Basically what this rounds down to is websites (say columbus racing) aren't paying time warner or wow or whomever anything to let their content be delivered to their users. Well, CR makes money off ads, and the internet providers think they should get some of that money, so they want to charge an access charge to get to a number of websites. That's one of the underlying things behind all of this bullshit. Money. Greedy corporate fucks. /drunkrant

Radeon 5670 or 4870 Not really. I ran a single 4870 on a Q6600 (consumes more power than an i7 I think) along with tons of drives on a 500watt powersupply for two years. I crossfired them and now have a 620w antec. My system is only pulling 450 watts from the wall at full load. Take into account the ~80% efficiency of my power supply now and thats roughly 360w being drawn by the system. Video card power draw is drastically overstated to prevent people from using shitty chinabay 400watt supplies.

Don't be too quick to deny this incredibly common misconception. If an improper metal is used for a spring (ie: NOT spring steel) then constant compression will likely cause it to fail or suffer degraded lifespan/performance. Super cheap chinese mags may use improper/shitty metals, so it is entirely possible for this to happen, although very unlikely.
