The shot of Phil watching his own boat leave the dock was sad to watch. Keith is having a bad year too. At least he's found the crab. Now hopefully he can land them instead of leaving his pots on the ocean floor.

I don't drink either. It just isn't for me. I don't mind if others do, and I'll certainly taste out of curiosity. But I just don't drink. The up side is I don't have to worry about hangovers or the cost of alcohol. The downside is that I really don't get any enjoyment out of any sort of social gathering that's based around drinking (i.e. "hey guys let's go out and hit [insert bar here].")

I got an earful about "hustle" in another thread, so I figured there would be more interest in this. I'm not saying they SHOULD be stealthed, just offering it as an option. Well, you can increase effciency a number of ways. One is to increase surface area. But this stuff supposedly acts as an improved interface between the metal and the air. Aluminum already does a great job of releasing heat; which is why many CPU fans are copper cored (moves and distributes heat better than aluminum) with aluminum fins (releases heat into the air better than copper). I wouldn't be surprised if silver was a main component since it handles and dissipates heat better than both aluminum and copper. But supposedly there have been noticeable improvements in temps using this special paint, so it must work.

Although, to kind of play Devil's advocate... Remember the greenhorn on the Northwestern two years ago? He showed up, took the shit, worked his ass off, and did all that he could to fit in and impress the crew. He even took a hit from Matt. At the end of the season, Sig gave the kid the jacket off his own back. That's badass. Funny thing is, before signing on the Northwestern, the kid was just a skater punk in CA. So it's possible that attitude can make up for a lack of physical strength. But you have to have an abundance of at least one or the other.

The only out of shape guys I see are the ones behind the wheel. But then what can you expect when they sit all the time sucking down red bull, coffee, and cigarettes. The guys on deck, even the old ones, don't look like softies. Frankly, I know I couldn't handle working like they do. Hell, they made a Rodeo rider look like Peter Griffin.

At the DynoTune meet the other day I was seeing all of these otherwise stock-looking cars with these huge shiny intercoolers behind the bumper. Not exactly "stealth". Here's a thread on IWSTI.com about "Thermal Dispersant" paint. It actually improves the ability of metal parts painted with it to give heat to the atmosphere. I like Aki Hana on Old Henderson. Kikyo by the Upper Arlington Post Office is good too.

ALso starting Monday at 10pm is "Doin' Da Vinci." A bunch of guys actually assemble and test Da Vinci's inventions. That looks really interesting.

I think I'll get myself a big order of King Crab sushi to munch on when I watch the season premier.

New Season starts Tuesday at 9 and two best of Season 4s atarting at 7pm. Best show on TV is back. I think I saw Phil on the boat in the previews. Hopefully he's taking it easy.
