I believe to diagnose that you would run the vehicle in the air and place a long breaker bar or screw driver on the case near the entry for axles. atleast thats what they showed me when I shadowed at ford.

a rag joint is a device located on the steering shaft made of a soft material used to dampen the transfer of vibrations and other harsh feed back to the steering wheel and affecting the comfort of the driver -
makes sense although i still think he would be to pick up a difference between the too sides if he listened to both sides with the amplication of the instrument if there was indeed a problem while having an assitant rotate the wheel and comparing the sounds between the two sides. not that it really matters because its fair to assume that after proforming a brake inspection that with the mileage on the car a wheel bearing could certainly malfunction.

heres what you wanna know 26 tire 4.10s=6199rpm=117mph 28 tire 4.10s=6199rpm=126mph dont go any higher than 4.10s unless you really wanna break the 10 bolt because of the size of the pinion gear
-
all data would probably have the specifications for proforming the test sequence gear head is reffering too.

if you have a fuel pressure test port try pressing that when it dies to see if you have fuel pressure before proceeding to diagnose other systems.

properly bleed the cooling system. find a plug, port or sensor on the motor as high as possible, remove the mentioned component and fill radiator with coolant until you see a small amount of coolant seep out. seal removed component and clean surface area before reinstallation. that should remove the majority of air from your cooling system. Run the vehicle cold with the cap removed taking note to add coolant as need until no more air escapes and your done.

if your pulley was fucked up enough to bog the motor it would destroy the belt. seen it on many water pump seizures

if its hard to start when cold perhaps consider testing the ect sensor, kinda a long shot but is a possibility if you have exhaust everything else

i would take you up on the challenge although i dont think theres too many people who pull a jokyo drift and just let some dudes drive theres cars, let alone powershift the living christ out of them to prove themselves a better driver. tell you what. when i get my shit together probably mid summer next year ill have my 351c in a fox and well both make passes in each others cars aswell as our own cars and the combined best time has bragging rights

sam with a 24.5 your speed per gear gonna look like such. 1st 2.46 rpm 5517 speed 56mph 2nd 1.46 rpm 5496 speed 94mph 3rd 1.0 rpm 5526 speed 138mph if you can do the same out of the hole with the 24.5 depending on where your power is your might actually make out better with the 24.5

miller your a dumbass, how many cars out there do you see as "cam only" when ever one references internal engine mods it references internal mods only. for example Rodney Naquin’s 2001 Pontiac Trans Am runs the fastest classified as cam only ls1 car in the country. However it has much more than a cam. it has Performance Modifications: Thunder Racing T-ReX camshaft, Crane dual springs with .030 shims, Thunder Racing hardened pushrods, Thunder Racing 1-3/4" race headers, F.A.S.T. 90mm intake manifold, F.A.S.T. 90 mm throttle body, Thunder Racing custom dyno tune, Moser 12-bolt rear end, 33 spline axles, 4.56 gears with spool, custom 3.5" aluminum driveshaft, Spec stage 4 clutch, Weld Prostar 15x10 wheels with Mickey Thompson 28x10.5x15 ET drags on the rear, Weld Prostar 15x3.5 front with metric radials. Chassis & Suspension Modifications: BMR boxed subframe connectors, Wolfe Racecraft 6-point chromemoly roll cage, BMR tubular k-member, BMR tubular front a-arms, HAL "F" series drag shocks and springs, BMR adjustable torque arm, BMR Xtreme Duty drag race sway bar, BMR tubular lower control arms, BMR weld-on LCA relocation brackets, BMR tubular adjustable panhard rod Rodney's car has been raced to a best of 10.433 @ 130.19 mph with a 1.401 sixty foot time. All of this was accomplished on the stock rods, pistons, crankshaft, and cylinder heads. He is the current "camshaft only" ET record holder for LS1 vehicles in the country. Thunder racing a more reputable and respectable force than your self calls this cam only, why because its the only internal engine modification. I mean really how often do you see someone do heads and a intake but leave the exhaust 100 percent stock. You ask for a heads intake car making 300whp and i presented that and your just talking shit to try to hide looking like a dumb ass. your just another idiot who makes 5.0s look bad. so go install your side pipes just like those dumbasses.

2.92 gonna work very well, last thing im gonna say, this will be one hell of a race Sams 26 inch tire c4 2.92 rear 1st 2.46 rpm 5570 mph 60 2nd 1.46 rpm 5509 mph 100 3rd 1.0 rpm 5509 mph 146 verus Anthonys car GM 4l60e ratios 1st 3.06 2nd 1.63 3rd 1.0 4th .70 28inch tire 3.73 gear 1st 3.06 rpm 6437 speed 47mph 2nd 1.63 rpm 6420 speed 88mph 3rd 1.0 rpm 6401 speed 143mph 4th .70 rpm 6392 speed 204mph

miller at your request 315whp 398wtq gt40 heads gt40 intake unequal length shortys custom ground cam 300whp 314wtq gt40 heads and intake and LTs so be amazed at how the above video makes you look like a tool and first off i said gt40 head setups which implied a cam however i should have been more specific although the second video is a stock 93 cobra longblock and stock cam and it still does it. You just have to be one of those people who has the mind set to do something even when others say it isnt possible. Its all about the package.

im with killjoy, good friends are rare. why make them rarier. there are already way to many people who fuck with others/ piss people off. use your efforts to eliminate them, not become them.

Anthonys car Im gonna assume you turn it 6400rpm correct me if im wrong GM 4l60e ratios 1st 3.06 2nd 1.63 3rd 1.0 4th .70 28inch tire 3.73 gear 1st 3.06 rpm 6437 speed 47mph 2nd 1.63 rpm 6420 speed 88mph 3rd 1.0 rpm 6401 speed 143mph 4th .70 rpm 6392 speed 204mph Anthony your car is very well geared for the strip. On paper i tried several other combos 4.10s/ 26 inch tire and both would probably make you run out of gear unless you go past 64xx. Sams car First i have no insight on his car so this is strictly speculation and i will update later if nessecary if he tells me something else is different. Now if i had a stock 5.0 block boosting i would not go past 5500rpm after 500whp if i wanted it to stay together for anytime. However i believe that sam may possibly run out of gear since hes using a c4. I do not know the final drive of the bmw however im gonna list standard mustang ratios to demonstrate my point turbo 5.0 BMW 26inch tire c4 transmission ratios 1st 2.46 2nd 1.46 3rd 1.0 (3.27 ratio) 1st 2.46 rpm 5510 speed 53mph 2nd 1.46 rpm 5491 speed 89mph 3rd 1.0 rpm 5494 speed 130mph (MAXED OUT) Im gonna list the following rpm and speeds to run both 130mph and 135 assuming 130 losses to anthony and 135 takes him. This is not a set in stone formula im making assumption but my only reason for this is showing the gear ratios. 3.55 130mph=5964rpm. 135mph=6193 (this is ugly territory for stock 5.0 block at 500 plus whp) 3.73 130mph=6266 rpm 135mph=6507 3.90 130mph=6552 rpm 135mph=6804 4.10 130mph=6888 rpm 135mph=7153 Ive come to the conclusion that sams car either has 3.73s or 4.10s from my research on the limited vehicle information provided. Simply put unless he gets a overdrive auto or a different gear ratio or possibly fit a 28inch tire and even that i dont believe will be enough and he will runn out of gear
-
im pissed i had a whole chart of speeds with gear ratios ex. shit ill type it again because it brings forward important facts

miller i believe your calculation is incorrect due to the turbo starting to not be as efficient towards the top end. we would need to see the compressor map for the 72 to determinie this for sure. that and some very well done gt40 head setups can approach 300whp n/a when done right. 15 sounds just about right like he stated. Honestly i think both of you guys are gonna try to come on with everything you think you can put out and alittle more. Running 10.30s sams gonna have to make everyone shit a brick out the hole however its dueable. Both these cars a extremely fast however there both screaming fo 9inchs to reach there true potential. you guys both have too much motor for the car and either could break so its really up in the air. Anthony whats your 60 ft and gear. Whats the final drive on the bmw as well. That gears really gonna determine whos gonna run who down in the top end.
