    The Buster?

uh, no. people like that don't do math. they buy a shitload of nasty pop, and then go back into the store and return whatever doesn't fit. or they jam it into the cab. or they call friends/family (who are not working in the middle of the day, on a weekday) to come help them get it.
  2. i live three hours from chicago. love it. i go a couple times a year for a weekend. tons of nightlife, tons of shopping, shows, nice restaurants, etc etc. i could have saved you the trip to milwaukee and told you that.
  3. Not always. And not in the big cities. After med school you have 3-7 years for residency where you make minimum. Just enough to pay interest if you're lucky.
  4. I had $150k after med school. I got off easy. Public school (osu) and I had some scholarship money there. My brothers wife owes north of $200k. Private med schools will put you $250-300k in the hole. It's fucked up. Thank god my loans are paid off
  5. Rs7 or awd amg merc with the turbo v8 Either of those are my next vehicle Fuck, maybe both
  6. nope. that's a normal response. i see the aftermath of injuries/wipeouts like this, and know how bad they can suck to recover from. it doesn't make these videos any less funny for me.
  7. Very good advice here. Especially the office hours. Professors love it when a student takes interest in the course and asks questions in person durning office hours. This added effort will get you letters of recommendation, references, and likely help finding a job with the right connections. If you are between grades, this will bump you up to the higher grade every time. Enjoy college. It was the best four years of my life. I worked incredibly hard, partied just as hard, and made the most of it. Showing up to class and paying attention is paramount in order to be successful in college Good luck
  8. GTR for sure. you can drive it all season without a single problem. its fun mid-fall being able to lay down a 2.7 sec 0-60 from one stoplight to the next just because you can. you'll be spinning all day long in the caddy and vette. ask me how i know. the GTR is the least comfortable out of the three on your list that i currently own. the caddy being the most comfortable daily i've ever experienced. i just think the caddy will leave you wanting more, even if you mod it. its great for lugging my three kids around. the vette is brutal. but traction is an issue all year round for me. i'd pass on the gallardo, unless you want to mod it. knowing you like to own a fast vehicle, a stock gallardo will not be fast enough for you
  9. I owned one on the freeway a few weeks ago. Guy was weaving like a dick and went to pass me on the right as I was passing another car. I leisurely got up to 120 or so leaving him in the dust. And then sat there for a min or so before realizing he was probably topped out and not gonna get to do any sort of flyby. Lulz. I was in my caddy, eating chipotle.
  10. Congrats on the car Congrats on the beautiful wife
  11. The damage would kill the deal for me on a car of that magnitude
  12. then i'll buy two $4k fox bodies. i'll throw $40k at each one---one will be for the drag strip, and the other will be for the road course. i'll have the best of both worlds, correct? :dumb: see how stupid these money arguments sound. fyi, no one in the market for either of these two cars uses this same mentality. i bought my GTR for $92k last year. would i trade it for a new z28? fuck no. different strokes for different folks. the z28 does not appeal to me. i may opt for a c7z though. i can appreciate the work gm has put into the vehicle and applaud them. we can all agree, this is a damn good time to be a car enthusiast. imagine if you grew up in the late 70's, 80's---it would have largely sucked
  13. +1 good dilemma to have!! congrats andy. let us know what you get
  14. very clean and tasteful. isf is on my list of cars to own.
  15. thanks. this has been two years in the making. the eight years prior, she was normal i kicked her out of the house 5 weeks ago, and we finally have an agreement where we each spend 50% of the time in our house, and the other half in separate apartments. its crazy.
  16. thanks. yes, it sucks right now and i haven't had time or effort to be into cars for a little while
  17. ha, the vette was with my money. but its alright. sucks for the kids, but i've been miserable the last two years. it may sound stupid/selfish, but not even the vette, the GTR, and a new raptor can make up for it i'm pretty sure a year from now i will be o.k.
  18. theres nothing stock about a stock car. nascar has never interested me. i guess i'll have to go to road america this year and watch them run. i should be into it. for some reason, i'm just not
  19. that's the way i'd go. i'm switching to e85 this summer. i already have the injectors and pumps installed---both are a must, to go with corn. that will be plenty---mid 10's all day long without even spilling your starbucks. e85 does not do as well in the cold weather, which is why i'm not running it now. i drive my gtr a couple times a week in wisconsin snow. why not. once you get bigger turbos, the trans and motor (mainly the trans) are on borrowed time. no thanks. maybe if i decide to do the mile events or txkblahblahblah, then i will go all out. but realistically, a mid 10 second car that can be driven anywhere, anytime, even by a woman, is all that i need:fuckyeah:
