Psst! The WRX has an H4. But anyways, the trick is to stay out of boost. A boost gauge helps a lot. My STI will get 19-20 mpg around town and 25-26 on the highway. That's better than a big truck or SUV. But I wasn't entirely suggesting a boosted Suby. The Legacy is a great daily. It's comfortable, still AWD, and comes in boosted or N/A flavors. Otherwise, I guess there's a stipped down 128i new, or a used 3 series. Unfortunately, as copperhead said, the better the mileage the less fun the car. FWD car is where you'll find the best economy.

I hated it. I DESPISED it. I was seriously going to pick up an Evo X because of it. But DAMMIT... Subaru has done it again. Like a freaking fungus, the styling has begun to grow on me.. I still think my 07 looks better though.

I think drivers like that believe that if they haul ass and pass on the right then they are safe from Cops. Makes no sense to me...

Definately. They can't afford to be biased towards the manufacturers. If they can't say a crap car is crap, then it's not Top Gear. They probably will get a woman as one of the three hosts...gotta be PC and all that. If they do, she better be one that knows cars. If she fills the "Capt. Slow" slot, it'll be painfully obvious she's just a token chick. How much you wanna bet it'll be a white guy, a black guy, and a woman? Oh wait, that's American Idol. Hmmm...

It says something about the Z that a drunk punk who can't drive can save it from a 90mph tail-out. I'm glad I have friends that respect me and my car. Those definately would not be people I'd consider friends.

Sunoco 94 in both of my boosted cars. If I can't get it, I look for big name stations (Shell, Mobil, Exxon.) I haven't had any issues with BP, but I've never regularly used it.

If each was putting up $7500, you'd think they'd be able to afford the $10 to get onto to local track.

Reminds me of some grafitti at the Sagamore Bridge in MA. THere's a huge Samaritans sign at the beginning of the bridge. It's supposed to say "Feeling Desperate? Call the Samaritans!" But a couple quick swipes with spraypaint left it: "Feeling Desperate? JUMP!" Took a couple days to get it fixed.
