  1. Man, today IS the day I guess. Gonna need to avoid the internet fo 'bout twenty-fo hours.
  2. +1, white cars ftw. I wish mine made that kind of power .
  3. Welcome, I too am a Mitsu Driver, I swear. What do you cook?
  4. Needs moar red plastic windshield wipers. Welcome, please try not to be the average 240 owner who does EVERYTHING cheap and quick. Think about your purchases and buy good shit, rather than just shit. Do it right or don't do it....
  5. Probably brought back memories of my car . I think CR members probably only bring difficult shit to them...but they always come through!
  6. I recently drove a new focus rental, with the color-changing interior l.e.d. lights and satellite radio. I turned the radio up, put the windows down, turned the traction control off, got a little faggot burnout going, and my buddy started cycling through the interior light colors - instant concert complete with smoke machine and light show. Thing was POS for sure, although it didn't handle horribly.
  7. Thanks guys, let me know. Stimmel, I'm on the East side Pickerington/Canal Winchester. I'll drive to wherever though obviously.
  8. Started my stereo install tonight, and it turns I have to use a spacer to clear the window glass behind the door speaker. It now sticks out enough that I'm going to need to cut out the factory speaker grill in the door panel. I don't like the ugly "momo" grills that came with my polks, so I'm looking for a very simple, preferably with no brand name, round 6.5" speaker grill. Let me know what you've got, thanks.
  9. When people look under my hood and say "man that's really tight in there, it probably sucks to work on", I always say "it is, but not as bad as a 300zx". I know that pain, one of my friends in high school had one as a project.
  10. Yea, that and the fact that my car sits DAMN low now really kills the back. I did change the plugs too while I was in there, even though they didn't really need it.
  11. I do not, but I will most definitely be buying one now.
  12. No biggie, just time consuming. I pulled my intake plenum and fuel rails to swap them out with some I had cleaned up and polished a little bit and I dropped this little round plastic fuel rail mount down in between the cylinder banks, became a HUGE BITCH to get out.... Had to pull a lot more shit than I wanted to, because the water crossover pipe thing that runs through the "valley" kept me from getting to it at all. With everything off I got a good look at my valves though, dem thangs wuz nice and clean . The best though, was that I found two of these little mounts down in there, so somebody had made my mistake before me and gave up and bought a new one . 4 hours later all is well, and now I sleep.
  13. Plastic parts do NOT come out from the deepest darkest holes of your engine with a magnet, no matter how long you try. That is all. As you were, gents.
  14. ....or find yourself some focus SVT wheels . Nice too, nicer in my opinion, and the right centercaps.
  15. Wow, so is insurance going to cut you a check for that? Depending on your jeep it seems like that kind of cost could total a car...if not, congrats .

  17. If you're the guy I'm thinking of, I remember Rolla speaking pretty highly of somebody he said was "basically a genius with tuning", I think I remember him saying he was Nate on CR. Is this you? Just wondering...
  18. Off + lower it more + tint windows
  19. In for this also, as long as it stays somewhere inside the outerbelt . I'll probably be leaving from Pickerington so I won't be real central anyway, but I vote for Bethel or Lennox.
  20. I'm good at remembering meaningless shit forever, and forgetting important shit instantly. Also, I do some voices pretty well.
  21. Nice car, I had a toreador red non-svt before the Stealth and I was VERY strongly considering the 3 liter swap. It's really easy to do and shows great gains when done as a "hybrid" using the 2.5 svt heads. When/if you blow up that motor a full 3.0 is good way to go as well. The owner of fordcontour.org ( Dom is the guy's name ) is kind of a guru for these cars and lives in Akron if you ever plan on making some more power. Nice buy enjoy it!
  22. Just got back to campus from Rob's, we jacked it up and re-tried everything I did over at his place. In the end he agreed that it really just wouldn't work without modification, which lets me know that at least I'm not retarded. I'll have to call the place I bought it from monday, but I may keep playing with it tomorrow. Thanks for all the input guys, and thanks again Rob!
  23. Neither of the pics are of my car, they're from the install guide. Both are of the "expected" mounting fit. Mine doesn't lay against the mount.
  24. Thanks for the thoughts guys. I know it's not on backwards/upside down or anything, because the endlinks line up perfect, and everything is in alignment otherwise. As far as verifying the part, the box it came in had the correct part label on it, but there's obviously no tag on the bar itself... Rob I could come by and see if you could figure it out for me, I'm seriously lost at this point. You mean this afternoon or this week some time?
