Obvious solution is to move Cincinnati's campus.

I still remember when I was like 6-7 my grandpa and I went to a store and he just ran in real quick and left me in the car. I didn't notice how close he had parked to the car next to us OR that its owner was still in it. I go to open my door and go in after my grandpa had taken a while and just slam my door right into this guy's car as he's sitting there with his window open. He just looked at me like the little shit I was and said "Thanks a lot." So I haven't caught anyone who ever damaged my car but have been caught damaging someone else's.

I figure they'll end up at 3rd at best unless some whacky shit happens. They'll move ahead of SEC title game loser after this weekend but I could easily see them not only staying behind a BCS title game loser but being jumped by another high-performing BCS bowl team. Obviously I was very happy to see them win against Michigan and finish undefeated but they needed to make a statement in that game (and they had the opportunities to - game should have been a blowout really) if they wanted to get more respect in the AP.

His receivers are by no means great. Philly is awesome (how many freakin' 3rd down conversion catches did that kid have this year?) but outside of that... some young TE's and the consistently inconsistent Devin Smith. And he went 14/18 for almost 200 today with a TD and no picks against, statistically, the best pass defense in the country. Not so sure that qualifies as "being terrible at QB." His worst stuff today (and over the last few games of the season really) was his indecision/bad reads on the read option plays, not his passing. Also, people always say QB's make their biggest improvement from their first to second years. I'd say that this was basically Braxton's first year playing QB in college. Last year he didn't have the proper coaching or weapons. This year he got some real coaching and still didn't have great weapons. Next year he will be deep into this system with some new weapons coming and his current weapons progressing with him.

So one of the rumored names for the Tennessee job... James Patrick Tressel. Surprised his name would pop up so soon in the rumor mills but I guess it's a possibility.

Everything has been fine for me since this morning at least. No channels missing, no real pixelation issues.

It's just annoying that they're a major program sitting right in the middle of B1G country and have played several B1G programs for years yet won't join.

Sucks to be stuck in the Big East (for now) for sure. Watched the Rutgers presser at 2pm today and they couldn't have been happier to latch onto a conference that isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Would have been interesting to watch the Big East in the mid-2000's if VT and Miami would have stuck around. WVU, Louisville and Rutgers were flirting with national title game appearances under Rodriguez, Petrino and Schiano. Then Cincy was real strong under Dantonio and stronger for Kelly's short stint. Right now (and I think this was discussed in here by others) Delaney wants to dismantle the ACC and try to force ND's hand. He might get some help from the SEC (take a couple teams out of FSU, Clemson, GT, etc.) but it's probably going to slow back down for a while moving forward.

OSU undefeated, no bowl game, honoring 2002 national title team (Tressel will be there), first Michigan game under Urban... it's still The Game. GLWS

It's just a brand at this point. I doubt it will be changed. That's because they used to get the shit kicked out of them regularly by PSU. Was playing a game earlier with my PSU friend and he was making fun of their chancellor talking about the great rivalry they used to have with PSU. Then he told me their record vs. PSU... 1-35-1 or something like that. So they're 3-9 against the rest of the B1G...lol.

I think they'll definitely clash before the end of this season. Still 10 episodes left. I think the first clash will occur in episode 8 before they take a mid-season break.
-
Maybe it's just another case of us comicfags realizing all the little things that just got put into play in that episode.

Actually ended up around $7/month cheaper for me because of the setup we had before (2 HD DVR's).
-
It's more of a their old DVR was do outdated thing than Ultra being ahead of the curve on anything else. What you'll get with Ultra is pretty much the "norm" in the "6 shows at once" DVR era now. But compared to WOW's old user interface/boxes... felt like a huge jump.

Another thing on Maryland... Under Armor is based in Baltimore. nevada says their CEO has vowed to try and do with Maryland what Nike has done with Oregon. Traditionalists may not like what Oregon does but kids love it.
-
I guess he counts as an "official Texas person." lol I don't think he's wrong though either. How many providers were carrying LHN to start this season? I know a few jumped on mid-season or so but it wasn't on that many to start off.
-
Yeah, I haven't really paid much attention to them since they started the season off with a loss to YSU...lol. A lot of people said Chryst wasn't a great recruiter either so I thought... well, they're not getting the X's and O's right and he's not going to being in the talent so this looks like a disaster. But they got stuff corrected pretty fast and actually should have beat ND too.
-
I don't know if it was official Texas people or just their media or what but within the last month or so people started saying the LHN was actually HURTING them...lol.
-
nevada says GT was floated over the weekend to keep pressure on Maryland to join. Never a real serious option.
-
He didn't say much if anything. I don't really remember. Most "insiders" stayed away from him because he was pretty quiet and really seemed to want to stay closer to home. If his visits to OSU would have happened then it looked good but Pitt pulled out all the stops for him and Robert Foster this past weekend.
-
Going from their old DVR to Ultra was seriously like s 20-30 year jump in technology...lol.

Off of nevada's information, I've been telling you guys Rutgers and Maryland for what? A year or so now? There will be a lot of "neutral" site games with B1G teams playing in NFL stadiums in the NY and Baltimore/DC areas with the additions of those teams (again, according to nevada). Even an OSU/Rutgers matchup in Yankees Stadium. nevada's final 2 teams to complete a 16-team B1G right now are Missouri and Texas. Everyone thought Missouri for a while but when they moved to the SEC people changed their tune but nevada said that on Friday or so. Obviously, Texas would be huge.
