  1. My boss sent out a text that said "gents, use your best judgement, be safe, and work from home if your schedules allow." I've only spoken to one co-worker today who is on a jobsite.
  2. That does not seem consistent with most gas/diesel model comparisons I've seen. Not sure what's different about the Q7. I'm inclined to write it off as a heavy vehicle, but that really doesn't make sense either.
  3. Yea so far map shows the Snow/Ice line well below central ohio, but we're obviously still on the leading edge right now. I hope it holds steady and produces a defcon 5 no driving allowed snow emergency in the morning.
  4. I might be interested, pending more details. If its a supplier I'm familiar with I'd be more convinced. Getting stuck with 1000 rounds of something my MP doesn't like would suck.
  5. If I recall, you "stitch" these on yourself. http://www.wheelskinscover.com/Ford-1998-Mustang-Wheelskins-One-Color-p/ford-ws1-mustang-034.htm
  6. And I remember them being all over antique stores for nothing. We have several hung up in the basement.
  7. I believe the MP pro is a longer barrel and some trigger work, the night sights seem to be on most but I'm not sure all of them.
  8. Glad to hear this, sounds positive for sure though clearly still a tough process. It sounds like you're doing a great job getting your head around all the info too. Good luck in the coming weeks bud!
  9. Rei and field and stream both should be cool, and I have never been in either. I feel like Cabelas at Polaris missed an opportunity by going with a (comparitvely) small store for ohio.
  10. Is this a new platform yet or still based on the old sebring/avenger? Looks better but just okay, not great, kind of like a Dart/Sonata hybrid.
  11. Good info. As for the .22 though, the Canal Winchester wally world sometimes has .22 Thunderbolt as well, but they only sell it as boxes of 50, and enforce their 3 box limit, so I quit even checking.
  12. Internet pic, but its an Old Town Dirigo Angler 120, in tan like this one. Front and rear rod holders, cupholders, retractable anchor, really good seat. Should be sweet. http://img2.findthebest.com/sites/default/files/1624/media/images/Old_Town_Dirigo_120_Angler_627542_i0.jpg
  13. I got a nice fishing kayak. Cabelas had it on clearance months ago, I almost bought it but decided to skip it to save money. Turns out family went back and got it for me - it has been in my uncles garage for months. Pretty sweet gift!
  14. At least half the car's value, if not all of it.
  15. I will be in touch thanks. I might even be interested in a group deal for myself, dad, uncle, and perhaps grandpa.
  16. So, one of the gifts I had ordered for my father is seemingly indefinitely backordered, so my plan B is maybe enrolling he and I both in a shooting class of some kind. He's very familiar with rifles and shotguns, but he and I are both relative noobs to handguns. To be honest, he's an awful shot with a pistol and would like to get better. I'm decent but could use some help too, and unfortunately I'm not a great teacher. Any thoughts on local firearm classes that might fit the bill? So far my research shows me many very specific classes that seem to focus on defensive shooting, CCW-specific training/testing, or random skills like one-handed weapons manipulation, etc. etc. I'm probably looking for something more advanced than your basic firearm safety course, but less serious than "tactical" skills development. I feel like a CCW course may not fit the bill here, but maybe I'm misinformed. Thanks -Scott
  17. If that's the case there was no 20gb for that gen, only the onboard 4gb storage. Your options are then to plug in a flash drive or just slap a standard laptop HDD in there ( which is what I did on my last 360 S).
  18. I believe I have one... let me check Edit: Just grabbed this enormous picture from google, but I have the top one - I believe it's the 20 gig. I also have a transfer cable that can go with it. http://www.narragansett.k12.ri.us/nhs/computer/Second_Semester_07-08/second_semester_2008_Period_2A/DylanaPagsXbox360/images/HARDDRIVES.jpg Not looking to get anything for it, but I could meet you in Reynoldsburg some time, maybe tomorrow or some day this week after work - just let me know.
  19. Eddie Fisher (or his son) are both fantastic, honest guys. Fisher Marina in Millersport.
  20. Very nice truck, and definitely a nice big cab. I think Ram's Megacab may still be larger, but you do have to go 2500 or 3500 to get it. My dad just bought this '14 3500 Megacab and it's really just ridiculous inside, seats are heated/cooled, rear seats recline, etc.: http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x33/spankis/20131103_1432061_zps82106a7a.jpg I'll have to get some pics next time I see him. His back window does NOT roll down though, which is a pretty cool Tundra feature.
  21. My Xbox One has a problem, and I'm in the process of returning/replacing it. The wireless controller won't stay connected. Every 10-15 minutes it disconnects, and up pops a huge "reconnect controller" message before it reconnects on its own after 10-20 seconds. Changed batteries, turned off devices that might have been causing interference, still same issue... Microsoft wanted me to mail the controller back to them (on my dime) and then send me a replacement after they received it. I said screw that and contacted Amazon, where I bought it. They sent me a new controller same day, and just asked me to return the bad one. Fast forward to today, the new controller arrived - same issue. Controller disconnected 3 or 4 times in 20 minutes. After speaking to Microsoft tech support, it sounds like the console is obviously the issue, rather than two bad controllers in a row. Contacted Amazon just now, and I've got shipping labels to return everything. The replacement xbox will be here friday. GOOD TIMES
  22. So no major injuries? Seems like a pelvis or something major could be crushed with that kind of impact. Dude is lucky and safety engineering is amazing.
  23. I will be in the market for a 19 - 27" bedroom flat panel tv for the GF. Decent sound and built-in tuner are my only real requirements since it will not have a cable box, just OTA network HD. As long as it's a reputable brand I think my standards can be met through some BF deal. Buying an "element" 55 inch though, wowie.
  24. Okay thanks, I'll pass that along. I'll keep my eye on this thread if anything changes.
  25. Parents are debating on leaving for Florida later this week (towing a 34' Camper down to the Keys). I've been watching the weather, but they have been trying to decide if leaving Friday would be fine, or if it would be advantageous to bail on Thanksgiving and leave Wednesday or Thursday early before the roads are awful. We'll see what plays out!
