check out svtperformance.com and modularfords.com i have the pulley set-up from doug at billetflow. check out billetflow.com, and get their pulleys, and idlers. if you're dead set on keeping the eaton, and want to get the most boost then buy a 2.93" blower pulley, with a 4lb crank pulley. buy the idler kit from doug and the snub idler as well (gives you more belt wrap on the blower pulley). you will need a bigger alternator pulley, so you don't fry the alternator by spinning it too fast. don't forget colder plugs (NGK TR6's), and less plug gap. get an SCT tuner, a new blower belt, and give brian at dynotune motorsports a call for some dyno time. avoid mail-in tunes. they are inaccurate. plenty of blown motors from mail order tunes. also, your fuel pumps/injectors might be ok at that level, but maybe not. once you get near 475-500rwhp, you need to think about a boost-a-pump (or twin ford GT pumps), 60lb injectors, and a bigger mass air capacity. if you want to 'just get your feet wet', go with a 2.76" blower pulley, the snub idler, and the idler kit from billetflow (replaces all the stock stamped pulleys, which are known to randomly grenade for no reason). plugs, SCT tuner, and some dyno brian time and you'll be at 450-460 rwhp and tq. you can reuse the stock blower belt length with that set up. here's a pic of my car with that exact set up. i ported the blower and made 505 rwhp, but needed injectors, boost a pump, and mass air to get there. you can see how much more belt wrap is produced by the 'snub idler'. billetflow pulleys are 'hands down' the best out there. http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/8508/s35000132je.jpg the 2.76 pulley is really the smallest you can get and reliably have no issues with belt slippage on the blower. instead of going with a 2lb crank pulley to get around 525 rwhp, i just went with the whipple. another member on this site has my old blower and can attest to the power of a ported/pullied eaton--they scream like no other

tell them to look for the house with the unbelievably offensive looking piece of rusted out shit parked in front of it, so they don't get lost

just keep his car. don't give it back to him. i'm still not 100% sure what's going on here

incredible

very easy, i bought my GTO from wisconsin almost 2 years ago, and went to the superstoreDMV on west broad. they checked the VIN if i remember correctly, and that was it

sounds like a good deal. these cars are coming down in price as people are panicking over the economy. plenty of issues to look out for, but with 9k miles, and unmodded, you can't go wrong. mine just turned 16k miles, and it still has a new car interior smell

first: sorry for your loss. i know how hard it is to lose a loved one. what the doctor apparently did, makes no sense. if you're sure you have ALL the details, and it happened exactly as you say, then by all means seek legal counsel. pretty much anyone who ever hints at any amount of shortness of breath in any reasonable medical office, is automatically told to go to the emergency department--period. they're not given a medication that is known to cause DVT's and subsequently pulmonary emboli, which is what sounds like happened. medicine is not an exact science. we don't have all the answers. sometimes you have to understand that we can't prevent everything. perfectly healthy people die each year in the united states due to birth control--especially women in their upper 30's who smoke---its a risk of taking the medication that is printed all over the box. like i said, if it occurred exactly as you say, it sounds like the doctor was negligent. i nearly lost my wife to an obstetric complication, where we lost the baby--it was due to a mistake that was made by the radiologist who read her ultrasound when she went the ER with bad abdominal pain. we had difficulty getting pregnant for some time, and ended up spending BIG $$ to get pregnant. i didn't sue because i felt the mistake was an honest one, but it was definitely a mistake--and the hospital subsequently changed the way they read ultrasounds as a result. again, sorry for your loss. if there is clear negligence on the doctor's part, and you feel that they acted recklessly, then by all means go forward with a lawsuit. if you feel it was an honest mistake, then don't sue. honest mistakes are made every day in this field-----they have grave consequences, unfortunately. doctors are only human, but are often held to unreasonable standards imo-- kirk

s2000 needs a bigger fart can. other than that, welcome -
just so long as they're still making vettes over the next year, i don't care what happens. my dad was a salaried metalurgical engineer at ford in brookpark ohio (helped manage the piston pin department on the duratec line of motors), and some of the stories he told me about the hourly guys, and the union guys are amazing, simply amazing. he found areas inside giant industrial shelves where guys had built forts with beds in there so they could sleep, and countless other stories of complete laziness.

autobadges.com is where i bought mine from. not sure what applications they have--it might be only for mustangs??

thanks for the comments guys. i don't really see a problem with the vinyls. unless you inspect the car closely, you'd swear they were painted---and its reversible. i have the 50% tint, as opposed to the completely blacked out version. and i paid around $50 if i remember correctly--not too much money.

+1 welcome. i'm over there quite a bit.

definitely NOT a good idea http://www.cracked.com/article_15683_10-creepiest-craigslist-casual-encounters.html

mine are the decals (vinyl i think) that are applied to the taillights. i spent the money to get quality ones and they turned out perfect--and obviously are easily reversed back to stock http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii296/LowLevelP08/Kirk-Cobra-007.jpg

you should have AT LEAST 3 months of money set aside that you guys could live off of in an emergency situation, if for some reason, you were getting zero income. prepare for the unexpected--major medical expenses, injuries, furnace/air conditioning taking a shit, car breaking, etc. you may end up having to step back to square one, and totally redo your budget. think long term----kids, life insurance, retirement i took a massive pay cut this year to get one more year of training, when i could have been easily earning another zero at the end of each paycheck----with young twins, a third on the way, and a wife who doesn't work outside of the home, you could imagine the financial planning that went into this year so that we would be o.k. good luck
