Stock rims are +48. The rim will be really close to the suspension, and he won't be able to run too wide of a tire (235 at most I think) but it will fit.
There's tons of room in the back. Lots of shops have said with the right offset you could fit a 10" or 11" wide rim back there.
This car is set up to *look* really cool with stock power, or put some serious rubber down for high power. But it will take a lot of work, or future FI versions, to get to the power levels where a 11" wide rim is needed for more than looks.
Well the system is paid for and being built on a jig along with some others. The videos got a lot of people on FT86Club interested. I'll be up there next Sat to pick it up and Don said they'd hang it on the car for me.
I only have a Hero 1 so I'm not sure how it might be done in the camera itself. But you cold try stting it to the resolution setting with the highest frames per second. Then I'm sure there's software that can take a 60 or 120fps video and slow it down to 26fps.
Consoles killed the Arcade before they could kill the PC.
Honestly though, I worked at one for a while. You know what brought in the most money? Those cheesy ticket games. The high end games would barely fill 1/4 of their coin bucket, but the ticket games sometimes had to be emptied twice a week.
The traditional arcade is dead.
Halfway up the hood, fenders to match, full bumper, headlights, mirrors, A-pillars, first 6" of the roof, and rear bumper at the trunk opening came to $905.
He did an excellent job for a really fair price. There's some rough spots on the bumper, but it's to be expected with the crazy shape and the need to custom fit sheets of the material. Overall I'm very happy with the job and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to get a clear bra.
Oh, and I did the side markers myself with some headlight tint scraps Yousef had laying around. And I did a really bad job of it. So don't blame Yousef when you see them. I'm going to see if I can get some more of the tint somewhere and do it right.
lol. I'm going to just transfer the generics that were on the Leggy, that were on the Corolla. They're the old red white and blue plates. I'm going to try and avoid the "clip-art vomit" plates. Maybe when the new plates are out I'll rethink a custom plate.
It's got a lot of overspray from the tinters but it's passable.

Just got back from A2Z. They did a good job. It was probably the 90+ degree heat, but I went with 35% all around. It's the first time I've gone with tint that isn't legal, I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.
But the car looks great and the ceramic tint is fantastic at heat blocking. I think I'm going to be really happy with it. But I'll see when I drive at night if I regret the 35%.
That would be cool to see. You'll have to work fast though, there are already a couple 2JZ swaps in the works in Japan.
You might be getting a bit more from the intake/exhaust. The ECU in the BRZ will pull back the power if it sees too much above what it expects. Lots of people have seen instant gains with a mod, then watched the power dropover 2-3 dyno runs back to near stock levels. Tuning's going to be important to the aftermarket with this car, just like the turbo Subarus.
So what I'm gathering is, an exhaust system from Accelerated Performance will be a good product.
Awesome. Apparently they're happy to have people come by, so I may take a trip up there to hear the exhaust in person and make a decision.
