I'd be willing to pay much more to renew my license if they actually TESTED people. (i.e. Reaction time, situational awareness, crash avoidance, etc.) But unfortunately, because it makes more money for the governments, they'll give a license to anyone. My test consisted of 1 lap of the local Mall. I didn't run anyone over, so I passed. Unbelieveable.

Damn, stories like this make we want to get a gun license.

Just put your ID between a couple pieces of tinfoil. Same principal as a "Booster Bag" that thieves use to steal CDs. They line a shopping bag with tinfoil wrapped in duct tape and the door sensors can't pick up the tags or RFIDs. As for the blood draw, if you don't drink and drive, then why does it matter?

I can't stand FWD. Doesn't matter how good the car is. Go for the WRX. Even if I wasn't a Subaru owner, I'd still say the WRX over the Mazda. And if you're looking at the 'speed6 for its AWD, I'd do some reading up on the AWD system first......

I have GH2, GH3, and RB. The GH games are much better single-player. But RB is the best at multiplayer. I've been playing it with a couple friends (Bass, Drums, Guitar. Can't find a singer.), and it's a blast.

For someone who's new to the insanity that is the OH BMV: I got my car at the end of August, and got real plates in September. Is this something I have to worry about?

Possibly (though I've heard an STI with EL headers and it sounds more like a regular I4 to me), but it doesn't have EL headers.

If you have to wait, they'll be sold out. In fact, I think they have them all presold already.

Just because it's a boxer, it doesn't mean it sounds the same as another boxer. No more than a Ford V8 sounds like a Chevy V8. "Boxer Rumble" is used to refer to Subaru boxers. I've never heard an air cooled porsche sound like my STI. They are dry, raspy and sound cheap.

From '08-on you can get a really nice interior with real leather. THere's a picture of it in this thread. You can see the stitching everywhere. However, I heard that it's an $8K option. Double posting FTW

It's amazing how a few tweaks can make a car go from nice to NIIICE! I already had a shot a 1 ZR1, maybe in 10-15 years I'll get a shot at getting one of these ZR1s.

Rather than build up the hood higher, they have the top of the blower become part of the hood. F'N Brilliant! That's awesome. I'd hit it.

Ugh.. SHaky cam when done right is good. WHen done wrong is just downright ANNOYING. They ruined one of the best fight scenes in Chronicles of Riddick with overdone shakycam. I wanted to throttle the director. Little known fact: One of the first uses of shaky cam was in "The Right Stuff" when they are showing Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier. They did this by taping a Vibrator to the camera lens!

I can only go by cars I've heard in person. Recordings aren't that great for comparison.. Some top auditory performers: Ferrari 430 is like music. My 98 T/A with a Random Technology Catback. My STI w/ MadDad Whisper Catback. (Can't wait to hear this one with headers and no cats) Any purpose-built race car. A engine tuned for one purpose is just a sweet thing to hear.
