Every time I drive it... As for a serious workout, I have AutoXed a couple times. But the suspension was really an effort to perfect my STI. I plan to keep it for a long long time, so I wanted a suspension that was great for the road. But I didn't want to feel held back by it if I wanted to AutoX it or take it to MidOhio. If I was just planning to track it, I'd be running coilovers with astronomical spring rates and sway bars the size of my wrist.

Ok, let me know when's good. Things aren't looking the greatest, weather-wise, for a while.. But I'm not sure we'll get much better in the near future...

I could be convinced.. Couple things first: 1. My STI is very little like Ken Blocks. No e-brake turns or sidestepping the clutch at 6K. 2. You break it, you pay to fix it. 3. My STI is still near stock power levels. However the suspension is completely modified, so it won't feel like a stock STI.

To warn spectators at the the exit of a hairpin (who are probably IN the road) that a rally car is about to come through. Rally drivers and navigators are insane. This is just more proof.

It's still there, just called Liquid Metal. Jose is still one of the best DJs, and they still have a great play list. Speaking of play lists, I've been hearing a lot of stuff that I haven't heard before since the blending. I think there may have been some back-office deals that made some music exclusive to Sirius or XM. NOw that they're one in the same, those deals are meaningless.

All it takes is seat time and a car that can blow all four tires off.. How is the traction on the KDWs? Anyone know how they compare to RE-01Rs? If they suck, I might get a set for my rally car so I can play on the tarmac. I currently have Hankook R-S2s, and at an Auto-X I took it to, I just couldn't get the rear to break loose consistently, and I was anything BUT smooth with the car.

I love this vid too. Anyone who thinks subarus aren't as good in the snow as the ads say needs to see this video. He drove UP a ski slope. I also love how he gives the snow boarders tows so they can do the rails and jumps going uphill. I repeat: I want that car.

Liquid Metal sounds kinda.. wimpy.. compared to Hard Attack. Hopefully the programming won't change. Don't get me wrong, my WRX is in no way about to fall apart. It has 107K miles and has been driven in 6 ODOT winters. Add in a year of RallyX and it's still rock solid. But I'm looking at keeping the STI until I die, seriously. So I'm thinking WAY down to road. I HAVE the WRX, so I don't NEED to drive the STI during salt season.

No, not really. ODOT's salt use is amazingly ridiculous. I can't figure out why, since there's NO geographic similarities, but that's how it is. Cape Cod gets by using NO salt on the roads; only sand. Yet, here they use ONLY salt and other chemicals that will eat a car even faster. I'll drive the STI from spring to fall. I'm even considering taking it out to a RallyX for shits and giggles. But I refuse to drive it during ODOT salt season.

Bah.. Whatever. It's not like I'm garaging both my Subarus.

The rally car will be out in it. But I want my STI to last, and coating it in a layer of corrosive salt isn't going to help.
