I'll wait and see. Sounds promising

Gordon. Damn. This is good for the big 10. He could have had 500 yards easy if he played the whole game. Insanity

While I don't typically condone hitting a woman, she is only genetically a woman. Everything about her behavior screams "wild animal" to me. When you're bouncing at a bar, it's completely different from when you're minding your own business just trying to get home on the subway. Who knows what drugs she was on. I don't give a shit how chivalrous you are. If you can tell me you wouldn't retaliate physically when struck in the back of the head with a spiked heel, I'm calling bullshit. I'm normally calm as a cucumber, but I can tell you with some certainty, I might have hit her with a closed fist in that instance. Thank god I'm never subjected to that type of crowd

depends on what your job is. business casual for my septic system cleaner is quite a bit different from business casual in an office setting. business casual for me, means whatever the fuck i want because i don't really have a boss :fuckyeah: and nothing wrong with a 40 year old single father :lolguy: better to be overdressed than underdressed

Congrats on the new purchase. Also a huge fan of the color. I've heard the quality on those cars is second to none. Interior is so quiet, you might only hear two honks. :gabe: Nothing like going fast with four doors Congrats again

i would primarily use barrett. i would use miller as a halfback who can throw the ball. imagine him taking a direct snap wildcat style, yet throwing the ball. or catching a screen pass and running with it, or even throwing it. i always thought he was a better running back, than passer. this way, he doesn't have to show the nfl recruiters that his shoulder would never hold up as a passer in the nfl (and it won't).
-
they made him out to be the next percy harvin. every time he receives the ball, we were told he could run it back all the way. i don't recall him having done that yet.

it sounds like you have anterior knee pain---chondromalacia patella. very common, NON-SURGICAL condition i see on a daily basis. aggravated by crouching, squatting, jumping (plyometrics), etc etc. its impossible to tell for sure without examining you, and getting xrays. but it is treated non-surgically. avoid aggravating activities, strengthen your quad through isometric, short arc exercises, take an anti-inflammatory for a couple weeks, and it should improve. i don't know how old you are, but without a clear-cut injury, or mechanical symptoms of locking/or buckling, i would NOT recommend a knee scope. that being said, you can see any of the physicians listed above. i like bob steensen of ortho one. he is conservative---he's not going to look for an excuse to operate if he feels you will not benefit from it. many patients (and surgeons) wrongfully believe if the MRI shows any abnormality, that it can be fixed with a knee scope. good luck

some of my best patients are former runners. they are all thin. biking is much easier on your joints, compared to running. all this is considering you use moderation. bike for 100 miles at a time?? yes, your knees may hurt. bike 15-20 miles at a time?? no problem.

dear moderators, please kill me. sincerely yours, this thread

This. Why waste money on two combos. Buy something that will work now AND later. Nawwwwwss!!

That's a great mentality to have when it comes to bumps and bruises. I'm the same way.

Blizzaks on spare wheels about to go on my gtr. I'll drive the shit out of it. Snow, ice, doesn't matter

Very cool story. Welding some gay exhaust fins on my car as we speak. What's the over/under on my gains? 40hp? 50?

congrats. find a routine you can stick with long term. that's the challenge. did the mt dew tattoo shrink? bet you have a lot more energy now with all the weight off. for motivation, try carrying a 50lb dumbell up and down the stairs a few times, and realize that's what you did daily 7 months ago

^^^i agree. I do quite a bit of each, and have just as much fun doing both. I have a two mile mt bike course across the street from me. I hit up a couple laps on that trail for explosive power training. And then use the road bike for a 25 mile constant, steady burn. Two totally different types of ride. Both are fun in their own way. Funny, I put up a huge fuss about a local bike club building the trail across the street---it's an 80 acre nature preserve. I didn't want the extra traffic in my neighborhood or the liability/irritation of people near my property. I never see anyone on the trail, and I use it nearly every week, sometimes a couple times a week

paging dr rick??? at your age, i would say its safe NOT to get one. if you were around young children or old people on a daily basis i would say get one
-
For your needs, Pick a cheap one and use it as a disposable. Batteries fade with time and disuse. The same way 2 cycle engines are not reliable with infrequent use. If you were using it daily, weekly, or in a 'professional' capacity, the vote would be to get a quality gas powered unit. Shit, you can probably get one for $75-$100 and it will be good for 4-5 years of infrequent usage. You're talking about using it for 100 minutes per year, for 5 years. It only has to last 500 minutes.

Depends on which team shows up. Is it a home game? College is such a game of momentum. Get a young qb with confidence, and a head of steam, sure, I think we "can" win. Msu has the better team. Any big ten team is beatable on any given night.

I ditched the irs in my cobra, in hopes of getting serious with drag racing it. I put a solid rear in the car, with maximum motorsports control arms, coil overs, panhard bar, and torque arm. I swear the car handled better than it did with the irs and it could take full abuse I think you can get the solid rear good enough to do some road racing. If you're going to be serious about road racing, you shouldn't be buying a mustang imo

After living through the wheelhop aids-infested abortion that was the irs on my '04 cobra, I'll pass final judgement once I see if ford has solved this issue with the redesign. I don't think they have.

The cone head pic is priceless. What is the backstory behind all the threats?
-
all depends on what you want to do. a good compromise is a cyclecross bike. basically a road bike with slightly bigger tires and more powerful brakes. no suspension. you can ride it on the road as well as light terrain---dirt, crushed gravel, grass, etc. get a used bike and find out if you like it first. you probably need to spend upwards of $500 to get anything decent, even used.

its not too bad at all. half's are totally doable for most people. i do not look like a runner at all---and two years ago, if you would have told me i'd be running as much as i do, i'd say hell no. i run about 3-5 miles a day. some days i'll do 7 miles, some days i'll bike. you just burn off so much more calories running, its nuts. but the training regimen for a half marathon is not bad. 5k's are a little better suited for my build/muscle composition, so i enjoy them a bit more. my gf is better suited for just about any distance running. we split a marathon this summer. i averaged 7:48 miles, she averaged 6:50 :lolguy:
-
its crazy when you figure some people that win these go sub 4:30 miles the whole time. most people can train a little and do a half marathon--i could probably do a decent half time (sub 8:00 mile) with no prep at all. but most who run a marathon need a formal training regimen---i.e. you just couldn't go out tomorrow and run a competitive time, unless you regularly train long distances. and to maintain 8:22 pace for 26 miles is impressive. people don't realize just how much the average runner's mile times drop off, the longer they run. i can do a 5k with a 6:50 pace, a 10k with a 7:05 pace, but my half marathon pace was 7:43 minute miles.
