  1. I hate to say it, but after seeing "Clone" in the title, I thought it was a 300 with a body kit at first glance. Though, I'm sure in person the scale of the car would be more evident. RR maintains proper proportions with their car design. So they never look as big as they are in pictures because they are proportioned like a normal mid-sized car. The only real indicator of the size of that car is the Spirit of Ecstasy on the nose. It's miniscule in the picture because the rest of the car is so huge.
  2. Ok, everything's spoken for. I'm sorting through the list now. PMs outgoing.
  3. These came on my RS and I have no intention of using them. They're just taking up space, so I thought I'd sell them to someone who wants them. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2871/9021669498_57fb402d01_c.jpg They're in good condition with no real curb rash. They do however have 95,000 miles on them, so they could use some TLC. These are 16x7+53 5x100. The tires are Bridgestone RE960 all-seasons. They're worn and have maybe 30% tread left. Just $250 picked up to a good home.
  4. So I have some stuff laying around that I need to get rid of. So I'm just going to try and give them away in hopes that I won't have to throw them away. Set of 4 Hankook RS2 summer tires, 225/50-16, 70% tread left. Set of 4 Dunlop Wintersport 3D snow tires, 225/45-17, 50% useable tread left. Set of 3 ASA GT2 wheels 18x8+48 5x100 with Continental ExtremeContact DW summer tires, 245/40-18. Plus 1 of same wheels/tires combo that hit a pothole; wheel should be repairable, it still holds air. Oh, I also have a an aftermarket BRZ/FRS catback. It has a damnaged flange that has been sealed with gobs of JB Weld Steel Stik. It works, and doesn't leak, but it just isn't pretty. Also free if you can pick it up Sat afternoon. That's it for now.
  5. I heard that the Stig was going so fast that one of the Apex Seals ejected through the casing and dinged the Stig's helmet. The car would have been fine otherwise, but the Stig was so upset that his helmet was marred that the car spontaneously combusted.
  6. Best looking consumer Porsche yet, despite the wheels.
  7. I beat the FUCK out of my WRX at over 100K miles on the clock and it's still ticking. I just don't know how people manage to kill these things so easy. Nice clean swap (though that picture isnt of the finished build). Should be a blast to drive.
  8. I don't know what you guys are eating, but I'm sure I could tell the difference in texture alone. Caine's are much more tender cut of meat.
  9. Love it, just trying not to eat so much bad stuff these days (down 20lbs and falling!) But had some today. Sandwich combo, no lettuce, extra Caine's sauce. The one issue I have is their fries. As fries go, they're ok. I've had much better, and I've have much worse. The problem is that when you put them on a plate along with the rest of Caine's offerings, they are very disappointing. I mentioned this to the owner of the store near where I work and he said "I know. I have ONE freezer in that place and it's because of those fries." The fry guy at Caine's needs to meet the fry guy at Johnny Burcelli's.
  10. Had two thoughts: 1. To prevent fish jumping out, maybe use a clear acrylic grating that would disappear in the water like the walls? 2. How do you feed the fish? Any food dropped on top will flow away from the tank. Maybe shut off the circulation pumps during feeding time?
  11. This. Makes me wonder how much thought has gone into the suspension. Maybe not much if it's just supposed to look pretty on a dyno. Great example of unusable power. Halve the power and it'd go round the track in less time. I guess the question becomes: Why build a car like this if you can't ever use more than half pedal? This car in it's current setup has gone so far off the Cruiser >> RaceCar spectrum that it has come back around to being a Cruiser again. Thumbs up for the work done and the power made. Thumbs down for the poor chassis setup that hobbles the whole thing.
  12. Personally: Lower the front clip to be more in line with the rest of the truck. Windows need old school chrome trim, especially the windshield. Wheels should be Cragars. The fender openings should be larger if the truck is going to have wheels so much larger than the original truck. (Either that, or tuck them) Stepside bed needs to come down to the bottom of the cab. The color is fine if it was a restoration. But it's not. Put something more flattering on it. Oh, and ditch the stupid instagram filters.
  13. Finding some more-applicable-to-CR-than-usual stuff today. This is definitely cool. http://i.imgur.com/3sshLz0.jpg
  14. "Barn Find" location looks good.
  15. I know a guy who might be joining the track's marketing team. I need to make sure I keep his phone number.
  16. That color combination is so amazingly 80s, I think I heard the Miami Vice theme..
  17. Can't make this one, RallyX at NTR..
  18. Looks/sounds like a DSR class car with some huge bike engine in it. I'd love to drive one of those if it wouldn't ruin me for any full bodied car afterwards.
  19. I find I really like Electro Swing. It's fun and catchy, and I can listen to it for long periods of time.
  20. Giovanni Sollima, "Sogno ad Occhi Aperti (Daydream)" A cool song with awesome visuals in the video. Part 2
  21. Sir Mix-A-Lot, "Carz" Because Cars
  22. Skrillex & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, "Make It Bun Dem" Famous in the gaming world as the song from the pot fields in FarCry 3.
