I doubt you can get one that cheap, but I have been wrong before. 2012 models usually don't hit until August, some trickle out before but not many. Usually entry level road bikes don't get discounted because they get sold so quickly and the $100 off deal will surely sell them out. In your case needing such a large bike you might be able to find one hanging around a shop leftover because of the size.

On another note I will be riding Alum Phase 1 sometime on Wednesday. Maybe around noon. Probably do two laps.

FYI Trek dealers are having a $100 instant rebate on road bikes but not the 1.1. Might be some incentive to step up to the 1.2. Either way the 1.1 is a great starter bike. I have sold them like hot cakes. Do you know what size you need?
