racing or not, the fleeing is basically admiting guilt. one of my old high school buddies was leaving a high school baseball game (he graduated college with me, and became a high school teacher as well as football/baseball coach), to go to get ice cream, and hit a 2-3 year old who ran out into the street. he was going the speed limit, paying attention, just nothing he could do. he stopped, tried to help, but the child died. he received no charges, but that will be on his conscience forever--he lost about 30 pounds after the accident, and still is not the same even 4 years later.

very interesting info

HA!!!! or you should see your doctor to make sure the migraine does not represent a more serious condition. many medications do the same thing as the above mentioned, but are just more efficacious.
-
pretty much all wrong in the above paragraph. pharmacists know more about meds, and their interactions. and they know that once a patient is diagnosed with "X", then they should be given "Y"--but they know very little about all the steps in between (physical exam, ordering lab tests, etc.). and MRSA was inevitable from the beginning. bacteria evolve at an incredible rate, and can adapt to survive through any medication. now there's VRSA, and there will be many more cycles of resistant bacteria. you honestly think chiropractic training is superior to medical school training with respect to anatomy, biology, and physiology?? wow, is about all i can say to that. i have no chip on my shoulder against chiros--i really don't think they take any of my patients away--i do total hip and knee replacements, some trauma, and some general orthopedic surgery. the simple fact of the matter is that when someone has a back strain, over 99% of the time it will get better in a short period of time regardless of what you do. so when the chiro does a manipulation, and the patient gets better in a few days, they assume their problem was fixxed by the chiro, when all they had to do was nothing at all. i don't claim to have all the answers--my advice was to follow the ENT surgeon's recommendations

perfect response.

you don't need to prescribe medications, because you're not trained to do so, and you don't actually see sick people in your 'clinic'. what you see is people who have general msculoskeletal complaints, and you manipulate them (and their wallets). when was the last time you treated a life threatening infection with your holistic approach?? have you ever treated a MRSA infection?? what would you do if someone walked into your clinic with a broken wrist?? have you ever sewn up a laceration, or do you just have bandaids in your office?? i'm only 2 years younger than you, but have had more (legitimate) training than you will ever have (unless you go back to med school), so i don't think i need your advice, but thanks anyways. any time you want to compare the number of lives you've saved with me, i'm ready. you can tell me all about the time you brought someone back from the brink of death with a shiatsu (spelling?) massage. it IS your fault. if you would have gone to medical school, you could have been the best doctor EVER, only having people pass away of natural causes i'm not a nutritionist (as you probably know), and i don't think you're one either. my advice was to follow the ENT doc's advice. if you want, i can call one of my buddies who just completed his residency and is now working as an ENT surgeon at OSU, and have him tell you why you're completely wrong--but its not worth my time, and yours as you obviously think you have all the answers.

don't be mad just because you're not qualified to prescribe anything more than bad advice.
-
wow, i leave for a week (moving), and the local "expert" starts handing out advice, telling you to drink goat's milk, and have the chiro put your toddler in a headlock to twist/manipulate their neck. follow your doctor's advice, they will not mislead you. if it were as simple as changing your kid's diet, that's what the doctor would recommend.

last week i had the honor of hooding my brother as he graduated from medical school. it was a tremendous honor for both of us. we shook hands, hugged, and as he walked away, i smacked him on the ass (not in a 'homo' type of way either)---the crowd absolutely loved it. i was actually quite impressed with the sheer number of people who showed up to see roughly 200 people graduate. and people DO cheer after every name called

did an incredible job with my GTO and my cobra. the cobra had the usual swirls that come with a black car, and he pretty much got rid of ALL of them-every single swirl-the car looks absolutely amazing. the GTO looks like it rolled right off the showroom floor--even the wheels are completely clean--and those of you who own GTO's know how hard it is to get to the tiny little corners of the stock wheels. he was even able to remove some overspray that the stealership caused under my door when they repainted one of the inner door sills on the car. again, i couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. thanks andy

i would still be down for this, but someone else will have to plan things--i just can't find the time right now, and cannot consistently guarantee that i would be able to show up.

rofl at this thread. rob helped walk me through a head gasket change on my old '90 grand prix that had 150k miles on it. it is still running like a top--i gave it to my grandfather to drive 300 miles per year.

wow, where can i find one of these (sarcasm)?? to the original poster. great collection of cars, and welcome to the site.

relax old man. people are just giving you a hard time, its a 'rite of passage' that is no different whether you're 16 or 60 years old. weather the storm, and people will love you. although GTO's are fairly rare, they're not too rare, as i see quite a few of them around from time to time, and there are at least 8-10 people on this board with GTO's--there were only about 330 or so impulse blue GTO's made with blue interior, but you won't catch me going ultra-nuts over the fact that i own one. keep in mind how many new '06's there were sitting around in dealers' lots. there are not quite as many '03/04 cobras on this board, but they are still here. all in all, relax, show up to some of the meets, and you'll be welcomed with open arms. i'd love to talk about your long-tubes sometime, as that is most likely the next mod on my car, and (for now) i still like wrenching on my own cars (whippled '04 cobra, h/c/i '87 mustang, and catback/intake GTO).
