  1. I mean, even Charles Barkley (played basketball at Auburn) said Manziel has got him close to saying "Roll Tide!" Everything that kid has done in the last 10 months screams douche.
  2. Have a real douchey A&M friend. I hope it isn't a distraction and I really don't think it will be. It's a player who isn't on the team anymore. If anything it could fuel them to go harder with the remote possibility out there that they could lose their accolades from a season ago. I hope Bama wins by 30 and Manziel is taken out for the season.
  3. Yahoo absolutely brought the heat with that report. Receipts, text messages, bank records, etc., etc. But it's the SEC. Fluker should be ruled ineligible and their 2012 championship should be vacated. But the NCAA, SEC and Bama will find a way to say it was all on the up and up or in good faith or not against the spirit of the rules (like how Manziel's suspension was due to violating the spirit of a rule...lol) and little to nothing will happen. One of the best parts in all of this... Fluker admitted to taking money back in April. http://i.imgur.com/T20TTkG.jpg Of course he later claimed his account was hacked and everyone was told to move along, nothing to see here. Charles Robinson apparently didn't move along.
  4. Also be sure that you have 8GB of free space on whichever console you buy it for. I thought the 8GB install was only for 360 because of it being on 2 discs vs. 1 for PS3 but apparently it's for both platforms.
  5. Not sure which part of the game mechanics you're speaking of but if it's the shooting stuff all of that is using the same engine that Rockstar has refined since Red Dead Redemption. If anything it's overly simple, easy and very smooth.
  6. The deep thigh bruise was his senior year I think? And just read about those and if they aren't properly treated they can get pretty nasty and have permanent effects. I thought he broke his leg his freshman or sophomore year. I don't remember an ankle break. This was 6-7 years ago now though...lol. He literally carried Wayne through his entire career there though. Could probably dig through his thread on BuckeyePlanet to find all the injuries but I'm sure his thread is ginormous at this point.
  7. The Killing was cancelled after season 2 then "un-cancelled" and they had a 3rd season which I heard was better than the first 2. They haven't been renewed for a 4th season as of yet but it's got a chance.
  8. You discredited it yourself by posting that link. :gabe: I'm not kidding though when I say I have never heard anything but the opposite.
  9. Yeah, OSU's big "insider" called him to OSU a couple months ago when he came to OSU camp and did really well. Had never even started a HS game yet. Started this past week and did OK for his first start in a big-time game against Canton Glen Oak.
  10. Got 4 OL in this class with 2 more potential. Brown already working on Mavety on Twitter. Hoping for Prince but not as optimistic anymore.
  11. 4* ATH (will be an outside receiver) Noah Brown from NJ just committed to OSU. Urban and crew hitting the NYC area hard.
  12. Mmmm... a Bleacher Report article from 2008. Back before Turner picked them up and tried to give them a shroud of legitimacy (which they still don't have). I'm fairly certain I have never heard/read about Beanie wanting to play and Tressel not letting him from anyone but you. I mean, obviously you have that article as the source but every single other account of that whole thing has been the complete opposite.
  13. Worst stinger for OSU I can remember is probably Shaun Lane. Fiesta Bowl vs. Texas. Completely lost feeling in one of his arms and had to stay in a Phoenix hospital for 3 days. I've heard the complete opposite on Beanie. Everyone expected to him to play against USC and he pulled himself out. Tressel would never go "toe to toe" with a player who felt his future was at risk regardless of how it would affect the game. The thing I always heard with Beanie was not knowing the difference between being hurt and being injured. Getting some of that same vibe with Braxton but I think another thing with him is he never... falls well. He almost always goes down awkwardly. I don't know if that's coachable or what but when he's being tackled he almost always ends up tangled and folding over himself. Watched Nebraska play the last 2 weeks with a big Nebraska fan friend and Martinez calls his own number quite a bit but he always... falls well. He gets tackled and just kinda rolls, tumbles and pops right back up.
  14. "Fly" is widely regarded as both one of the best and one of the worst episodes. People love it or hate it. People alternate between loving it and hating it. I think I've always loved it. Re-watched it recently (been re-watching the first few seasons as this final season airs) and loved it again. Guy who directed it also directed Looper and directed this week's episode, "Ozymandias." Should be amazing.
  15. The Walking Dead is an awful, awful show. Seeing it in so many posts is painful. Breaking Bad has a chance to go down as the best series ever depending on how these last 3 episodes go. So far this final season has been incredibly good. Game of Thrones is fantastic. I've re-watched all 6 seasons of Lost 3 times. Dexter had 3 really, really good seasons (1, 2 and 4), a couple good ones (5 and 7), 2 terrible ones (3 and 6) and this final season has been a disaster. Clearly rushed and not well thought out. Going to be a shitty end for what was once an amazing show.
  16. Ehhh... transitive property doesn't really work in college football. And we've been over the Buffalo game so much already. After 1 quarter it looked like OSU would put 70 up on Buffalo as well. Then you take out the starting center, your starting QB cramps up, your best LB cramps up, you're already down 2 starting DB's, etc., etc.
  17. I think Missouri would be a pretty nice first HC job for him. SEC, Texas recruiting available, not crazy expectations. Putting him at Texas with as little experience as he has would be like OSU signing Fickell long-term during the 2011 season.
  18. I think that's too big too quick for Tom. Have heard Missouri for him if Pinkel has another rough year. Herman did become the HC at Texas in one of my NCAA 14 online dynasties though...lol.
  19. USC lost 10-7 to Washington St. at home. Crowd was chanting "Fire Kiffin" in the 4th quarter. USC threw for a total of 54 yards.
  20. So Texas struggled a bit early last week against NMSU but eventually blew it open. Getting just bulldozed by BYU tonight. Down 40-21 going into the 4th, BYU has 485 rushing yards through 3. Gotta be Mack Brown's last year. Hopefully OSU can poach Jerrod Heard from their class.
  21. The AD's for both schools seem to agree on keeping the game at noon. And I wanted to laugh at the delusional Cincy fans (not on here, just... everywhere else...lol) because of the beatdown they received today from an awful B1G team but just saw a gif of Munchie's knee injury and... damn. Hope that kid can fully recover not just for football but for just everyday life. Lattimore-esque.
  22. Not sure how much they'll have to do/show next week either now. Cal is struggling with Portland State.
  23. Nah, not worth pulling an offer. It's not a legal issue. Just a dumb play that's going to cost the kid some games his senior year of HS. Roby and Reeves were listed as co-starters on the depth chart. Players missing time due to injury or suspension have to earn their spot back in practice. Can't just walk back into a starting spot.
  24. Apparently OSU commit Jalyn Holmes was ejected from his HS game tonight. Wound up his leg and straight kicked another player on the field. Looks like he'll miss 2 more games based on his league's rules regarding these things as well. And OSU's QB commit has been tearing it up so far this season. Had something like 6 TD's last week and had another beastly game tonight... 4 TD's in the first half.
