  1. One of these with a Honda VFR V-4 motor would be ridiculous fun. For example:
  2. 6:59 is the best part. 7:30 would be pure terror too I'm sure.
  3. I entered that raffle for the Cobra. June 22nd baby, I expect a phone call
  4. Beautiful car sir. What is the status of the warranty on this with respect to the APR Flash?
  5. If anybody goes tomorrow (Friday) post up if they have a 2013 Mega Cab ram there. It's bigger than the crew cab, and looks like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dolPs7O7dRs/UGeU1ypeGlI/AAAAAAAAGqg/9mdLWqzWri4/s1600/Ram+2500+Laramie+Mega+Cab+%282013%29+Rear+Side.jpg Most dealers don't have any in stock yet, and my dad is interested in one.
  6. I used the HR Block software and received my direct deposit last week.
  7. +1 I could recap my own story, but I think enough people already know. I think a lot of people have the mechanical skills to open a successful shop, but do not have a grasp of the business/customer service basics. Just be honest and upfront with your customers, be reasonable about how you will be able to meet expectations. My biggest problem with smaller shops, Rob's included, is promising more than they can deliver timewise. I would have much rather heard "I can't do it that soon, I'm probably 2 weeks out" instead of being lied to and having a vehicle held hostage for weeks/months....
  8. The cheeks are your only line of defense, an early warning system if you will. Spreading your cheeks opens you up to a world of shit(s).
  9. Cover of car and driver this month shows it as a 2-seater.
  10. Ordered the cable from the dealer, just haven't picked it up yet. That is exactly what my dad does though and it does help. Problem is that I have a work truck that I drive through the week, so my personal truck gets driven at random times after work hours. I don't really run on a set schedule, and there are days I don't drive it at all.
  11. Daily is my Cummins, so far I've done: -Forged Power Wagon Alcoa wheels -EGR valve delete -EGR cooler delete -Turbo Back exhaust/catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter delete -EFIlive tune(s) -Soon to have a South Bend dual disc (necessary so maybe not a mod) Truck has only been tuned since January, and it's giving me around 18mpg on winter blend fuel, and letting it high-idle warmup for 15 minutes when cold. 20mpg should be easy this summer.

  13. And a fine job he did, even with 5" stainless!
  14. Doing something like this for my parents one day is major goal of mine. My dad's would be a 68 Torino though.
  15. I agree with most of the "way overpriced" comments, but he is describing it as being a complete restoration as much as just an LS motor swap car.
  16. Guy from Dayton has this car for sale, thought there might be some interest here since it's local. The link: http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/misc-trucks-vehicles-sale/576235-restored-camaro-lsx-swap-trade-cummins.html TEXT: Located in Dayton, Ohio - Asking $13,000 - will trade for something worth 13k or more has to be ext cab 4x4 no rust/dings/dents Heres the important details: Ultra Blue Metallic '89 IROC-Z hardtop (painted in the fall of 2010) Zero rust, underbody was cleaned and painted same time as the body Mileage on the body is unknown, but I can assure you everything that needed attention was replaced The chassis is solid, there are no issues . There are no issues with the drivetrain, it starts, runs, and drives as it should. The rebuilt tranmission shifts firm. The engine is a '98 Ls1 with a 2002 ECM and wiring harness so it has the better tuning capabilities. New parts installed at the time of the swap: Headliner Carpet Door panels Inner and outer window sweeps 225lph Walbro fuel pump Speaker grill covers Sun visors The interior is extremely clean. dash pad is like new no cracks at all It has crank windows, power locks, manual mirrors, rear defrost, has the dash wiring for cruise but I didn't hook it up yet, has a/c hooked up with the swap. Modifications besides the swap: Shorty style hooker headers with all new exhaust system, high flow cat and back to a flowmaster muffler with stock looking turn down tail pipes under the bumper, extremely sleeper looking! Custom made polished aluminum cold air kit with a K&N cone filter 4th gen windshield washer and coolant overflow tanks 4th gen rear end with 3.42 gears and Ls1 rear disc brakes http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m568/white86z28/1355253370835.jpg http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m568/white86z28/f0de519d.jpg
  17. Yea I would rather expect that to be automatic. We'll see. I'm having dinner w/ a Honda friend tomorrow maybe I'll ask.
  18. Rushman Automotive, they are a transmission exclusive shop and do good work. I believe they have a Hilliard and a Pickerington location.
  19. Width also? Get some pictures up if you can. This might be decent for my parents garage. Their old one is dying a slow death.
  20. Apparently a car flipped on the 270s to 161 ramp, at the decreasing radius turn there. That location seems popular for flipping your car if that's what you're into.
