No kidding. When you get a look at the back of the car you can't see any straps there either. What kind of half-assed shop just secures a car by the doors???
DirecTV over Cable every time. Mine only goes out in the strongest storms, and when it does, I have a rack of DVDs and recorded programes on my DVR.
No contest.
Every time the government has to bail out a company, those responsible for bringing it to that point should be put in stocks in the center of D.C. for the public to do with as they please since it's the public's money that bailed their asses out.
There are 800+hp STIs out there on the stock transmission. They leave the stock rear axles in as 'fuses' in the driveline.
Subaru marries Turbo and AWD with excellent reliability. The 02 and early 03 5-spd issues only crop up if the power is greatly increased and/or the car is abused. 104,000 miles and my 'glass' transmission is holding up fine.
Oh, as for the OP: I have an early 2003 WRX. I beat the hell out of it when I RallyX and aside from a little NVH that I think mght be the fender braces, it's still running fine. The transmission is also in great shape and shifts with no grinding.
McCain is bad, but Palin is worse. No way am I voting for that pair.
Obama has a number of issues as well that make me want him far away from the White House as possible.
*sigh*
The RallyX was great. I really wish some of you had made it out. Over the course of the weekend, we managed over 43 *MINUTES* of seat-time! The track layouts were fast with good technical sections and the surface held out really well.
I was having overheating issues as it appears one of my radiator fans has died. So I was cooking myself and my passenger in the car with the heat on full blast to keep the engine cool.
Some of my Fail Pics.

THere's a TBSS that runs in MI, and it does well. And OVR has one of the largest areas for RallyX in the division. The NTR location is known for having really long courses with a fast back straight and sweeping turns.
I'd bet money that MrAutoX in his Pathfinder could beat you in your SRT4.
THis video is amazing to watch.
As for the Swiss Air pilot, the airlines are starting to limit how much fuel the pilots are allowed to have on board. He probably was in a holding pattern waiting for the wind to die down and was almost out of fuel.
OVR RallyX plays pretty close to the rules. I think it'd be considered to have too high of a CG. But I've seen SUVs run at Michigan events, and WOR is pretty laid back.
