  1. Insurance is the same, I've had numerous rebuilt titles insured with State Farm. Some banks get goofy with loans but I never had any issues with credit unions. I've owned three rebuilt title vehicles so far, 2 were accident related with no frame damage and the other was a theft recovery.
  2. I've listened to these guys on the radio more times than I wanted to. The spotter gives the description of the car, its exact location and lane of travel. He follows it until the officer on the road gets behind it and confirms it over the radio. Unless there is a loophole that requires the spotter to be in court I think it would be tough to beat.
  3. For a long time I've read posts raving about Jordan and the Jet Auto Group dealership. I've got to post that I couldn't agree more. Jordan is a great guy to do business with and makes the process easy. Now go out and find the right ZL1 so I don't have to travel the country to bring one back!
  4. First time I've heard of someone actually seeing one. Its funny what people will pay for a name. For the record, my old Sho would whoop your Caddys ass from a dig.
  5. Thanks for the info guys. I've had some good and some bad offers from Carmax in the past. Just figured I'd give it a try since I'm coming down there anyways. Wish I had the cash laying around to pay it off and unload it at auction myself. Damn things are going for 29-31k at auction.
  6. Couple tirekickers but no luck so far. I'm bringing it down to Columbus in two weeks to see what Carmax would give me.
  7. Very nice! It responds pretty well with a tune. The last time I checked my mileage I got 24mpg with mostly rural driving.
  8. Down to $29,900 to get the under 30k searchers. I'm hoping I don't have to demod and sell at auction at this point.
  9. Basic rundown: started life as a 09' GT, currently has 13k miles. Hsv Gts front clip, fenders, wheels, rear spoiler, badging, Aftermarket AU hood. Made friends with someone in AU and had everything brought over in two boat shipments, and a few things by air. Performance: Vector Motorsports Heads and a pretty large cam, ported intake, full Stainless Works exhaust, Yank stall converter and other basic mods. Couple of visual mods under the hood but nothing over the top. Made 447/411 on a Mustang dyno and sounds wicked. Spends 99% of the time perched on a lift. Hate to admit it but I have more money in mods than the cost of the car.
  10. Couple hours away but a bit out of the norm..... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/Darkside/HSV%20GTS/gtsangle.jpg
  11. I remember a couple of years ago making a thunder run down to Atlanta and back. We saw 36 cruisers set up running traffic, and 34 out of 36 were in OH. While being a bit overzealous with speeding, I've had more BS pullovers in other states.
  12. Updated pic..... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/Darkside/IMG_1019_zpsd70b13dd.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v603/Darkside/IMG_1015_zps09478564.jpg
  13. Looking at 31k firm right now which includes the extended warranty. 30k if the warranty is not wanted.
  14. Did you notice that you are the only one talking about Mustangs in a thread that they clearly don't belong in? J/K, I really dig the new stangs but don't see them in the same class.
  15. Unfortunately too many officers are becoming too reliant on tasers. Sometimes a hands on ass whooping is in order. This video is really embarassing for the officers. While the guy fought through the taser (probably not good probe penetration), he really fights like a girl. He should have been taken down and choked out.
  16. Tims a good guy, I remember him from the GTP days. I believe that time is good for third fastest now correct?
  17. I think you missed a few political groups to associate with every police officer on the streets. Are you a Sovereign?
  18. Its my G8 conversion into a Hsv Gts. But seriously the Sho would exceed any expectations you would have.
  19. Spend another 5k and buy my Sho. I guarantee it has more options, runs 12's, more room/style, good mpg, and has 5yr remaining full warranty. Its already taken its big hit in resale.
  20. The garage door had one panel added to it and the rails were extended to the ceiling. The added panel allows for a normal size arm to still grab the door.
  21. Yep, just the Jeep missing from the garage.
  22. The Sho has been a great car; awd for the winter, all the gadgets inside, and a fairly quick car. It actually handles the snow with all seasons better than the Jeep with Blizzaks. The Holden is my money pit. Bought it new and have put way too much time and money into her. But its been a great car as well. The lifts are great for storage and packing as much in as possible. This is what is driving the sale of the Sho. I bought property not long after buying the Sho and want to pay everything off before building. Next house is going to have a 6 car garage, I've had it with small garages.
