  1. I don't think so. I had a highway run with my buddies Ats-V with the mods described. It was a dead even run with my 450rwhp G8, which would get walked by lightly modified Cts-V's.
  2. Loved my old Sho, had it in the 12's with tune/exhaust. I was just looking yesterday to see how their market was holding.
  3. I had an 2001 Gts for a couple years, and now into a 1999 Gts for the past several years. Whoever says that they are always broken down is full of sheet. In six years ownership between the two, I've only needed to replace the power steering pump. Replaced the pulley with it since they are also known to go since they are factory plastic. Like any other car they have their little annoyances of a 20 year old car. I haven't noticed the lack of abs now in the 99', but I've driven cars without it before. I've been thinking about adding a newer Acr to go along with it. Prices have definately gone up over the past couple years on the Gts model. But you never really know what they actually sell for.
  4. Used to have a 99' Gtp coupe I bought from Jack Cook, it aledgedly was the first GP in the 12's. Thing was goofy, had rear shocks to raise the ass end at the track and a huge chiller tank in the trunk. Also had a 98' Gtx white w/blue stripes which was one of my favorite cars.
  5. Nice find! I find myself looking at these again, miss my old one.
  6. A DD with adequate power and unique looks? Selling my G8 in spring, not many Hsv Gts look a likes running around town.
  7. Congrats, they are great cars. I think I will finally sell mine this year after 11 years.
  8. It was nice to see the Camaro make a comeback, really like the ZL1's. Also really liked the Sho as a daily driver, I realize it isn't for everyone. Lowered made a huge difference and it was a reliable 12 second daily.
  9. Damnit, just bought a new one a couple weeks ago. For what its worth to others, its a pretty good deal. Cheapest I found new was $850 for the pair.
  10. Thats OK, I'll be retired and in no hurry.
  11. I have a couple of Backyard Buddies in my back garage. Not the cheapest lifts but seem to be very good quality.
  12. Very jealous! Looking at houses up in Calabash for when I retire. Enjoy the weather!
  13. As much as Maple Hts changed on you, so has your old place in Lyndhurst. Seems like the police respond to Brush almost daily.
  14. I grew up in Richmond Hts and still remember my dad's car getting stolen from the Euclid mall. Did you go to Brush Tim?
  15. Which is probably within walking distance for your wife.
  16. I've used Verizon for personal phones for the past 20 years, always had good service. My work recently switched over to Sprint to save a buck and it BLOWS! The dropping of calls comes and goes. The worst is probably the network speed when on the internet. Sometimes it just sits and spins while my wife's Verizon phone loads right up. Customer service isn't very good either, its taken them six months to finally get a bill correct. I would never willingly go through Sprint.
  17. Welcome, very nice duo of cars you have.
  18. Congrats man! Like I told you in my other post about my friend that had recently done the same thing. He is loving it and its like a huge weight has been taken off his shoulders. Just sold one of his flip houses in a week.
  19. I've been around a lot of LE agencies and have never heard one thing about Waze being an issue. Unless you are one of the tiny departments that stay afloat by writing citations, I don't think anyone really cares.
  20. I used to love my job. After nearly 25 years I would say that I now tolerate it. Law enforcement has changed dramatically in my days, and really went down hill with the Obama administration (not looking to get into the political aspect). The best parts of the job come along with the worst parts with it. Helping families get closure is rewarding but dealing with middle of the night calls to violent crime scenes takes it toll. My city pays well, gives great benefits, and the security of a pension is nice. I don't think I would do it again in today's climate if I started over. I think the worst part personally is that the job will change you as a person. I'm a much different person than I was twenty years ago.

  22. While I don't like most dealership dealings, Jordan is a straight up guy. He has even offered fair offers to buy cars I was selling.
  23. Count me as 1 of the six that would buy one then. A performance awd truck would be great, too bad I'm not into diesels.
  24. Trying to sell a car for a friend. It was his dad's car who is in the hospital, and my buddy is currently out of state in the military. I've been driving the car for a couple of weeks, it runs really well. It will need the wheel bearing, guessing about 300-350 fix. The rust is a bit worse than the pictures show. It would make for a good winter car or hooptie for someone. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/2004-subaru-impreza-ts-sport/6709314217.html Bottom line for CR members- $1600. He wants to give his mom a grand and recover the other 600 for the money he just put in it.
