look at the SBD packages---very cost effective, and good, quality parts. intakes/downpipes/midpipe/fuel injectors/ecutek tune. you'll hear those turbos and wake the car up bigtime. nothing more pleasing then taking off from a light and hitting 60mph in 3 seconds flat. :fuckyeah: as soon as you mess around with more than that, the price to play spikes exponentially--if that's your pleasure, then look at the big name companies

13's have gotten into the 10's stock, with some regularity. The 13's have a slightly improved turbo inlet piping. Just a tune will hit 10's all day. With my set up, I should be able to hit easy mid 10's with the e85 tune, and some stickier rear tires, and the improved launch control software. I ran a pair of 10.81's on my first and only time out with the car last summer with my boltons. Weather was so-so, I didn't use the correct suspension setting, and I had to drive through the water box. Couldn't get the water off the tires all the way and I lost traction at the top of first every time. Still, had all five runs in the 10's, and I'm on a 91 octane tune

Congrats. I've owned mine for a year and 8k miles, and I have zero regrets. Yes, the car is quiet when stock, and you have no idea how fast you're going until you look at the dash I run mine all winter. Bought a set of oem '10 wheels for $1k and 500 mile blizzaks for $800. The car does very well in light snow, and ice. I have very light boltons. Intake piping, injectors, pumps, down pipes, mid pipe. I run cats and a resonator on the mid pipe. Definitely much better sound, but I can still drive on the freeway longer distances with no drone. I have the sbd kit. wait until you've been at the job for 1-2 years before you get nice stuff. as stated, buy the 309 piece craftsman set and augment it with tools as needed from harbor freight. you won't know immediately if you can make a career out of this job---trust me, it takes 1-2 years minimum to get the true feel for what a certain career entails. plenty of people buy a $10k box, and $30k in tools, and end up selling it all for $15k two years later when they get out of it, for whatever reason.

My inspection routine: 1) Take car onto freeway at 70mph and jam on the brakes. Repeat five times. Any brake fade and the deal is off 2) Get car up to 70 mph and take hands off steering wheel for 1/4 mile on a straight section of road. If the car goes off the road and smashes into something, obviously, the deal is off 3) With the car in park put the gas pedal to the floor for five seconds. If the motor blows, the deal is off.
