I don't see it flipping over sideways.. However, I do see a potential for it to flip over backwards on the Mulsanne straight if it sticks too close behind another car.

Going to the CBus auto show tonight, so I'm not sure when I'll be out and about. But I might drop by.

I respect it for its out-of-the-box thinking. But I don't have high hopes and even suspect it might have some aero issues to work out. We shall see.

It seems to go beyond just a passive dislike. Case in point, you calling it "dumb" and using "retard" in a metaphor. Also, we're at 200 posts about a car that makes less power at peak than some of the cars here make at idle. I think moving someone to an active like or dislike is "polarizing." But that's just semantics. It's tough to find high offset rims that look really good. But I'm thinking the Enkei PF01 is a good balance of price, looks, and weight. My friends are trying to stop me from going black on black again, though... Unfortunately, there just isn't enough aftermarket parts yet to really get a good set of low offset rims to fit. As for lowering, a mild drop may happen. Thing is, the car is going to be a year-round DD, so I'll need to clear the snow that will inevitably fall if I trade an AWD car for a RWD one. (My prediction for winter 2012-13 is 3 feet)

Wow... And people say tuning for Street Performance is pointless. I'd rock that.. ..and immediately get scared shitless. But you'd have to surgically remove the grin from my face.

I could certainly say the same about the GTI. I think the BRZ looks really good. It could look better, but it's definitely not boring to me. It seems to be a pretty polarizing car.

btw, the BRZ is at the Columbus Auto Show this weekend.

Turbo may be coming if the car proves to be popular. Subaru already has a turbo FA20 they're thinking of putting into the next WRX. TRD is supposedly already working with a supercharged example. As for AWD, the goal was light weight, super low CG height, and well balanced. It's difficult an expensive to get a good balance with the engine hanging out in front of the front wheels. So they set the engine 4" lower and 9" back from where it would be in the Impreza. This, however puts the engine in the way of where the front axles would be. And engine placement issues aside, AWD is heavier and saps more power.

Now the forecast says it'll just be cloudy.. so I guess the nice cars are back on!

Actually, das borgen is an amazingly funny guy. He has an unerring eye for funny pictures and likes to share them. The problem is that he doesn't check his posts and doesn't realize that the hosting sites he posts from have hotlinking filters that replace his incredibly funny pictures with unfunny ones. It's a shame, really.

If you hook up with the Road Devils, I'm sure they can point you in the right direction. Those guys make crapcan racers look like big spenders.

The last store I worked at had a set of those toilets. They're pretty powerful. And they use less water since there's a pressure vessel in the tank, rather than filling the whole tank with water.

Some ice racers swear they can hit higher Gs in a corner than they could on asphalt and slicks. I'm not seeing studs on the Porsche.....

Hopefully it'll be clear and dry. I shook the dust off the STI Sunday and want to take it out again. It always surprises me how sharp that car feels.

I'm curious about what technologies have come out recently that are enabling these numbers.

HP numbers are climbing so fast, it's starting to look like they're made up.
