Today's diesels are pretty damn impressive. Especially considering that it pulled off a 12 while hauling 3 tons down the track.

Yeah, it's one of those zany UK sports. I had never seen it played before.. Imagine someone combined Baseball and Ice Hockey, then played it on a field that does double-duty for Football and Soccer. Oh, and turn the equipment dial back to the 20s.. This is rather entertaining... I have no idea what the rules are and the scores make no sense (1-02 to 0-00??), but seeing line drives at a soccer net through a bunch of people wearing only shirts and shorts for protecting is pretty crazy. And imagine the goalie! He has to stop the ball with no additional equipment.

I don't think anyone here has put down his fabrication skills. It's his social skills that are lacking. But when he offered to teach PJr, the first thing I thought is that PJr should lock his pride in a trunk somewhere and take JJ up on his offer.

The audience is FAR from qualified to judge something like this. This was a popularity contest.

JJ is definitely full of himself. However, when he says his skill set is beyond all of the others' he isn't exaggerating. But that doesn't excuse him for being a dick. Nor do great skills guarnatee a great product. I do find it interesting that PSR and JJ made the same style bike. Not what I would expect from either. I'd like Discovery to bring back the Biker Build-Off, but do it Pinks All-Out style. Have one big event with LOTS of entries, and class the entrants (Old-School, Contemporary, Street-Bike, and Open Class, then maybe spit each into Pro and Shadetree) have the audience vote for winners of each class, then have one final vote for best of the best. They could pick entrants from the submissions to document to make a season.

Watching this now.. So far, my vote hasn't changed.

If I were to pick one to ride, it'd be Jessie James' bike. But style-wise, I like Gas Monkey best. Paul Sr is known for his Old-School design, but he brings modern bikes to competitions, I don't get that. Paul Jr does some great designs, but this one doesn't do it for me. It has too much negative space, and he cut the fenders WAY too high. So GMG to win, JJ for 2nd, with Jr. 3rd, and Sr. 4th for the bad choice on forks.

Voted. I checked out the other contestants; she's easily top-5. So many of the other girls just don't seem to be "Pin-Up Girls."

I'd rather buy from a company that's builds products in the US and is headquartered elsewhere, than one that is headquartered in the US and builds stuff elsewhere. If it's built in the US, yes some of the money goes overseas, but a lot gets put into regular people's hands here in the US. That said, if a superior product is made outside the US, I'll still buy it. Quality and features supercede nationality in my buying decisions.

Clarkson would only talk about how they ruined a perfectly good Lotus. I'm of mixed opinions about this car. But I have to say, being gear-limited to 230mph is utterly crazy. Someone needs to put a taller final into that and see what it's aero-limited to..
