  1. The "3 car garage"lol - going to throw a black roof on it Then some more big boxes showed up :fuckyeah: YES So there we are. Im all in this at around $2K. Its clean and works great. Should get the job done nicely.
  2. So I called up Ice's buddy and went and checked out an extra cart he had in a trailer. 2007 36V EZGO. For $600 I decided to take the chance on it. Pics from that day: Nicest guy ever, he delivered it from Whitehall up to the house in Lewis Center later one night after work. Started taking things apart. Did a little powerwashing and just 303'd the plastic stuff Cleaned this up somewhat decently - Fluid Filmed the metal New batteries Took the rear seat off for now. I cant have this thing sticking off the back or it wont fit in my garage - I think I am going to chop off the foot rest or modify it to hinge up sometime soon. It is also HEAVY as hell. Cut in some lights, generously given to me with the cart Lights in, and redid the seat in black
  3. It was an 8:1 so thats like 2.25 per if you bought before hand. At least a lot of others in the green! Should have went in more on NRGU...
  4. I took over my dads Weber 3-burner that he had for a few years. I threw some new flavor bars in it, cleaned it all up and its been awesome. I may get new grates for it as mine are a little rusty. Not sure if I can fix that.
  5. We watched Tiger King. Meh. Listening to S-Town kind of ruined T.G. for me somehow since the S-Town guy was similar but more crazy / a more exciting storyline.
  6. With the headunit you should be good. Its a case of diminishing returns.... you can throw some $20 pioneer aftermarkets on a stock stereo and usually get improvement, but the $50 ones may suck and be underpowered. If you have the rest upgraded you should be rewarded.
  7. They are going to be worlds better than stock. Question is do you have the headunit to push the right amount of power to them? If not they will not be to their full potential.
  8. I regret buying some lol. I know I will also regret the K1 come tax time (despite the split) Im just going to hold it as I dont even have that much. Should have went all NRGU.... What I am learning is its best to bite the bullet and load up on blue chips if you can. I spent some on a few Microsoft and I think I will be pretty happy. Been watching CAT fall too. May be a nice pickup.
  9. Keeps getting better!!!! If that blue and spoiler were gone, man it would really smooth that thing out!
  10. USO should be going down to zero, but its staying around 4 for some reason. Wonder if they will liquidate it. I do have some of it and its not enough to hurt if it does tank....but if it goes back up long-term, yay. May be a much safer bet to get in on Marathon or Exxon if you want oil.
  11. ^^^ didn’t even think of that! Doing right now. Good call
  12. Either you are more well off than gets a check, you haven’t filed taxes recently with a return, or you need to give more info. They supposedly won’t just go ahead and deposit unless you give permission. In most cases that permission to deposit is same as when you give it to deposit a tax refund That’s my take on it.
  13. I was going to try and buy a golf cart anyway, but I guess you could say I’ll be spending it on that / banking it. Then, it may get purposefully spent once things seem “safer”. I’ve “made” a chunk of change not having to pay for daycare, gas, and eating out with this whole thing. However, it’s always in the back of my mind more stuff can and very well may hit the fan before this calms down any.
  14. I’m so happy for this. On the alcohol side yes I picked up a few more bottles last night. On those increasingly warmer days it makes me happy to chill on the porch with a glass On the flip side the fact that our trim guy or our paint guy can still go do work on my companies new homes that we are building - not only are they all alone all day, working, and making their paycheck, so am I. Our whole company is then able to stay home, work, and keep on going. That lone tradesman is keeping our process going and thus our whole company....and they don’t even work directly for us. Our only guys out in the field are our job supervisors and they are generally also alone all day. They may check in on the painter or whatnot but it’s brief and distant is they are even present at the time.
  15. 600? Has it been sitting in a field for 10 years? If its in otherwise decent shape, Id be more than happy to check it out! Thanks
  16. Thanks!. Seems like the dealers have those sort of "straight off the course" lookin' carts for usually around $3K. I may be stuck looking private party if I want to be closer to 2..... find an old cart with newer batteries and prey. I do really want one of those full rain flys as well and do see those pop up private party now and then. A potentially decent one on Facebook at the moment for 2400. Depends on the batteries I guess.
  17. Never noticed any before, but Ill give it a look next time I drive past there! Edit: Drove past... there was one nicer looking lifted one sitting there. From the road I didnt see any info posted on it so I didnt bother stopping. Will keep looking there in case he gets others.
  18. That is pretty cool. May be a bit too enclosed for those nice days though. However at 1800 bucks it seems like a great idea compared to a 1800 golf cart. I guess it depends if its the same size as a golf cart - I will have to parallel park the thing behind my truck in a 2-car garage. The 4x8 typical golf cart dim seems to fit fine with a foot or two to spare. We should totally do this. I think..
  19. Haha. Doesnt sounds like that would make it up a driveway well. Might get laughed out of the neighborhood as others mostly have those lovely lifted $8K+ ones.... Facebook Marketplace will probably be the best bet. I wonder if they will get a little cheaper once its even warmer out. Its pretty perfect golf carting weather at this moment!
