  1. The rims spin forwards on one side of the car and backwards on the other. Never been a fan of the TT's rear. The wing helps. Nice looking nose though. So Audi's design room is in typical form. Nice car overall. Should be fun.
  2. Fuck.. What's this Emily's last name?
  3. Some day, someone's going to make one of these movies and hire someone who actually knows what they're doing to consult on the technical aspects. And the director will actually listen. Unfortunately, so much dumb shit will have come before it that no one will care.
  4. Saw Fear Factory live at Lupo's in RI when it was still around. Tiny f'n club. Nothing like seeing Fear Factory and Dope doing Edgecrusher live. :fuckyeah: They were touring Obsolete. First song they played was Shock. When the drop hit, I was ground zero where the nuclear mosh pit erupted. Good choices in this thread. One of my favorite FF songs is Scumgrief (Deep Dub Trauma remix) from Fear is the Mindkiller. Can't find the album track though, only live: Original version from Soul of a New Machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEy_GshX6ag
  5. The funny thing is, the TSA isn't mandatory. Airports can contract to private security companies if they want. But I think there's just too many reach-arounds happening on capitol hill to get more than the current handful of airports to kick the TSA out.
  6. Too bad. Might be nice to see the Quattro badge in the WRC again. Though with all the regulations, it'll be tough for Audi to work their old magic. ..even nicer to see the Pleiades Cluster mixing it up too.
  7. Are the Four Rings thinking of returning to the WRC?
  8. I usually recommend Chrysler: Champion Ford: Motorcraft GM: AC Delco Euro: Bosch single electrode Japan: NGK or higher end Denso. Even then I don't really get why the brand matters. A spark plug just jumps an electrical arc across a gap. The arc just superheats the air/fuel mix in it's immediate vicinity. The rest of the combustion is just a chain reaction, the initial spark has nothing to do with the full burn. *shrug*
  9. Bad ass. I'd rock it. Bet it's a real pita to find tires for the rear of that thing.
  10. Saying the scent of a new car is unhealthy is like saying bacon is bad for you. Technically it might be true, but no one cares.

  12. That was a lot of fun. We should have more Sushi Meets.
  13. Hero is excellent. Not just the story, but the cinematography and use of color are amazing. Worth the watch.
  14. Is there a name the table will be reserved under? I can only pick a couple of you out of a crowd.
  15. Someone already has: SOME SAY Hope he can drive...
  16. Anyone know if this relates to automotive R-134a? We're currently at low spring pricing, but it would be interesting to know how much I can expect the price to rebound in the next couple months.
  17. True. New new cars don't smell quite like old new cars. But it's still a great scent.
  18. I think RallyX has spoiled me. We have smaller turnouts so we try to get in at least 10 runs throughout the day. I wonder if Pete Remner will hit any of those...
  19. What kind of turnout do they see, and how many runs per day is the usual? Going to events in other regions is always fun. But since I don't AutoX competitively, it'd be hard to justify a trip to Cleveland for only 4-5 runs.
  20. Concrete pad driveway thread. Epic Win in that thread near the end.
  21. A great example of where movie ratings fail. It was rated PG but scarier than most horror flicks.
