Carl is a badass pretty much from the start. A little moody as he is a kid (younger in the comics than the show) but he offed Shane very early on and is more or less a sociopath moving forward. And the event or events that led to the group fleeing from the prison in the comics has already taken place and instead of that happening on the show they had 2 embarrassingly weak attacks from the Governor with the final one resulting in him offing all the strongest members of his own community and running off crying with his boyfriends. Leading to Rick and his people taking in all the children and elderly from Woodbury. Yippee?

I couldn't believe it when he landed at a BCS program. Their dad is the HC right? And they run it up like crazy on everyone. Have a friend who grew up in a town near Kenton and they all hate the Mauk's.

Ehh... Mizzou got their win but will fall flat on their faces now with their QB going down late in the game for the rest of the season. Their ranking doesn't matter to me. Clemson or FSU goes down this week and whoever wins will be ahead of OSU. Think you have to pull for Clemson then hope they pull a Clemson later on in the season. Then in the Pac 12 UCLA plays @ Stanford and @ Oregon the next two weeks. Need them to lose @ Stanford then take down Oregon. Oregon looked pretty ho hum to me against Washington yesterday. I don't think their offense is diverse enough. Lots of the same stuff that Washington just isn't quite ready to defend consistently. UCLA's defense is a little more balanced so I think they will give Oregon a tougher test.

Will watch and try to take seriously for a couple episodes this season. If the hilariously bad acting, writing, etc. continues then it will become an hour-long non-network comedy for me. It's a win-win.

Nah, they've got their own place. 5th oldest stadium in the country. Just got some new stuff for this season though. They did play where the Seahawks play last season during the bulk of the renovations.

They came so close against Stanford this past weekend. Hopefully they're not too down from that. Wish it was a night game in Seattle instead of 1PM.

I was going through the rankings looking for Boise State's win totals and ranking to confirm what I posted earlier and it was comforting seeing all those years with only 1-2 undefeated teams. Some years it was 2 and both were left out because they were from the MWC or WAC. The only year with 4+ was 2009 and the 3 teams left out were TCU, BSU and Cincy. You just never see 3-4+ undefeated teams from BCS conferences. 4 of the current top 6 have to play each other. Then you need the winners of those games to drop just 1 game somewhere else then boom, you're down to OSU and Alabama.

Also, Boise St. has never gone 12-0 and not been in the top 10.

Wisconsin, Nebraska and Northwestern will be in the B1G West starting next year. So there will be a couple seasons in between playing each of them. I don't see how people can complain about conference schedules. That's 100% out of OSU's control. And the Pac 12 and Big 12 are there in future years. Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas and TCU. Then you've got ACC all over the place with VT, UNC and Boston College. There were 2 SEC series scheduled (Georgia and Tennessee) but they backed out due to bigger conference schedules moving forward. You guys need to stop buying into the national media's portrayal of OSU's schedule. Yes, this year it wasn't great. Had Vanderbilt not backed out and had Cal not become a turd over the last 7-8 years it would have looked fine. Ohio State has played 2 ranked teams with 1 more on the schedule. You know how many ranked teams Alabama has played? 2. With 1 more on the schedule. Oregon has played 0 with 3 left on the schedule. Clemson has played 1 with 2 left on the schedule. Notice a trend? These are teams that are ahead of Ohio State in the AP poll and none of them are slated to played more ranked teams than OSU. But for some reason OSU's schedule is being sold as the weakest in the history of college football. And unfortunately some of you have bought it.

Exactly. And he's got at least 2 1/2 seasons left to play here as opposed to Brown who is going to hopefully enjoy the degree he earned at Ohio State after this because he's not going to the league. Such a shame the Gateway boys ended up being busts. Although I think Bell could have eventually panned out. Had a great year last year at Duquesne. Led the team in tackles. He's 2nd in tackles for them this year behind PSU transfer Christian Kuntz but Bell was on a lot of award watch lists going into this season and they're only 4 games in.

Hoping real hard that they use this extra time before Iowa to prep Vonn Bell. If Brown is going to suck anyway I'd rather they start getting Bell going.

There weren't many options for the open date in 2015. I remember when the article came out about VT being a Monday night game they mentioned most if not all of the teams still available and it wasn't exactly a who's who of college football.

There are going to be some awesome games in there.

I see now where LJ saw the thing about Meyer wanting soft coverage and Fickell wanting to blitz more. Matt Finkes. But today during the B1G teleconference, Meyer said the pass defense right now is alarming and blamed it on soft coverage and missed tackles. So I'll stick by thinking that Meyer probably isn't pushing for soft zones out there...

Legends division will be interesting to watch. Michigan @ PSU this weekend should give us a little better idea of what to expect over there.

NW just gave it everything they had against OSU. Wisconsin had a bye week to stew over their loss to OSU. Had OSU decided to grind it out earlier and not turned the ball over 3 times they could have pounded NW to death with the run as well. Wisconsin will get back to the 350ypg rushing they had prior to the OSU game and NW will just have to take it. Not sure why you think NW is going to double their average passing total... There's a reason Wisconsin opened as a 10-point favorite for this game and it's already gone up to 10.5.
