DVD screeners of it popped up about 3 weeks ago. I'm fine waiting another few weeks for the Bluray rips.

Right now I think OSU will end up just not taking a QB in this class. Don't really need one. When 2016 rolls around here's what the depth chart will probably look like... JT Barrett - redshirt junior Stephen Collier - redshirt sophomore Joey Burrow - redshirt freshman Torrance Gibson - redshirt freshman Then 2017 you have the possibility of all those players returning and add Danny Clark. Don't really need more than 4 QB's on the roster.
-
It was true freshman Matt Barkley.

35-3 was enough of a statement but yeah... they could have put up 60 easily. Don't think I expected that from Petey at the time. I don't get USC being so high. Yes, they'll be fielding the closest thing they've had to a full roster in a while but Steve Sarkisian is their coach. I don't think he's very good at all. They're coming off a FG win in the Holiday Bowl vs. a Nebraska team without a HC. Sounds like a top 3 team to me!
-
Yeah, I'm not sure what changed that made them move OSU ahead of TCU. Signing day happened and obviously TCU isn't going to have a top 10 class. I think their first set was before the deadline for players to declare too so Cardale staying and giving OSU at least one healthy QB with experience going into spring ball may have helped too.

I've re-watched so much stuff over the last month. Watched the regular broadcasts of the Sugar Bowl and NCG again. Watched the Finebaum Film Room version of the Sugar Bowl to hear the SEC people get really, really cocky up 21-6 just to see their world come crashing down. Watched the Film Room, ESPN Voices and Oregon radio call versions of the NCG. Watched the BTN Journey for the B1G title game again this morning. I think I'm going to re-watch the Navy and VT games sometime soon just to appreciate how far the team came.

There's some stuff that you won't be able to appreciate in Better Call Saul if you watch it first. Right off the bat. But I guess if you watch Better Call Saul first then you'll have a different appreciation of stuff when you do go to Breaking Bad. I watched both episodes yesterday and it was pretty good. Nice seeing some familiar faces and just like it was interesting watching Walt's transformation it will be interesting to watch Saul's. Some have pointed it out but I'll reiterate... remember Breaking Bad's first season. It was kinda slow. I love going back and re-watching the first season and a half now that the series is over but getting through it initially it wasn't obvious how amazing the series was until about halfway through season 2.

It's the off-season now so hopefully this will last through spring ball/the spring game. ESPN's second version of their way too early top 25 came out the other day... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/12289032/ohio-state-buckeyes-lead-post-signing-day-2015-way-too-early-top-25-rankings 1. Ohio State 2. TCU 3. USC 4. Alabama 5. Baylor 6. Oregon 7. Michigan State 8. Georgia 9. UCLA 10. Clemson 11. Notre Dame 12. Auburn 13. Arizona 14. Ole Miss 15. FSU 16. LSU 17. Wisconsin 18. I don't have much of an issue with Weber. All he said in the whole thing was he was hurt and that's fine. Everything else was Wilcher and Michigan fans/media. Weber didn't tweet or say anything to the media from Thursday until yesterday.
-
#1 RB in the country for 2016, 5* recruit, Buckeye commit from NJ... Kareem Walker... so much more mature than anyone involved with the Mike Weber situation...
-
Bingo. Dude played at Michigan with Harbaugh. This whole thing is happening because he did everything in his power to get Weber to Michigan to play for his college buddy and it didn't work so now he's using this as his opportunity to try and hurt OSU as much as possible. I hope Urban never speaks to Wilcher again to be honest. Dude's making demands of one of if not the best coach in the country after what he did? Setting up a secret visit for Weber without the OSU staff's knowledge? Nope. Shut 'em down. Wilcher, you just cost your future players a chance at playing for a national title contender 3 1/2 hours away. Enjoy.

Yeah, I couldn't believe what I was reading on reddit last night. "This is shady." "I don't want to trade morality for titles." They were freaking out about the "oversigning" (obviously the staff has a much better understanding of the numbers in-house than anyone outside just looking at names on a list - Urban said we're at 85 or 86 on signing day - not the 91 that everyone keeps spouting), Drayton and then the KJ Hill thing. I was downvoting OSU fans left and right.
-
Apparently they didn't straight up offer the job 2-3 days ago. They let it be known that they wanted to interview him and he had 2 days to decide if he wanted the interview or not before they moved on to their next candidate. He went out to Chicago yesterday for the interview, they offered and he accepted. So it's not like he had accepted the job then he and Urban kept it from Weber. There was definite interest but he didn't even have a firm offer until yesterday. So there was absolutely nothing scummy or immoral about this situation. The timing makes it look questionable but when you look at the facts it was perfectly fine. Nothing like say TCU whose DC held off on announcing his retirement until after they had their class secured. Unfortunately no one outside of OSU fans will look at the facts and this will just be another dirty thing OSU and Urban Meyer did to win.

Weber's lead recruiter was Coombs, not Drayton. Coombs handles Detroit. I'm sure Drayton had a lot to do with his recruitment as his future position coach but know that Weber's best relationship on staff is with Coombs. With that said... I knew about Drayton and the Bears 2-3 days ago. They offered and told him he had 2 days to decide. So who knows if he had made up his mind or not before working to keep Weber on signing day. Hell, maybe the whole Weber saga made him like the idea of not having to recruit in the NFL. As far as Walker is concerned for 2016... Ed Warinner is the point man on that one. Walker called Warinner specifically as the team went from the hotel to AT&T Stadium to let him know he was going to tweet his commitment at halftime. I'm sure Urban will find a solid replacement. Pretty funny... one of the 2 names popping up for his replacement is Vince Marrow from Kentucky. Recently turned down the TE coaching job at Michigan. With the way Kentucky's recruiting class tanked at the end I'm sure he'd love to jump ship. Another name is Tony Alford, current WR coach at Notre Dame. Crossed paths with Urban for a year when Urban was a WR coach at CSU and Alford was a RB for CSU. Very early hypothetical but if it's Marrow they could just slide Hinton over to RB's since he's coached that before and Marrow hasn't. If it's Alford, he played RB and coached RB's for most of his career.

That's the biggest thing. I live in Pickerington and work in Pickerington. TWC at home is perfect. I have just internet from them, have my own modem, my own separate router, etc., etc. and 50mbps service. 99.9% of the time I test around 56mbps down and 6mbps up. At the office, on the other side of town, TWC Business Class is only 15/2 and I typically get around 16mbps down but upload? The most important bit for what I do? Regularly see 0.1mbps. It's awful. Have had to come home to send larger files to clients multiple times in the last few weeks. If/when the TWC/Comcast merger goes through and this area gets sold off to Charter I'll probably have to go back to WOW. They've been going through a transitional period because they overextended themselves when they bought a bunch of shitty ISP's in the south (Florida, Alabama, etc.) but hopefully by the time I have to run away from Charter they'll have their shit in order (I switched to TWC from them due to latency issues caused by new routing as a result of their new acquisitions). I believe they're offering 110mbps down now too.

I definitely prefer the 247composite because certain services are better at rating different regions than others so it averages them out. All of the stuff about Bama not having the #1 class and OSU beating them/winning 100% of the CFP national titles is just messing with jive.
-
You could still end up with Cowart as well. Hasn't sent his LOI to Auburn yet.
-
You guys are literally paying Muschamp to steal recruits from you right now. Definitely a shitty situation. Stealing Scarlett from Miami must have felt good though.
-
Alabama has won 0 CFP national titles. OSU has won 100% of them. Stating nothing but facts cannot render me dumb. :gabe:
-
And, as I've pointed out before, zero CFP national titles to show for it. Keep winning signing day, we'll win the games. When OSU flipped 3-star South Carolina DB commit Damon Arnette the other night a similarly ignorant Bama fan on reddit replied with "What's a 3-star?" I had to give him some visuals to show him what some 3-stars look like so I'll help you out just the same... Here's one catching a game-changing TD against a 5-star CB... Here's one stiffarming a 5-star safety... Here's one sacking a 4-star QB... Here's one making the game-sealing INT over a pair of 4-star WR's... I hope this has been educational for you.
-
No one. Your list is missing Branden Bowen. OSU is done.

This Detroit area announcement thing was a mess due to school closings, had to change venues and whatnot but it's finally official... Weber sticks with OSU. 4/4 on the day. A good Tweet from Birm... http://i.imgur.com/UDe3gpP.jpg
-
Should know on Weber within the next 30 minutes or so. If they keep him then it's 4/4 on the day. Basically beat Bama for 2 commits today with Hill (they were pushing HARD for him over the last week) and Prince (was committed to Bama a week and a half ago).
-
Little Bosa will absolutely be at OSU. Probably announce in July or August. There is a lot of shit that could go down tomorrow but right now, cutting through the bullshit, it seems people expect OSU to keep Weber and Gibson, land Prince and Hill and maybe lose Alabi. Cass Tech (school in Detroit where current Buckeye Damon Webb is from and current commits Weber and Alabi are from) is coached by Thomas Wilcher who played football at Michigan with Harbaugh. There was some weird shit happening over the last week or so with Harbaugh and the Cass Tech kids and some stuff may be coming out tomorrow depending on what happens.

I think Weber has Mike Hart written all over him too and I want that. Dude was great at Michigan. He was a little punk with a big mouth but on the field you couldn't deny his ability. 5,600+ yards and 43 TD's in 4 years. I don't know if he'd ever start at OSU and I don't know if he'll ever start at Michigan but he would be a great back to have in the stable to bring in to spell your workhorse.
