Wheels!
The BRZ's getting a quick lipo and a booster shot of torque in the upcoming month. When all's said and done, it should have about the same or more power to the ground as the STI, but through only two wheels instead of four. So I don't think the 235s will be up to the task.
Time for some serious (for this car) tires. I'm planning to squeeze a full set of 265s under the fenders. But I'll need something wider than my current 17x8s to hold them. And there are already a few choices:
First contender!
Enkei RPF1 in matte black 18x9.5+38
http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/Angelo-6.JPG
http://ft86speedfactory.com/images/AngOnCar-7.JPG
Pros:
Inexpensive
Lightest weight
Clears big brakes
Buisness-like appearance due to track popularity
Cons:
Ugly
Looks an inch smaller than it is
Not sure I want a black-on-black car again
Next up:
Enkei NT03+M in White 18x9.5+40

Pros:
Inexpensive
Lighter
Track-cred :lolguy:
Look cool
Cons:
Will not clear big brakes
Tough to keep clean
And another:

Pros:
Inexpensive
Lighter
Track-cred :lolguy:
Look cool
Cons:
Will not clear big brakes
Not sure I want another black on black car
Fourth possibility:
Advan RGD 18x9.5+40 in black

http://brz.ridedomain.com/front_driver.jpg
Pros:
Haz Lip
Clears big brakes
Cons:
Expensive, so less money for coils
Haven't decided if black is the choice, but gold certainly isn't
And a staggered option for shits and giggles:
Work Emotion XD9 18x9+38, 18x10+38 in white

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7845620264_4714317d60_b.jpg
Pros:
Dat lip!
White on black is shouty
Cons:
Heavy, will undo the benefits of flywheel and CFDS
Will possibly need too much camber to fit, or slightly stretched tires
So let the brouhaha begin!
