thanks. i wouldn't say my form is perfect, but it is what i've been using for the past 12-15 years.

if i remember that episode correctly, didn't that cheese eating faggot take the f-150 to look at various types of bread?? i can't stand that whiny bitch.

my max was never impressive given my weight at the time (240's) and the # of times i could throw 225 around--most i ever did was 405, just to say i put 4 plates on each side. i never really went above 315, and i could do that 12-15 times at my peak. i never had a spotter--just would work out by myself or with my wife, so i never pushed the limit. now, i just want to avoid getting hurt, while trying to get in some kind of shape (besides round).

nothing so far, been behind the wheel for almost 16 years. knock on wood.

wow, brush your teeth, drink (fluorinated) tap water, get cleanings twice a year, and x-rays of your mouth--that's difficult. if you want, i can help limit osteosarcoma deaths (common type of bone cancer)--every kid in america aged 8-30 can come to my office for skeletal x-rays, and bone scan every 6 months---see, i've helped prevent one type of cancer out of the 1000's of types out there. now, i just need an insurance company to pay for this, the parents to bring their kid in every 6 months, and an office staff of 100 to accommodate this. but according to your definition, this is not prevention--it is early detection. i need help developing something to put in our tap water to cleanse our system and prevent all types of illness/cancer/etc.

i guess we'll see. i don't see myself supporting foreign car companies--ever. the next two (new) cars we will buy are going to be gm products. i've had good luck with american cars--my grandpa still daily drives my old 155k mile '90 grand prix---and average luck with jap cars (my wife has had 2, and i currently beat on her '99 sentra).

the tampon should be located in the first aid kit, just to the left of the midol. honestly, people on this site (and all the auto sites i'm on) are incredibly demanding of auto makers. the average american does not want 400hp, they just don't care if the bottom end of a car is built to handle 700hp. they're looking for decent power, GOOD GAS MILEAGE, tons of amenities, low maintenance, competitive pricing, and styling. i think the car in question has all of the above---better than average styling for ford, power, gas mileage, amenities. as for reasonable price and low maintenance--those are the only unknowns. that being said, my wife's exact words were "there's no way we will ever own a fucking taurus"
-
holy shit, listen to all the fags in this thread, bitching like a group of fucking women. 350hp twin turbo six, and ford taurus--who would have ever though the two would be linked?? yet we've got everyone and their mother in this thread bitching about price and torque steer--you guys should be asking whether or not the fucking first aid kit in the glove box contains a tampon or not. who here has a blown, 350hp, all-wheel drive DAILY DRIVER, with the amenities listed below?? "Taurus features a long list of high-tech features, including: Adaptive Cruise Control with Collision Warning, Intelligent Access with Push Button Start, MyKey parental programmability, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross Traffic Alert, Rain-Sensing Wipers, EasyFuel capless refueling, Ford SYNC and Voice-Activated Navigation with SIRIUS Travel Link" i rest my case--a step in the right direction if you ask me.

sure, we should focus on prevention, and figure out how to prevent our bodies' immune systems from failing us, etc. but you and i both know the general public is not interested in prevention--no one sees a doctor unless something is wrong.

almost 32 years old 5'10" down from 247lbs to 225lbs bench-- 225lbs for 28-31 reps 275lbs for 14-16 reps 315 for 7-8 reps those are the max reps i can do for each weight--my average routine is 135X10, 185X12, 225X13, 275X13-16, and 225X20-25 incline-- 120lb dumbbells for 8-10 military press 100lb dumbbells for 7-10 reps no squats, no deadlifts back when i worked out every day (and weighed more, i could hit 225lbs for 43 reps. no e-lying here. did one cycle of creatine in college, but never anything else--no protein, no bullshit creams, pills, etc. i'd gladly trade positions with someone who naturally weighs 180lbs no matter what they eat, and is of completely average build.

rofl at this thread. it is true that there are certain rare diseases that pharmaceutical companies/scientists could possibly develop a cure for, but there is not enough money in it for them to spend the $$ on research and development for a medication that would not come close to paying for itself. that is not corruption, or sneakiness in any way, shape, or form---its called MONEY, and it makes the world go round. companies are dying to find a cure for AIDS--the amount of money they could make, and notoriety they could have by attaching their company's name to a cure would be incredible. believe what you want, but some guy claiming he found a cure for 'cancer' is among one of the most insane things i've ever heard. i don't know what disturbs me more, that statement or the fact that people (here) actually believe this garbage. i know a fair amount about 'bone cancer'---there are over 50 types, and each type may have several subsets. each type, and subset attacks the body in a unique manner, and the treatment/prognosis is very specific for each type. we are currently able to cure some types of cancer, but with vastly different medications, surgeries, etc. so to say that one guy has developed a cure for 'cancer', when some of the smartest people in our country are developing stepwise advances in the treatment in a subset of a subset, of a certain type of bone cancer---well, you get the picture. imagine an auto mechanic giving you a fuel additive and telling you that it will fix everything wrong with your car (transmission leaks, rust, a broken window motor, and a tear in your driver's seat). that's what this claim sounds like to me.

used H&R block---cost around $400. i just don't have the time/patience to use one of the computer programs. also, i end up having to fill out tons of forms with all the deductions that i have for work/travel/etc. i don't mind paying $400, when i can get my taxes done in 1 hour instead of 4-6 hours.
-
yeah, i pay just under $100 per month for insurance---and then spend $4k trying to piece together a solid rear end.

i have one of these, and its not nearly as fun as the cobra. it makes a great daily driver, but it just takes too much away from the car to really make power. there's a guy down here with longtubes, intake, cam, etc. on a GTO, and he gets absolutely abused by an upper pulley only cobra. and clean f-bodies are becoming difficult to find. i'm not brand-biased either, i'll have a vette in the driveway some day soon, and i love my GTO.

check out svtperformance.com there are tons of them for sale on that site, and most of them are reasonably priced. you will get a good idea what the market is like for them. also, they tend to be more well-maintained, then if you randomly saw one on a used car lot--those are the ones to avoid.

i prescribe it all the time, at least not DARVON, but darvocet, which contains tylenol, along with the narcotic component propoxyphene. feeling 'out of place', or confused, or completely 'spaced out' is the most common side effect of narcotic pain medication in general, aside from itching. and all narcotic pain medication has the full potential to become addicting. i prescribe it to people i've just operated on. the problem is when doctors just start prescribing it for bullshit reasons.

pros-- un-matched gains with very simple pulley swaps. catback, intake, pulley, tune, plugs, and you've got 450-470 rwhp and equal torque. bottom end is 'bomb-proof', and can withstand 700rwhp without much problem given the proper tune, and fuel. these cars are fairly rare, and will get you attention. big aftermarket with tons of aftermarket blower options. many of these cars are adult owned, and have not been tortured. they can get down to 3300lbs with light seats, big/skinny tire combo, solid rear end, and tubular k-member (350lbs weight loss). they also love spray. web support from svtperformance, and modularfords is every bit as good as ls1 sites cons-- 3650lbs (coupe). IRS will only take so much launching abuse, and will not tolerate wheel hop. with big power, and launching, you will need a better clutch and transmission input shaft. blower makes TONS of heat--heatsoak with back-to-back highway runs can blow the motor--avoid boosting into 5th gear (over 145mph), without the head cooling mod. many of these cars tend to run poorly at the dragstrip for several reasons::: 1)its so easy and cheap to make massive power, that owners neglect upgrading the suspension, and other key components to run fast 2) they're heavy 3) not as easy to launch with the IRS.

i bought mine brand new off the showroom floor in '04 for around $31k. i've got about $8k in mods, and 600rwhp at my disposal anytime i want to use it--with a completely stock long block. the car is quiet (stock headers, and high flow cats), has ice-cold A/C, and a glass smooth idle. i suck at drag racing, but others with my set-up run low 11's. with a solid rear, and some weight loss (lighter seats, big/skinny tire combo) the car would be good for high 10's. the stock clutch has been seeing 600rwhp for about 2 years with no sign of letting up---maybe i just drive the car like a pussy. i've got about $4k wrapped up in a solid rear that i'm putting together, and am considering buying an automatic, and a mammoth kenne bell kit. i'm hesitant to do too much more because the car is so much fun to drive right now as it sits--it drives like a completely stock car, and is completely reliable. i only have 16k miles on it though, and it never sees rain.

one in tampa, one in columbus, and looking for more

buy one from the south and get it shipped up north. i've been lurking around, looking at some of the local foxbodies for sale down here, and they are all rust-free.

remember the old guy with the goat that got all bent out of shape?? i'll look for the thread.

like big steve says, you have to travel a bit to get what you want. when i was in the market for one, the dipshit at haydocy wouldn't even let me test drive one---it was a 2006 model with less than 100 miles, and i was there halfway through 2007--it had been on the lot forever. all their used LS2's were going for $25-26k and had 30k miles on them. one week later, i had purchased a goat with 1/3 the miles for $21k. i showed it to the salesman when i took it to get a spare key made.
-
only high mileage ones, which i would avoid. most still go for $20k, give or take.
