  1. Im guessing the lucerne wheels are 17s instead of 16s? That alone would look better. Some deville dts wheels might be cheap and nice too.
  2. I guess now's a good time to buy SAE/Metric Gearwrenches I've wanted. Thanks sir!
  3. I've had mine 4 days . Currently in an otterbox defender case since it's my work phone too. Are Ballistics better?
  4. dad did this with the trailer behind him in Florida near Miami. If I recall correctly it took about 2 months for him to get something about it in the mail. I believe it mailed with a picture of the camper and his truck.
  5. I might be interested in a local option, but I've been very happy with Blackstone as well. I just got a report back last week in fact.
  6. That does look a whole lot like a head shot, dude got what he deserved. All past history aside, start shooting at two cops and this is what should result.
  7. Another longshot perhaps, but can you guys source fleetguard products?
  8. However, if you need anything done quickly they are very backed up. Call Rushman Automotive also.
  9. A year ago or so you guys had Valvoline Premium Blue 15w-40 for like $11 / gallon, whereas it's generally $14-16. My dad and I both use 3 gallons of it per oil change, so if you could get me close to that price again I'd buy all you could get me. Thanks
  10. I agree that up to 8500 lbs or so a half ton should serve you fine, especially if only a 5 or 10 times a year. As far as trailer sway, it can sneak up on you and get pretty severe under braking or downhill. I'd spend a few hundo on an anti-sway hitch setup, and be mindful of loading your trailer as evenly as possible, so you're not nose or tail biased too badly with weight. Check craigslist for hitch setups before buying new too.
  11. Semi-related question. GF has a metal roof, and has been getting quotes for getting it painted. It's a somewhat steep roof, and she was asking me if she is liable for a painter falling off the roof or otherwise getting injured, or if there was a way to exempt her from such liability in a contract. I have no idea, honestly. Anybody clear that up?
  12. I will also add that if you don't want to worry about catching sharks, fish without a steel leader or wire rig. The shark will cut itself loose , easy peasy.
  13. I'm also interested in a set for my grandpa's bass boat. The wheels are rusted to hell and tires are dry-rotted. I was actually thinking about some alloys from Pick N Pull, since they are 5 x 4.5, but I'm not sure on offset.
  14. That's well outside of it's listed capacities and not really saying much. I would question what exactly "hauled" means. A lot of half ton trucks, ecoboost or not, can move that much weight. I doubt it could hardly stop it, and I doubt very strongly that he spent much time on a freeway with it, if any. If he did he's a dumbass regardless.
  15. Sounds like I'm going to go check out this car tomorrow or Sunday. I'm just waiting on a call back from the owner. Sounds like the car needs new CVs, a front brake job, a new radiator, and a valve cover gasket. She's only sent me one pic so far and from the side I can see the car is free of rust aside from a quarter size area on the rocker, just ahead of the rear wheel well... We'll see. And Clay, I'll let you know bud .
  16. That hurts to watch.
  17. PM me your number too, I'll show the GF's dad.
  18. Thanks for the replies so far. I'm anxious to find out what it needs, so I can settle on a reasonable price.
  19. A friend of my parents has a 90 or 91 civic hatchback, which they bought new and have used to commute between Arlington and OSU for work for the last 22 years. I told them several years ago that if they ever get rid of it I may be interested. They contacted my mom last night saying the car needs a "$1000 repair" and that they are going to sell it, so I'm waiting for the rest of the info.... - Paint is Red (not yet sure on condition, but used to be nice) - Manual Trans - 87k miles - Thing was maintained religiously, per the Owner's Manual Not sure on whether it's a DX/LX/EX, but I know it's not an SI. Obviously this will tell me what motor/trans it has. I had my mother find out what repair it needs, how much rust if any it has, and how much they're asking for it. What problem areas should I look for, and about how much would be reasonable to offer them (they're not enthusiasts, just an older couple). Depending on what the car needs it could become a little mileage machine for me, or something to swap cheaply. Any insight on common/easy swaps for these would be helpful too.
  20. I would probably hold out for the 2014 if buying a new gm truck. They have significant improvements over the current model. If they start slashing prices on the 2013 trucks I might be swayed, but otherwise wait.
  21. Samesies, I'm assuming things blew up?
  22. Saw this on reddit and figured I'd share. It disturbing and sad, certainly, but also undeniably interesting. http://i.imgur.com/geeVvrG.jpg Apparently it's not brand new or anything, but new to me - the only info I have is the caption for it: "Pakistani security officials inspect the site of a suicide bomb blast targeting a Kotwali police station in Peshawar, Pakistan, 24 February 2012."
