  1. fuck, i miss yanni's. akai hanna (spelling?) as stated above paul's pantry on grandview and fifth--for breakfast starliner cafe on cemetery road (always get the special) burgers---ted's montana grill, thurman st. cafe steaks--morton's, hyde park on the cap, mitchell's downtown, j. alexanders on 23, smith&wolensky bar food---rooster's big portions, overall good time every time--champps tons i'm forgetting about, i miss columbus food--you guys have no idea how lucky you are with restaurants
  2. do you mean the end of the world in helltown, up by boston mills/brandywine ski resorts?? i grew up 10 mins from there and we used to go there all the time in high school
  3. we have an '05 with 55k miles and its a piece of shit. its a 4wd eddie bauer with the 4.6 liter. we've replaced the coil packs, 4 rusted out calipers, pass. side window motor 3 times, shorted out starter, oxygen sensors, and the rear plastic panel below the glass is well-known to crack. just minor irritating shit, nothing real major i guess. still have the stock tires. its slow as balls
  4. one man's garbage is another man's................................... complete pile of worthless shit.
  5. good read. i was one year old--my dad tells stories of being stuck on the freeway for 8 hours
  6. i'll update this thread in about two months. we're buying a house with a large detached garage, and i'm having the floor professionally painted with epoxy. apparently, the proper way to do it is to shot-blast the floor first so that the epoxy adheres properly. this company that's doing it has a 10 year warranty on their work. it's not cheap either. my father in law used material from this site, and has been happy http://www.superfloorcoat.com/?gclid=CKigsYLK-J8CFRDyDAod7RnOVg
  7. no real huge regrets yet. i've only sold two cars so far:: --1990 7-up mustang lx 5.0 vert. was in shitty condition, bought it for $3,500. sold it 5 years later after only putting less than 5k miles on it for $2200, after sinking about a grand into it. it had rust, was an auto, with 2.73 gears --'99 sentra sold last year for $2,500 with 115k miles on it. mechanically perfect car with everything working on it--wife made me sell it, no huge regret. --'90 grand prix. my grandfather helped me buy it after college (in 1999) as a daily driver for $3,000 with 75k miles on it. after maintaining it beautifully, and fixing a head gasket at 150k miles, my wife demanded i get rid of it (let me get the gto just to get rid of the grand prix). i gave it to my grandfather, and he absolutely loves it. he's driven it for the last 3 years and it has worked flawlessly for him our '05 explorer kind of sucks, i'd love to trade it in on something better, but its paid off.
  8. welcome. great intro. i lived 10 minutes from busch gardens in tampa last year. no crazy coasters there, but still a decent park.
  9. good intro. keep the car near stock if you ask me. "daily driver", and "custom turbo kit" don't go in the same sentence. unless that sentence is "i have a nice, reliable daily driver AND another car which has a custom turbo kit on it." there you go kindest regards kirk
  10. tell them the bike is not going to bring their son back---and to fuck off.
  11. no care here. looks like the previous charger, which looks horrible as well

  13. i had not considered that. interesting
  14. no team that's in a position to immediately win a championship can afford james. the cavs have been very close the last couple years. if he goes to another team, it will most likely be a step backwards, and require several years to build up a championship caliber team

    I'm a Dad!

    welcome to the madness.
  16. "what in god's holy name are you blathering about" jeff lebowsky its much, much less than $1200 for 5 hours when you subtract malpractice insurance, paying the office staff, etc. the average physician is also anywhere from 7-10 years behind a typical college graduate when it comes to years of earning power. add to that nearly $200k in school loans. physicians don't get rich by any means.
  17. clean car, good intro. welcome to the site.

shit, if i depended on the government to help me support my family---i certainly wouldn't be galavanting around an internet forum dedicated to car enthusiasts. i'd be out WORKING to provide for my family. just a brief thought
  19. nothing good can come out of this thread, or anything related to it. probably best to just wipe this one clean and move on completely like nothing ever happened. both parties go their separate ways and forget the other existed. columbus is a pretty big city.
  20. i'd be 'mad at the world' too, if i fired a rivet gun all day.
