  1. Following. I call second dibs when this thing goes up for sale
  2. His feelings were hurt, mostly
  3. Meh. Pretty fucking epic if you ask me. And even if you don't ask me, who gives a fuck? Honestly, when I first saw this, I thought it was a trailer for the new grand theft auto. At likely 50-60 years old, I would still "not fuck" with this guy. He's contemporary with Arnold and sly, and looks like he could wipe the floor with both. I approve of this video
  4. lol bob is not "now" a knee surgeon. he's been a knee surgeon for a long time, and that is his 'career'. he played in the nfl, but his 'career' has been medicine. didn't know his son was pre-med. steve bellisari's brother greg, was a co-resident of mine in orthopedic surgery. he played on the '95 buckeye team and played in the nfl for a short stint---super cool guy. my roommate in college was a microbiology major and played place kicker--lol. i can remember selecting him on college game day (video game) and missing field goals right in front of him to taunt him---was funny as shit. most college players do not have difficult majors. there are exceptions to the rule, but it is a tough life in college to do well at a high-level major and dedicate all the necessary time to the sport.
  5. i've had good results with scratching my brake pads on a concrete surface before installation. seems to cut down on a ton of brake dust and is a good way to 'bed' the pads in.
  6. look at these extreme couponers. i bought 36 torque wrenches, 110 boxes of gloves, 56 3/8" open end wrenches, and only paid $15.
  7. Pretty sure some of may's dislike of osu stems from a 70 point beat down of his alma mater

  9. It's hit or miss. I've had two electric corded impact drivers from hf, and they have lasted over ten years with zero issues. Then I've had air line connectors that have ALL leaked, wrenches that flat out broke, and scissors that wouldn't cut. I have had good luck with their jacks and jack stands. But I buy with caution from them when I need something precise.
  10. i'd trust a good quality torque wrench with a crow foot, over ANYTHING from china freight, in terms of accuracy, quality. i buy china freight stuff and treat it as a throw away tool.
  11. Candles? Horrible idea. Don't bother. Where can you shop for rings varying in price from $10.00 to $5,000.00?? I'd love to go to this store and see for myself. Kind of like the car dealership that sells both used ford fiestas and veyron's? Threads like this are like a bad car wreck. When I pull over to offer assistance I don't know whether I'm going to be trying to revive someone, or put them out of their misery.
  12. Looks good. I've always liked that style roadster over other similar options. Any plans for it?
  13. Same guy I've seen driving with his hood open, led lights all over the engine bay?
  14. I swap all that stuff every oil change, as well as a fresh coat of paint on the car every 3k miles. :fuckyeah:
  15. i have no write offs, no business write offs. no fringe benefits, no offshore accounts. every year i claim zero deductions, so the max is taken out. and i still owe mid 5 figures at the end of the year. its fucked up. i recommend a fixed percentage tax to be paid by everyone---and even that is not necessarily fair. 25% of $10k-----$2,500 taxes 25% of $100k----$25,000 taxes 25% of $1M------$250,000 taxes taxes are like paying for a service (police/fire/gov't/mail/etc)---i wouldn't pay more for someone to come out and cut my grass compared to someone who made less money than me, so why should i pay more for public services??
  16. +1000 i don't have enough time to read the whole thread because i am fucking WORKING. working to support all the freeloaders. i pay enough in taxes to support at least 10 households in the US for a year. if someone claims they work just as hard as me, then why is it fair i have to pay a disproportionate percentage of my income to support people who are repeatedly rewarded for making horrible decisions in life?
  17. Stop dude, you know less than nothing. If you knew that you knew nothing, that would be something. But you don't even know that. When you take care of a homeless person, they typically come in with no identification. Where the fuck are you going to send the bill? Where's the mailbox under the broad street bridge, where these people live? We used to have competitions in residency for the funniest names patients gave the er. Imagine every funny name you've heard of, and we had them all. These people are demanding as fuck and have zero reservations about being fucking assholes. There were some legendary stories from our training program of residents not taking shit from these people. Multiple times asking someone who wasn't happy with their care "what do you expect for free?" A story about a guy one year below me spitting on some drunk guy with a broken ankle who spit at him, and then setting the ankle with zero anesthesia. You can only take so much from these dicks after being up working for 24 hours straight
  18. Interested as well. I had no luck with nto5-r's from nitto. They wore down after 1500 miles of fairly easy driving. I have nitto invo's but they don't really hook at all in first gear or from a dig. Just under 590rwhp on the vette.
  19. the natural progression is from preschool to kg. if your child is on the small side, is a sept birthday, and has not been in pre-k yet, those are three, fairly striaght-forward reasons to try preschool first
  20. then the answer is to do a year of preschool and kindergarten to follow. no point in rushing into things if the kid is on the borderline, and you haven't done any schooling yet. september is a grey area. i'm no developmental specialist and take my advice with a grain of salt. kids need socialization with peers to develop, especially if its your only child.
  21. looks great. congrats. interested to see your take on how each perform. is the z stock??
  22. You use kilometers like that is somehow going to trick me into thinking it's more than 28,000 miles. What the fuck needs done in that time besides oil changes?
  23. Your kid should be in preschool, right? Ask the teacher how she compares to other kids. September is the cutoff here in Wisconsin for school. You have to test out to start early. Our girls just turned six, and they are in kg. our boy turned 4 in June, and he will do kg next year.
  24. Hyde is a man amongst boys. Plain and simple
  25. And one month's free internet svc, to cover the time you'll be without the car
