  1. Yea, I can't say much for the guy's taste, but he seems to put a hell of a powertrain together. I'll post up some more vids once it sees the track/dyno.
  2. Congrats man, I've been there. I've taught myself how to do quite a bit more than I figured I could, just because I can't really afford to have somebody else do it. I'm definitely glad I did. I remember more than a few times when my dad would come out into the garage and just shake his head like I'll never get it all back together, only to be amazed when he sees it completely perfect and running a few days later - great feeling .
  3. I'd like to see how this car might fair. The guy's name is Ray Pampena, and he's pretty well known among the 3000gt/Stealth ranks, from New York I think. No real pictures of the car racing, but there are a few launch and crappy pull vids out. One of the more badass street cars I've seen on 3si or anywhere really, no track times or real dyno numbers yet though. I'm sure the IPS guys are family with him and the car. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c178/raysinsomnia/0322091705a.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c178/raysinsomnia/0322091705.jpg Apparently it handles liter bikes pretty handily, from one of his posts: "dude you should have seen those bike guys today. they had to follow me to talk some. the gsxr guy was like wtf?? i was going 165 and i could hardly see you anymore! there was 3 other bikes with him that were waaaaay back there lol. even with burning the tires like that i was pulling bus lengths on them lol good times" AND "last time i raced a bike, it was a ZX10 that was already ahead of me when we started. theres nothing like passing him up while hes laying flat with his head tucked and watching him peek over at me bye bye!" Here are a couple shitty vids, just playing on the street: Here are the plans/mod list from one of his posts: "well i have to put my 300M axles in yet. it WILL break one at the track. its running mid 10s g tech with 1.7X 60ft (spinning) on the pump gas. the g tech has always matched track times for me. so id imagine real low 10s on pump with my usual mid 1.5 60ft times at the track. i have no cage at all so it will be a one pass deal 4 plus hours and $50 in tolls away. id like to tune it for race gas and let it rip like that at the track. i REALLY wish i had a track here on the island. so ill probably tune it in on the street with the g tech on race then make a dyno pull if i can. im tempted to go to the Trevor school of big meth and maybe always leave it on pump gas. im bad with mod lists but ill try pampena 3.5 stroker stock head gaskets head lift fix 3sx stage 3 heads (now with ferrea valves) 3sx race cams UR cam gears power enterprises t belt custom intake mani 90mm BBK t body twin GT3082 DBB turbos long tube headers and custom piping tial external gates and BOV GTPRO custom front mount core pampena getrag with bellhousing brace NOCAR t case housing 3SX stainless mid housing rps twin disk clutch 1000cc RC injectors GTPRO fuel system twin walbros 275-35-18 bfg drags SSR ZX speed wheels stock drive shaft and radiator lots of hours and hours AND 1 GREEN APPLE AIR FRESHENER" Just wanted to share, as I was impressed....
  4. Anthony, Dynotune is right here in Columbus, on W. Broad just barely outside of 270. I've never heard of anyone leaving there unhappy. Brian seem's to be a great guy for when you need tuning. Also, as I said I haven't been on chargerforums much lately, as the charger is my dad's car and I was just on there to help him decide which mods to go with. I'm REALLY surprised they still haven't figured out the tuning issues though, is it still fuel related? I remember all the GSM supercharger catastrophes...
  5. That looks like coal mining runoff mud, looks like some serious shit.

    im going to jail

Oh Ledo's, you are soooo trashy. And yet, I play your darts, and bitch at passers-by from your gay little patio.....
  7. I know this is random stuff, but it's basically new and just sitting in my toolbox. Anybody need them?
  8. I began at OSU in Mechanical Engineering, but about 2 years in I switched majors. I may eventually return to ME in some respect after I graduate, but I'm currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science at OSU. I work as an intern at Johnson Controls currently, working part time during school and full time all summer and most quarter breaks.

    C6Antwon.

Well damn if it ain't spring time .
  10. Hey Anthony I used to be active on chargerforums under the same name as here. You might remember, although I'm not on there much anymore. I met you at the first columbus meet at quaker steak I think. Welcome though, try not to step in the shit .
  11. My house should be throwing a party soon enough here. I live on Lane not far from High, I'll pm you some info once things are firmed up. P.S. - I know I generally frequent The Little Bar, Ugly Tuna, and the arena district, you might try those. The warmer it gets the more people will be out - it's directly proportional to temperature it seems.
  12. Sooooo, weird part, but they're hard to find. These are the actual oem filter capsules that lexus and other manufacturers use to give the brilliant yellow headlight/foglight color. The bulb sits inside of these. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSC_0100Large.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSC_0102Large.jpg Looking for $30 Next are these 2.5" jegs band clamps. They're basically new, I just attempted to mount them to my exhaust tips, I found that the tips were slightly under 2.5", so they didn't fit. They've been in my tool box ever since. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSC_0106Large.jpg http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSC_0108Large.jpg Looking for $20
  13. One of my buddies works at Cycle Pro, and he speaks very highly of the owner, Josh. Cycle Pro LLC 14450 E Broad St Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 (614) 571-7399‎ I've heard nothing but good things.
  14. I too have 275s all around, boy did I have to deal with a lot of clearance issues to run coilovers.... Mine sit inside the wheelwells though .
  15. Car looks good indeed, I'm a big white fan myself . I was considering either 3000k hids in the fogs of my stealth, or going with the nokyas. Can you post some more pics of them, maybe some night shots?
  16. I agree. My mom has been a University employee for 20-something years and she has even begun to talk about how poorly things are handled. It's not just students who are affected. All the dumbass policy and bureaucracy are bringing it down; I'm not sure how enthusiastic I'll be about donating tons of money back to the University as an alumni unless things change.
  17. Wait, so a boost gauge? Is it boosted I hope? Other than that it looks clean, I've seen it around somewhere, maybe campus.
  18. I'm still slightly skeptical, but having just attempted it, it seems to work. Neat.
  19. She paid student ticket price, not public? I wonder how OSU coordinates a seating group with friends if you do it that way.... I wouldn't want to chance it.
  20. Do either have the louvers? Might look cool on the wall or something...
  21. Great news! This continues to look more and more promising. On a related note, I'm scheduled to have Andy get my paint looking perfect the Thursday before this. Win!
  22. On a related note, i just got an email from one of my friends who works for athletics, apologizing for the "retardism" of the new system LOL.
  23. I know there are more than a few OSU students on here. I tried to order football tickets this morning through the new ticketmaster-based system the university apparently is using now. Tickets became available at 10am today, i ordered at 10:20, and was left looking at a "processing" screen that said to expect "15+ minutes" of wait time. I waited for 30 minutes before I had to go to class, and left my credit card with my roommate in case if went through while I was gone. Well, it didn't finish until 12:15 after I had returned, and even then the away games I tried to order were "unavailable". Awesome. I managed to get at least the home games ordered but it took 2 hours. Thanks OSU. Anybody else see that the new system is 1,000,000,000% fail?
