  1. i lived in tampa, it was fun while it lasted. summers are unbearable there.
  2. YOU'RE right, you are a douche. just saying. welcome to the site, can't see the pics at work--can someone describe them to me??
  3. you honestly think a rwd geo would be 'baller'?? i thought it was impossible to use the words 'geo' and 'baller' in the same sentence--apparently, i'm wrong. and you haven't done squat to the car-- it is typically not well-received on this site, to say "i'm going to run circles around you", when you have nothing but dreams and silly-talk (and not anything that resembles a remotely fast vehicle at the moment) just a public service anouncement
  4. +1 the other driver was not injured--actually, there was probably less damage to her car (passenger door, fender, mirror, and rear taillights) then mine.
  5. hi alex, welcome to the site. never mind all the 'haters' on this site. i just wanted to invite you to a 'car meet' that we're having this weekend. its going to be located at the bottom of the scioto river--looking forward to seeing your car there. kirk
  6. no shit. the snow just doesn't melt here at all--it just stays here--they have to remove it with front end loaders
  7. everyone knows the '04 cobras were/are much better.
  8. well, i joined the wrecked car crew ('05 explorer) today. some idiot turned left right in front of me from the oncoming lane this afternoon just as the light turned yellow. i hit the brakes (abs), slid, turned the wheel to try to avoid hitting her, and broadsided her anyways--knocked her into another car as well. surprised my airbag didn't go off---i damaged my front bumper headlights/foglights, driver's side fender, hood, maybe driver's front door--and i spun her 180 degrees into my rear driver's side door. she accused me of being at fault?? said she had the right of way and was already in the intersection when i hit her---moron. at least the car i knocked her into corroborated my story. she got cited, and apparently has insurance, so i should be in the clear. female drivers. thing is, i even slowed down as i approached the intersection because i saw her inch out just a bit--doubt i could have stopped even with dry pavement.
  9. welcome to the site. love the '85. 12 flat is a great time for 320rwhp

i'm assuming you don't have kids--they will take all your car modding money
  11. just got it, and stopped it while they were planning the movie premier--it was a bit slow for me, but i'll hopefully finish it tonight. pulp fiction is his best work--period. reservoir dogs has to be up there. i actually liked jackie brown. anyone ever notice that mr. blond (vic vega) from res. dogs, is travolta's (vincent vega) brother?? or figure out that bruce willis is the one who keys travolta's car in pulp fiction??
  12. welcome. careful on that bike.

trim needs cleaned up a bit, and a few coats of paint. gutter is sagging just a bit, but other than that--clean house. welcome
  14. this post just made me lol good times at twin valley. i'll never forget watching some manic looney literally dropkick another inpatient during 'music time' in the face. i can't imagine what it'd be like to be around those people all day every day.
  15. what the fuck is a "dsm" by the way??
  16. +1 i haven't read all the posts here, but i don't sell many things because i don't like situations like this, and i don't want people near my house--period. if you agree to a price, and agree to sell to a certain person, stick with it---if you don't want to commit to this, then tell the prospective buyer that you can't guarantee the item won't be sold in the meantime. if people have offered you more, than you know you'll have no problem selling the item if the first guy flakes out. somewhere on some other forum, this guy is making a rant about some guy in columbus who (for all he knows) was falsely elevating the price of his item after a verbal agreement to try to milk more money out of him---he has no idea that you actually had buyers offering more. this is a common practice used on ebay to elevate the price of an item using 'fake' buyers. just some food for thought--i'd want the most money out of an item i was selling too--but its not worth making enemies over--especially if this person knows you, or where you live
  17. its a lot less than $20k. and the overall success rate is just north of 50% when you take all comers into account
  18. probably get rid of my gto and '87 for one of these---we'll see
  19. congrats on both accounts. i will definitely want my kids involved in at least one organized high school sport/activity.
  20. went to school (college) near middletown. nothing but redneck hicks there. carry on
  21. we're buying a big house--that's all. kids got way too many toys
  22. tons of different factors. i can remember reciting the four 'f's in grad school to remind myself of the most common people to get them fat female (gender) fertile (someone who's had multiple kids) forty (years old)
  23. maybe you're right my car has hoodpins as well, that i put on when i put the cobra badges on in 2000. interesting how someone's tastes change over time. today, i'd never put the badges or hood pins on--too lazy to take the badges off, and can't really undo the hoodpins.
  24. clean car, i have no problems with cobra emblems on foxes. my '87 has cobra emblems- welcome
