  1. if you still have the car in a year, i'll take it. just have no room at all for another car, and i'm not parting with any of the cars i have--but i'll have more room for this in a year.
  2. let it sit for a bit, buy a sub 9.5:1 compression built shortblock, and spray it. you will regret selling the car if you do so.
  3. i may be able to make it, we'll see
  4. no, they don't mess with electrical equipment in hospitals
  5. hal, too bad i can't find a decent solid rear to have you help me install.
  6. unless you live in a busy apartment complex, or on a college campus, a doorbell at 1am is not going to be good. i would have not answered the door, but been ready to shoot whoever broke in, if that's what they were going to do. regardless, sounds like you need to move, orginal poster
  7. +1 sounds like the o.p. needs to move.
  8. do they have enough parking?? if so, let's do it.
  9. my brother shot some pics, i'll get them up hopefully tomorrow

    Saying hello

    definitely a cool car
  11. i'm not part of the crew, but i stopped by.
  12. i would have found her, and called the police. or at least filed a police report. you should still do that. i have a $0 deductible on my comprehensive coverage. you have to file a police report to have your insurance fix the damage if that's what you want. she probably got off scott free
  13. great story on the car
  14. it was great to see some "purpose built" drag cars there. and yes, your car was amazingly loud, and obviously fast
  15. sounds like you need to hire "dog, the bounty hunter" pay-up sickevo ask daddy for some money
  16. it was fun watching you absolutely thrash that thing every time
  17. thanks to everyone who made this happen--i had a great time
  18. i'm pretty sure my next mod is a solid rear and some suspension work. (and some driving practice) 2.2 and 2.3 60' times were killing me.
  19. 60'--2.05 1/4-12.05 mph-123 i don't think i was putting enough heat into the tires, and definitely not launching hard enough. overall, i was pleased--i hadn't been to a track in 8 years, and never with this car
  20. sky looked fine about an hour ago when i was outside, cross your fingers
  21. don't pop it. put neosporin on it, and keep it covered. replace bandage once daily and check for signs of infection. if it starts draining pus, if you start to have fevers, or if the burn develops redness around it (not a small area of redness, but a large area that is red and warm), go to the E.R.
