  6. I dont mind complaining. Its the bitching that gets to me. If I went and got my tires rotated, and noticed that i was missing a valve stem cover when I got in my car: If I go back and ask for a replacement, thats a valid complaint. If I go back and tell the manager I'm going to sue him and hes ruined my life, thats bitching.
  7. Only regional restriction is on high center of gravity vehicles, i.e. ford exploders. too much paper work if they roll. only SCCA restriction is that it has to be a production based car..... I've seen plenty of people show up in a hertz........

  11. I kinda do like draco with my WRX, after every other race or 3K-5K out of season(or until the stick color looks questionable). the VW gets changed when I remember to do it, and probably too often because I really dont drive it that much, plus it lacks an odometer. I'd rather over change the oil than have to change the engine.
  12. Whoa whoa whoa. I was going to stay out of this thread, but that statement did me in. not the violence, but the impediment of rights. First let me say that I agree that it is a shame that the media is casting right-wingers in the extremist light, but its the media, they are sensationalists. This is the same media system that was, 8 years ago, trying to say people protesting the war were unpatriotic, the same people who were telling people that disagreed with the previous administrations politics "if you dont like it here, get out." But that is a media problem, we have a huge problem with our media in this country, and while this thread started as a discussion about that its quickly turned into a right vs left discussion as these things usually do. I whole heartily disagree with your statement that the left infringes on more rights than right. I'll concede the 2nd amendment, for some reason people on the left are always trying to take this away, and its stupid. The question of weather or not it should be in the constitution is a non issue. Its the constitution, its what everything is based on. If you start nullifying that document then you begin to chip away the foundation of this country. I think we all can agree on that. But, lets examine the constitutional infringements of the previous administrations 8 years of office. -separation of powers -free press -free speech -privacy -illegal search and seizures -due process -open democracy For me, the offenses are much more egregious constitutional violations than the infringement on the right to bear arms.
  13. No, not by population. I think even Lakewood has columbus beat by % SSC. A few years ago it was rated by a GLBT magazine as the #2 "best place to live" is you were gay.
  14. haha, Its a campus housing area and the weather is nice. Head out there and get to check out all the girls.

  16. I'd wager that compressed air is a much more efficient storage mechanism for electricity than hydrogen electrolysis. I'd have to do some math, but its probably more efficient than the current crop of commercially available batteries too. Now, we know better batteries exist, you just can buy them yet......
  17. First even will probably be in May, but nothing is set in stone.

    Weight Loss

Bill, I used to be up to 195, and I'm a small guy. My suggestion is to cut out sugar from your diet. that includes artificial sweeteners. once you loose your taste for sweet things, your really dont crave them. I haven't eaten any processed sugar in a long time and when there is cake around the office I'm not at all interested in it, because to me, it really doen't taste good. Back in High school I cut out all processed sugar from my diet for 6 months and lost 10 pounds. Oh and +1 on the heart rate thing. Just get your pulse up for at least 30minutes sustained. doesn't really matter what it is, Wii Fit, DDR, Sex. its all about the cardio.
