  1. Welcome! I like the car and the Dog. Pickerington is okay by me. When you said you work for Daifuku I thought of all the times I've driven by the sign. My buddy always asks me what they do there as we go by, I say "I dunno" , and then he yells "Day Fuke You!!!"....gets me everytime.

+1 on the cars and coffee idea. I'm not sure it would be perfect, but I know there is a Cup 'a Joe over by Champs and the movie theater at Lennox Town Center. That would be pretty central and the whole strip mall parking lot is empty early in the morning... just a thought.
  3. This is pretty minor, but I think it would be cool if each "new posts" page were longer. I don't generally look at the first page and think "well that's enough, no reason to look at the rest of the pages".... Just my opinion.
  4. I just wanted to leave a little note thanking the guys at NTB downtown for all their help. I know many people have had good experiences with them, but I think they went a little above and beyond for me. I took my car in for an alignment after installing my coilovers in the fall, and pretty much nothing would work right. We spent 3 hours playing with it, but the car just would not cooperate. I ran into some major issues with 275 tire clearance with correct camber, as well as fighting some old VERY frozen suspension components. Needless to say I fixed all the little problems over the winter with some new suspension links, wheel spacers, longer studs, etc. and Derek was able to work me in today while I had some time! Even after however many months he didn't charge me for another alignment, and Andy set my car up exactly how I wanted it. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/StealthNTBpic.jpg As anybody with a very adjustable suspension knows, fine tuning all the crap into alignment can be a large pain in the ass.... especially on a 15 year old car. I know Derek, Andy, and Dave all put some time into fixing me up. Thanks a lot guys!

I still vote for a hocking hills trip. It's one of my favorite places within an hour or so of Columbus. It's a lot quicker trip as well since they put in the Lancaster bypass route.

  7. I'll take the Penismobile. I think you're all well aware what it will do to your chosen vehicles. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/156/423131944_d3f72c498a.jpg?v=0 and at night http://www.wizzard.com/bm2004/Images/event_waldemar/big/003147Penismobile.jpg
  8. This should do nicely. http://www.geocities.com/pmtreez/pix/terexfinal.jpeg All of your fagmobiles should easily fit in the back ( maybe not the deathstar ).
  9. I will agree that a 1911 just feels right in your hand, but unless he's a real gun guy ( and it sounds like he's not ) he won't enjoy the complexity of tearing down and cleaning a 1911. I know I just bought my dad a Swith and Wesson M&P .45 full size for his 50th birthday. I really liked it and he seems to as well.
  10. Been to Pikes Peak, sweet shit! Standing in clouds FTW! 14,110 feet, I'll never forget it.
  11. Neat exhaust, and neat sounds that come out of it.
  12. I've never got a number out of my car, I might be interested. Are we talking fo' fwee or what kind of money for a pull?
  13. I didn't see this last night because I watched the episodes when they aired originally on BBC, but I do remember seeing the portions you claim are omitted. That is really really stupid. I for one hate the prius and view hybrids in general as a damaging band-aid rather than a truly plausible solution. I'm becoming more and more a diesel fan myself, and it's sad to see the media keeping people in the dark like that. Should we look to Toyota or the government for the push to remove those clips?
  14. If you're into camping, it sounds like you may not be into the tourist-trap scene that is Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. While the Gatlinburg strip and shops can be fun to walk at night, I much prefer to spend my days in the national park. You truly can't see it all in a week or probably even two. I've been there probably 10 times, some camping and some in a hotel. There are difficult hiking trails in the park, and easy walking trails. Some are even paved and wheelchair accessible, so you've got to do some hiking. As was said Clingman's dome is a neat place to drive to assuming the entry road is open, and I personally recommend driving to the "Newfound Gap" within the park well after dark around midnight or so. It's a large overlook area open to the sky, and on a clear night the stars are amazing. There is no light pollution at all as you're at higher elevation and in the dead center of the park.
  15. I'd call this a solid 7.9 http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/jalopnik/2009/01/Darth-Vader_Ariel-Atom.jpg http://jalopnik.com/5134541/darth-vader-trades-in-star-destroyer-for-ariel-atom
  16. This man is SERIOUS about his turbo minivans, ladies and gentlemen.
  17. Pickerington? Me too but you guys have a few years on me.. Either way welcome.
  18. I think it's an improvement, but I still say that the old body style they're trying to replicate looked waaaay better without the rear quarter window, it really ruins the side profile for me on this and the previous generation. Yes there would be a blind spot, but honestly who doesn't turn their head before getting over anyway? I don't rely solely on my mirrors....
  19. I think 614Streets was running a deal on transmission installs a while ago, don't know about rebuilds though. I'd pm him. I'll probably need to do something about the transmission in my dakota here soon...it's getting noisy and a little unwilling to kick down.
  20. Ground turkey + ground beef meatloaf is delicious, with some onions, bread crumbs made from some stale bread... Delicious, and also slightly better for you because of the turkey . Fuck my life?
  21. Go East, young man... Seriously, out near Zanesville and beyond there are plenty of sweet roads. Chances are also really good that you've not seen all of what hocking hills has to offer. There is a lot there aside from the 664/374 area that most are familiar with around Old Man's cave, just go exploring with a good map or gps some time...
  22. OOOOOOoooooooo, i think everyone saw this coming. How will he respond....
  23. What are your plans for it? Looks to be in good shape...
