  1. it could be worse. i'm celebrating today. got my taxes back and i owe $31k on the 15th. thought it would be much worse. but hey, i get $1750 back from the state
  2. sounds good. my new neighbor has one of these. don't know if its the v8 or v10 version, but he's going to get car-raped this summer---and he doesn't even know it.
  3. I don't joke about women, money, cars, or herpes. I've always wanted a pure drag car. If I get into drag racing this summer I could definitely be in a position to buy one of these bitches.
  4. +1000 i can just here randy jackson critiqueing the power band---definitely pitchy
  5. let me know when you get yours. i might be interested:fuckyeah: then i can post here about how i have a single digit car. i'll post youtube videos for proof of my car's capabilities
  6. so fucking dumb. you're not in their league, or anywhere near it, fyi.
  7. both were funny as fuck. i'll watch the third one and likely piss myself laughing.
  8. you are the LAST person on this site who should be arguing about semantics, grammar, or on ANY intellectual level other than "amoeba level"
  9. lol at this story. svtperformance had an 11 page thread titled "have you ever shit yourself" funniest thread ever. too bad you have to be a member to see it---its worth the read
  10. Have you driven a current ctsv? 500lb ft torque just off idle is a blast. I can launch my car as hard as I want---it's stock, and has the full warranty. If you're worried about breaking shit and high maintenance costs that Beemer is probably pretty cheap to fix :dumb: I'd buy Andy's e55 before I bought the v10 m5
  11. I have some spy/teaser shots Of a shit I took this morning. I can post them upon request
  12. One time I leg pressed a small aircraft.
  13. at least 10-15 years ago, there was a world's strongest man competition---when magnus ver magnussen competed. an american body builder entered the competition. everyone in the crowd was in awe of his size, tone, etc. he was thoroughly embarassed throughout the competition. i'll try to find it, but its worth watching. i'd give anything to just be 180lbs and toned. instead, i'm 225lbs, 30lbs (at least) overweight, and no matter how much time i take off lifting, i can still throw 315lbs around on the bench like its childs play.
  14. if you're talking the v10 M cars i think they make 3XX torque, and make all their power up top. ok, if you're going to go all out, and rev the car sky high every time. the V makes 550 torque, and makes tons of it right off idle speed---the fun factor for driving the car at 50-75% throttle (normal around town driving) is much, much more gratifying in the V. if you're paying roughly 50% of the original car's worth, you better be prepared for issues with the car--just my thoughts---that, and you'll get beat by the V
  15. If you're breaking it down to mileage expected and pricing over 100k miles, the ctsv is not the car for you. I averaged less than 18mpg on my gto, but drove it like a boss. You can't break a pleasure car down into cost per mile, or you'll end up driving it like a pansy. Also, didn't see if you mentioned insurance costs. And the v needs premium gas. If you're talking rx8 you should probably add in the cost of a second motor. Lol
  16. good enough for me. welcome to the site.

    Wing Stop

+1 i live in bumfuck wisconsin. we have no QS&L, no BW3, nothing. columbus has so many incredible places for wings, its unreal. the reality, is that out of all the major cities i've visited/lived in, columbus (for its size--we know its not chicago or new york) has a disproportionate number of fantastic restaurants.
  18. thought about one of those kits. funny, when you join the gtrlife forum and post pics of your car, these companies come out of the woodwork shooting you pm's about all their power packages. i'm going to keep it fairly simple--i'd like to not have to upgrade the transmission. right now, i have a cobb tuning package for the motor/trans, intake, injectors, pumps, downpipe and midpipe. going to get it all installed at some point this spring once the snow is off the ground
  19. Maybe. The e85 here is inconsistent, as far as quality goes, shortens the life of the fuel pumps, and decreases the range of the car. Some people can put up with these things, but they all add up to making the car just a little bit less likeable for me. All for maybe 20-30 more hp.
  20. I'd rock an rs7. Seriously. I'd consider buying it right now
  21. People go through difficulties all the time in their lives. They either fight through them, or give up. You called it quits before you turned 21. Congrats
  22. Were you drafted? Didn't think so. You were doing your job--thanks for that, but you were paid for your work. No one tricked you into joining the military. You knew or should have known going into the job what your duty would have entailed. You want disability for your so called PTSD, fine. Claiming hearing loss, as well as disability from the dirtbike wreck is what makes you 'bitch-made', in your words. That's why you will never have the respect of one single person on this forum--or any person who knows your story, for that matter
  23. You're a faggot, plain and simple. My best friend came back from Afghanistan with legit PTSD. Worked there for 9 months as a combat orthopedic surgeon. The shit he told me about would give him nightmares to no end. Guys missing 3 limbs who he saved. Guys literally cut in half by ied's. young men bleeding out and dying right in front of him, private ryan style--helpless. the trauma that he dealt with was insane. These are the guys our tax dollars should be supporting. We should help them function with day to day activities. Not some prick who's claiming hearing loss. Or claiming 30% disability for some dumb injury that was his own fault, on his own time, completely separate from his 'service'. You're not putting the money to good use. You should be donating half of it to soldiers with real disabilities. By your logic, I should claim some disability. I operate a very loud bone saw---10% disability for hearing loss. The saw vibrates like crazy, combined with all the fine work I do with my hands has lead to carpal tunnel syndrome--boom, 30% more disability. I am exposed to X-rays all day long, which can lead to cancer--20% disability. I've had multiple exposures in the 1000's of surgeries I've done to accidental needle sticks, or sharp broken bone edges--exposing me to the risk of hepatitis c and HIV---15% disability. I also work with dangerous chemicals. Some of which In the bone cement I use during total knee replacements have been linked to Parkinson's--15% disability. Finally, I have to occasionally deal with the stress of doing disability exams on freeloading pussies (like you), leading to mental anguish---10%. Or I could just be a man and work for my money.
  24. You're a pussy, plain and simple. You injured yourself being a dumb fuck on a dirt bike while dicking around and are claiming a higher disability than an amputee, who actually has a tangible disability. If you're not ashamed, you should be. You have zero room to talk regarding earning money, and/or being a baller---you get monthly handouts for being a bitch. Similar to food stamps.
  25. +1 at least give some of the taxpayers a chance to win back some of their money.
