  1. Its been a few years since buying a toy so I decided now would be a good time. My daughter has been mad ever since I sold our Gen II Viper a few years ago. It was red and for some reason I just didn't like the color, weird I know. After looking for a blue/white Gts, I came across either owners that wanted too much for the color or cars with issues. I found a local one that had some oil leaks (no biggie) but a loud knock from the tranny. It just didn't feel right so I passed even the price was right. I then came across this, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/Darkside/8a33dc96-22cd-439c-9f04-cb4154b0bca9_zpsnhbzsbgx.jpg 99' and only 1 of 22 made in silver with painted blue stripes. I'm thrilled that it came with some nice cosmetic mods as well as the original stock pieces. Already added some dark tint (after the pic) and I'm considering a Gen V looking spoiler.
  2. I've had two 335xi's, an 07' and 08'. I didn't have any major issues with either one. I had one sit outside for a month without driving it and it caused brake issues from the rust. Dealership pissed me off on that one. At first they were going to fix it under warranty by turning the rotors. Then stated that BMW doesn't cover corrosion so it became a non warranty fix. Then they wanted $1200 to change the front brakes and said that they were unable to turn the rotors, 'since it was unsafe'. Other than that they were great cars and I've considered getting another one.
  3. I've got an 06 in the same color with 56k miles. Great truck, can't see myself ever selling it. Driving calmly in rural areas I get 17mpg which surprised me. I don't think you can go wrong, their asking price is a great deal already.

    Garage Lift

I have 2 Backyard Buddy lifts in my 2 car garage and my ceiling height is 11'. They sell similar jack lifts like above to go with their lifts. Top notch lifts, located in Warren OH, and remember that you get what you pay for. Don't buy some cheap Chinese lift and pray that it doesn't collapse on your car underneath.
  5. The 5 is 10" longer and only 3" wider than the 3, not much of a difference IMO. Plus the 535 or 550 are probably out of his desired price range. If they are in the range then I would bet they wouldn't be under warranty. If you drive the four vehicles mentioned, the 335 isn't like the other 3 at all.
  6. Have owned the G8, V, and a couple of 335's. G8 would be my first choice. All around great car, while I haven't driven it in winter most owners do and they seem to do well. The weight ratio on the car is pretty close to 50/50 from what I recall. The styling seems more unique than the other choices. The Bmw's are everywhere and the first gen V's are outdated. Honestly I felt like the 335 was a females car, actually it was my wifes. It might as well not have a backseat, no one could sit behind me when driving and I'm only 6'1". It handled well but it seemed boring when it came down to power. There is no way I would want one out of warranty, and the turbos seem to be a common issue.
  7. Being a decade older than JP, its been entertaining reading your maturity through the years. Cleveland gets a bad rap in general, all depends on which suburb you choose to live in. But I still plan on moving to one of the Carolina's when I retire, tired of hibernating cars for 5-6 months of the year.
  8. I'd suggest a Sho. Fits into your price range and fairly easy to run 12's.

    Sleep Apnea

Honestly the whole process blows. I went in for a sleep study and the told me I had moderate sleep apnea. Went back in for a test fit with a machine and could not get the mask to form a seal so it kept waking me up. After about the fifth time of falling asleep to get woken up by someone to fix it I said fuck it and left. Went back again and finally got a machine. I've yet to make it through the night fully while wearing the mask. I can usually get about 4-6 hours with in on before ripping it off. I tend to breath through my mouth and occasionally the machine will fill my stomach with air. You want to talk about some awesome mid morning farting. Honestly I haven't worn it in months.
  10. Take an uber downtown and hit the Tilted Kilt and Casino, just across the street from each other.
  11. Good luck, but I think you are going to need some sticky tires to get into the 11's.
  12. He claimed cai, catback, and tune.
  13. Its funny because I pulled on a guy with a lightly modded S4. We pulled over afterwards and he told me how he was selling it and considering the Sho for a replacement. The Sho in the article should run lower 12's. They are great cars and I wouldn't mind getting another one someday.
  14. Very nice, looks great. My G8 is officially the longest I've ever owned a car.
  15. Wow you guys are rough. I've always thought 60-70% for a good salvage, assuming no flood or major frame damage.
  16. Mine dynoed 361 with tune and exhaust, and it ran 12.90's. The Sho's are very fun cars!
  17. I'll pass this along to my brother, he is switching out his red interior.
  18. Anyone looking to flip/part it are last.
  19. Interested in buying it as well.
  20. As were mine being a Srt. With the parts listed above, where are the other 10k in parts that need replaced from your quote?
  21. Wow, what a shame. That seems like an extremely high quote to fix it. My Charger was hit much harder than yours and it cost me less than 5k to fix with used parts. I would definately try to buy it back and get it fixed at a more reasonable location.
  22. All my cars have 50% on the windshield, can't drive without it now.
  23. They're in business to make money and I've always been treated fairly there. Just hooked me up a couple weeks ago on my headrest project.
  24. Cleveland Pick a Part? I saw a few C4's over there last week.
  25. I had them bad a few years ago. Went out and bought a handful of traps, they were plastic rectangles with one door. Each night I would put them over the common holes I was seeing. They come out of the holes at night and right into the trap, they suffocate by morning. After a week I had killed about 6 of them and it ended the problem.
