).. I use a corporate tool made by VMware called AirWatch and it is a pig. Will purchase the new Note 5 as it will have a real 64 Bit processor and the larger screen (App need and my phreaking eyes need the larger screen).. GL with the decision..
  2. Looked this morning and registration is closed (No joy here)..
  3. Same here about a year ago (But a much larger place).. Some of the local vendor gigs are also a good option MDUG - Mid Ohio Data Center Users Group VMUG - VMware Users Group etc. Not to long ago I thought I heard OCLC was looking for a SA (Unsure now). Also Alliance (But again bigger place) GL
  4. Fix that sig (1994 Castle White FD)..
  5. Deer in the road while driving on the freeway (Just a little less speed on the freeway)
  6. Even with the Z4M I still miss tinkering / driving the FD. Good luck and awesome purchase. If I buy again (Most likely), I want a 94 model and prefer a base model like this one.. White would actually be my preference (My old one was a SSM like you deceased one). GL with the cleanup and build out..
  7. The ReX (RX7) put down 400 RWHP and about 320 trq. For that light of a car it was nice (Would have liked to had another 50 - 100). The additional HP was not realistic without additional pinning on the motor and did not. Assume most of this discussion really comes down to HP/Trq to weight ratios.. My old car was just under 2700 lbs.
  8. Mark - Saw the C6 when I was up at IPS a while back and it was nice / in pieces: Suggest: Old mod pics old / new motor Assume lots'O' other toys installed = Still jealous with my measly 334HP at the flywheel Maybe one of these years I will send motor out with "forced induction" aspirations
  9. Get new turbo (Need more CFM) Add boost controller (With HKS - AIC) Put down 300 AWD plus HP N-joy Good luck with the Subi - Last one had was in the 90's (No idea how good/bad they are today)
  10. I think the cabin filters came in to play around 2000 (Daughters car was hit or miss according to the owners manual). Joe the FD does not have one so you are OK. You other B-stards will need to replace them at some time.. As mentioned above it does help with some of the odd smells that tend to creep into the newer cars (Unsure if this is really related to running the AC or not a couple minutes after stopping). My 2006 Tundra waz crusty last year when I replaced it. Assume every 2-3 years even with a clean freak like me..
  11. Agreed Foundations V3 certified too. Just glance @ your materials before you take the test. It was not hard (Mid 90's score here and the ones I missed were stupid mistakes)..
  12. Always liked the GN's and the GNX's were even nicer. Its a shame they are still just an Olds Cutlass everywhere else. Look at the one pic with the center console and the double Din radio stack. Still love a good turbo'ed six cylinder and this one was one of the best for the time(s). One of these years I will go forced induction again and maybe a six instead of a wankle (Maybe).
  13. IPS did a bang up job for me on the RX7 (Turbo back with a Metal substait high flow cat). Worked well until I sold it (The guy messed with it and installed a different turbo and flange). Reasonable price wise too!!
  14. Saw one of these in Black on Gas Monkey. They had a prototype and stole the drive train out of it for a 1971 Challenger (Prototype was to be crushed as it was not production). Very cool and congrats!
  15. Trish, We do the asparagus in the oven the same way (standard 12x14 glass dish) and we coat with olive oil and sea salt when done. 400 and about 11 minutes if I recall frome the last time..

Don't forget you will be able to remove a lot of the boatware too based off the tech rags/news. Maybe a 32 Gig version will work for me (I am off contract in about a month with my older S4). Plus the 64 bit processor should help with some of my woes with the phone freezing up. The mail client we deploy (Yes BYOD) is Airwatch and beats up my phone pretty well.
  17. Kind of agree with Kickass / Chris. If they dump the F&F rear wing and tame down some of the wheel flares. The 306 HP motor in a light Honda not bad.
  18. Most modern amps will run 2/4 ohm fine (Agreed) and remember you will need to compensate with the gain control for the speakers running at half the impedance. I have always liked the Pioneers (I have a similar one in the Z4M). Sorry no experience with Blaupunkt amps (Always used Alpine or Linear versions) GL with the install and I am sure you will like it a lot over the stock one in the truck.
  19. If you are not planning on the Sub I would move as much air as possible with 6X9's (Agreed 6.5 components are nice). I also like the mid grade Infinity speakers and suggest those for the both locations Craiglist guy has a good looking used set of 6.5's and 6x9's (Do now know this person from Adam) http://columbus.craigslist.org/ele/4862332943.html Tweeters in the dash would be nice (Right in the face off the windshield - but then would require additional wiring) Small Alpine amp would work (mrp-f300 would be fine and available used or new just about everywhere) Just my two cents
  20. Nice looking LR. I do not know why I have always wanted to pick up a LR Freelander and drop in a different drive trane. The motor/transmissions are problematic and would be fun to drop in a 3800 V6 maybe even forced (GN like). Either way enjoy the Jungle car/SUV..
  21. Andy - I will take it.. Just picked up a nice 10 inch type R in a ghetto box. Let me know when you are available to exchange $$ and meet..
  22. My first was a 1964 Chevy II Azure blue sporting a 194 CI inline six. Not a hard top Tiny 13 inch wheels Bench seat Previously a grandma's car Was hit by a semi truck Miss that car..
  23. Doing a quick search the factory radio was a double Din and most were a cassette player. Unsure if you are trying to get back to stock or save a couple $$. Option#1 Aftermarket Would highly suggest grabbing a decent CD player and some reasonable speakers. A simple pioneer (Deck & speakers) would keep pricing down and still provide reasonable sound. Plenty of local audio shops that will drop in the combo above for a reasonable price.. Wet Audio Columbus Car Audio Option #2 - Stock If you are going stock I found a shop they refurbishes Ford radios that can be installed in the Lightning. http://oem-auto-accessory.com/factory_ford_radios.html Obviously if you are looking for 115 Db's trash the all the above and pull out your wallet.
  24. Mike, I would serioulsy reach out to one of the local RX7 shops. The "E" shaft and the cooling are critical in a three and even more so in a quad rotor configuration. Plus that monster would be loooooong. Make sure you don't have to extend the front of the car to get it to fit (Or sit in the back seat). The RX8 has a shorter snout than the RX7. Local shops Defined Auto works (Logan Carswell) Zavier (Was RX7 Store now.......) Carswell Rotary (Logan's dad) Others?? Not saying it isn't possible, but it will be stinking expensive.. 30 K for a three rotor sounded more of the norm and using a Cosmo 3 rotor. Plus the decision about turbo / not has to be made before you build the motor (High compression or lower compression dorito's / Rotors).
  25. I used to work on the Mooney's (Cesna & Beech too - Avionics) and was always impressed with the people that pulled up in a Porcshe's and flew these aircraft. The cool thing was the early (Unsure about the later ones) had lightly changed / modified Porcshe engines. Also agree w/Clay it is sad to see the US loosing so much of the manufacturuing business as this is where we learned / created so many items (Really a Porsche motor in an aircraft). Now thy are powered by diesels (Not what attracted early Av people) and wonder if this will help the marketing or hurt it. The composite fuselage is interesting, but I have not spent much time in that area for over 20 years.
