  1. 3 phase is typically installed for efficiency (When you have a location that supports it) We bought an older wave soldering machine (15 years ago) and only had std 220/240 in the building. So we built a capacitor start three phase motor that generated power we needed. As the machine was a power whore I did not like starting the electric motor and was always afraid it would go nuclear (Was a monster and was a big as a small V8). If you do not have 3 phase available @ the location go with std 220/240 volts stuff. Back then it cost about 500 to build the converter and unsure if it would be more today (We also used am old motor).
  2. I liked garage #14 and about 1 quintillion/bazillion dollars to fill it with what I like.. Couple very nice cars/estates. Nothing I can see myyself buying in my lifetime.. But fun and appreciate the work day distraction.
  3. Should have bought the GT4088 from Eric W (Oh well)
  4. Pulled out the Rex (FD) yesterday and washed her off. Really made me mad I did not put the $$ / effort into getting her running this year. She needed a new turbo (Single preferrably oil/water cooled) and new struts/springs. http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad272/Bullet66_photos/IMG_0115.jpg Will be making the decision this Winter as to going LSX or fixing the turbo and getting her going for Spring.. Guess this is what happens when you have a daughter in college and funds that are not so great..
  5. Would like to put this one next to my old Precision GT3561S to see if it would fit. Let me know what time you have available in the next couple nights (After 6:00 please). Thanks Dave 614-570-6276 (Cell)
  6. Sams sells one that includes a top & bottom box. Had mine for about 4 years (Love it).. Mine was the stainless model (Holding up as well as my old Snap On bottom box)
  7. Very nice looking FC/S5.. Curious how long it took you to retofit the LSX into the car. Seriously thinking pulling the 13BREW and going NA/V8. Let me know.. Had 5 FC's loved all of them until I get the 3rd gens and tried modding. Seem to to great with simple mods, then you want more and bang (Or detonation). Looks great again!!!
  8. Sweet Mary Cakes - Used her for simple Valentines stuff (White chocolate) as well as cake stuff. Great person to work with and very good eats. http://www.sweetmarycakes.com 614-878-6789
  9. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to minor (Or major) in Information Technology. Tons of jobs and probably the least hit segment in the market. All it takes is a desire to make more and some moving around a little (Locally) and it should do you well. Just my 2 cents
  10. And I thought you were hunting a new Mustang 5.0 http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/m5lp_1003_2011_ford_mustang_gt_50_coyote_engine/index.html
  11. Got to be a fail (You were eating Litle Ceasars) Great #'s
  12. Agreed hot girl (See pic below) but agree no kids a must.. http://stupidcelebrities.net/2011/07/06/vivid-entertainment-offers-casey-anthony-porn-job/
  13. Anyone looked @ the Dedia watches yet? Found one out on Property room (Yes .com) and they look really nice.. 50 mm Chrono/Swiss/Rubber-Stainless band
  14. Onlly have three of them down in Grove City (Assume too far away). If not let me know. Dave
  15. Rented one of the big cabins about 5 years ago and never saw a thing. I think the one part you brought up is true stay away from them and they will of you. Make sure to get out and rent the quads and hit the river (They call it white water, but it isprettyy "g" rated.
  16. Need some for the bedroom ceiling. Any chance you have that many? Yes that was a joke.. gl selling
  17. Appreciate the clarification and was concerned it was a problem with the motor/drivetrain.. Your reply was about the quality of work (Or lack of) on the build listed above.. Thanks!!!
  18. Would love to see someone try the Datsun 1600 with a V8 powerplant. The one below has a 289 in it (Assume a LSX will too) and love the body style too. http://www.datsun.org/roadster/gallery/owners2.php
  19. Both of you work @ the same place and completely different opinions. Got to love it.. Agreed on the Bebop's build. Was looking for a cost effective build and one that would be a good fit for autocrossing.. Since it is a truck motor it should be great for torque and being a toyota it should last a while (Did I mention I had a 2000 Tundra and own a 2006 now too). Both were/are the 4.7 2UZFE motors.
  20. Just found a build (Way more than I want to spend) on a guy doing one in a Supra. Nutty/crazy build.. Still reading it.. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/mkiv-discussion/23708-pics-my-4-7l-tt-build-up-mkiv-swap.html
  21. I have a 1993 Mazda RX7 and have been thinking about going piston.. Lots of people doing LSX swaps, but wondered about the Toyota/Lexus swap for a 2UZFE (4.7 in a couple SUV/trucks). Facts about the motor Seems to be mostly aluminum 270HP/340 Tq Want to autocross it again (Miss it) Opinions?? Know of anyone that has used this motor in anything else?
  22. Just read an article on Winding Road comparing the RX8 the MS3 and MX5 (Freaking numbers I know). They awarded the MX5 (Miata) the win, but one of the judges loved the RX8. Most of the NA Rotaries are rock solid and have had many of them (4 NA and 4 Turbo). My favorite is still my Third Gen, but damn they are expensive to keep alive.. * As stated above the RX8 has one of the best suspensions on the market (Without going to crazy) Enjoy the read http://www.windingroad.com/articles/...urce=email-133
  23. Dash looks like a Second Gen, but confused about the 3.8L comment. Is this something other than a 13B (Maybe with a periperal port)? Miss the simplicity of my second gen RX7's (Had 4 of them).
  24. I had a 2000 tundra that I installed Bosch platinum plus in and they destroyed the coils. Were you running the stock plugs? Never installed anything in my Yota's other than NGK's after that (Not cheap)
  25. My first car was a 1964 Deuce and had too much fun with it. Can't imagine why someone would install a floor shifter in a car with a 193 cubic inch motor. For me to spin the tires it had to be in gravel and wet. Either way great looking car (Mine was blue on blue) and good luck with the sale. They did not introduce a V8 to these cars until 1965.
