There was literally an inch of ice on the roof of my car.

If weather is even slightly bad, my fogs go on. There's no reason NOT to turn your lights on in any car younger than 10 years or so when they started killing the electrical system when the car is off. In white-out conditions, there's 350 watts of lighting blasting from the front of my car. I may not see the idiots out there that want to hide in the snow, but they damn well will see me.

HA! I saw that one too. Subaru AWD + Winter tires = Teh WIN! It just aggravates me how bad drivers insist on driving in this stuff. It only take a little effort and practice to learn how to control a car in low traction conditions. And the number of all-seasons (NO-seasons actually) out there is amazing. So few take winter driving seriously.

You're on! Well, for the cone-humping part. I doubt I could take your Evo in a drag race as I'm still stock power. Plenty of AutoX opportunities this year, and there should be quite a few at NTR. I wouldn't mind trading for a run if you're up to it. I'd like to see what all the fuss is about.

And Evos have the proportions of a mutant VW Beetle. Tall roofline, low beltline, and a short nose that curves downwards with a constant radius. Not to mention that the tail looks fat from behind. Neither car is good looking. It's totally subjective. Though the side-impact ratings aren't.

Every time I see some idiot on the road not paying attention or driving like an idiot in the snow I get a LITTLE BIT CLOSER to running them off the road. So far, in situations with idiots, my first impulse it to keep driving along my way. And I usually don't think of fucking with them until I'm well past them; I'm too busy fuming. But I've noticed that my urge to mess with them is coming sooner and sooner after the fact. Yesterday, I was behind a couple car merging onto the highway at 30MPH!! Whe nI got aorund, I saw that the lead car ws an old lady texting or fucking with some small fiddly thing while she was driving and barely payign attention to the road. My rear bumper was barely past her when I had the idea to swerve REAL close to her side and honk my horn to scare the shit out of her. I hope I don't actually follow through one of these days... I don't need the legal headaches.

CS Beta 5.2 was the last good version. Once gooseman decided to listen to the whiners and lower the accuracies of all the guns, the game went to shit. Soon after that, the optimizations started dropping bullets. Sprinting around a corner, stopping 5 feet from someone, emptying a mag from a *rifle* into someone center mass, and hitting nothing is BS. Fuck CounterStrike.

It's funny.. I like Ohio. And I moved out here from Cape Cod. People like different aspects of different places. But ultimately, I think we all dislike wherever we grew up. It's easy to focus on the things we hate when we've spent our whole lives around them.

I have to admit that the "slopes" I've seen around here would qualify as bunny slopes in VT and NH. Sorry. But really, this is Ohio... Beggers can't be Choosers and in such a flat state....
