you think so?? looks like it when lean up top (5500-6500rpms), so i'm not sure how adding fuel will give the car more power--unless there's no timing in it.

yep, that's the difference. i was just curious what difference the extra compression would make. most stock '03/04's dyno anywhere from 355-380rwhp. with catback, intake, that number can go to 400-410rwhp, and with a tune, 430rwhp (best case scenario)--most are probably closer to 415rwhp with catback/intake/tune

its a lot easier to shoot the shit when its light out, and easier as well to kick the ricers out.

i only had 2-3 very minor things go wrong with my cobra while it was under warranty. i've had a few paint issues with my GTO, a rear main leak, faulty seat motor, door lock actuator, and an interior 'issue' as well with the goat. even so, its been a great car in the 8-9 months i've owned it

go with an '05/'06 GTO. my buddy was dead-set on buying an '08 mustang. he took it home, test drove it, showed the wife, etc. etc. he drove it over, and i let him take my '05 GTO out. needless to say the mustang went directly back to the dealer, and he got an '05 CTS-V, which is comparable to the GTO. the '04 GTO's had the LS1, with less hp, but they are cheaper

i'll do some research this week, and see if we can make it happen

how fast does your car have to be to require a helmet, and can anyone let me borrow theirs??? is someone bringing an air compressor, or do they have air there, assuming we lower the tire pressure in our cars?? also, is there going to be a place to store things, like our spare tires/jack, or cooler with ice if we remove them at the track??

i know this idea was mentioned earlier in the year, and i'm looking to see if anyone is still interested in this. we could find different coffee shops around town to meet at between 8 and 10 am on the weekends. i can look for different venues, but i know a good place would be the 'cup-o-joe' coffee shop near campus by champps/AMC lennox area. big parking lot, and not busy at all in the morning. we could rotate by week---central, west, east, north, etc. anyone interested???

i had to clearance the baffle with my ford motorsports 1.6 roller rockers on a stock rocker cover. put some clay on the baffle, screw the rocker cover down without a gasket, and turn the motor over a few times--you'll see just how close it comes. as long as it doesn't come into contact, the cork gasket should give you a little more clearance

my wife took him to the hilliard emergency vet. he's been eating a lot of rocks in our backyard where they're doing construction (80lb golden--2 yrs old), and stopped eating yesterday. he vomitted all day, and we were concerned he had a small bowel obstruction. turns out he doesn't. he stayed overnight at the hospital, and is coming home tonight. found out on the x-ray that he has hip dysplasia, which i suspected by the way he walks every once in a while.

didn't make it out last night. my dog is in the hospital.

yep, i'll make it known when i start the project. like i said, it won't be for a little over a year. i'm guessing it will be over the winter a year from this coming winter--i don't like having the car down over the summer
